Children of the Watch was recommended to me by a Facebook friend a few years back and my heart overflowed with positive fandom Alex and Mac delivered. It was like the perfect Axis of Star Wars knowledge and excitement that hooked me and keeps me coming back. The only thing that compares to my excitement level when watching a new Star Wars property is listening to Alex and Mac break it all down in an easily digestible manner while also pointing out Easter eggs and tiny things that I may have missed on my first watch. AXIS I have always been an avid TV/movie watcher and friends had always told me to check out podcasts but I never got invested. However, during Mandalorian season 2, I finally caved and checked out Children of the Watch (which a friend had recommended) and I am hooked! Since then, I have never missed an episode and have even gone back to rewatch the past shows they’ve covered and am fully caught up with their content (other than their newest book review since I’m behind on reading). Alex and Mac are the perfect hosts. The Star Wars fandom regularly feels overly toxic and critical. Alex and Mac do not bring that to their podcast. They do provide critiques and insight but do it in a way that is still ultimately uplifting and engaging. And with their Patreon and Discord, they have created a community of Star Wars fans that is actually fun to engage with instead of people who just constantly trash everything. Children of the Watch was my gateway podcast to so many more shows too (many of which Alex and Mac have recommended. If you’re a true Star Wars fan, give this show a listen and a follow! I love listening to Alex and Mac break down each new Star Wars show (and everything in between)! I started listening when they were covering the Mandalorian season 3, and now I have listened to all of their past breakdowns. In my opinion, their breakdown of Ahsoka was the best. I also love how they are always clean so I can listen to the podcast with my family. We always enjoy talking about Alex and Mac’s irresponsible speculation and theories. Keep the watch! #Axissss
