The Actual Rapper Cam'RonHagiFeels like, if you’re going to say Sarah Hagi agrees with you, you might as well have her on the show to say so for herself

socalcocoLove the podcastA good jolt for one of those Americans who idealizes Canada as a kind of Utopia. But really, you can’t see Bing as an alternative to Google because you think it will be weird to say Bing? Please launch a Canadian campaign to “just say Bing” every time you’re about to say the “G” word. They’re thugs, erase them. Also Bing may just end up winning the AI wars.

JudokrisWanted to listen to my first episode but it was behind a paywallNever going to listen now

angrylfNot really journalism exactlyThe quality of discussion is incredibly uneven - a bit like Fox News for woke types - sadly not very good but I assume they are under enormous financial pressure so I guess they have to declare their colours to get money from listeners. Canada needs a news source that at least attempts to be objective and this sure isn’t it.

blkcat97Great journalismI learn so much from this podcast. I may be from the United States but I don’t hear news like this. It would be awesome to have an equivalent to this in the United States too.

BiscoBoopBazaar42ExcellentAmerican listener, but the journalistic integrity and quality content provided by Jesse and the rest of the crew at Canadaland are quite remarkable. Just started my membership today. Keep up the good work, folks!

mbjk987Keep up the French episodes!Love the French language podcast episodes. As a Canadian expat who doesn’t hear French as much as I used to, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I was able to follow. Great having a non corporate bilingual source of Canadian news

*krrUnfortunate narrative qualityTypical of Canadian media, this very important story could have been better told. So disappointed with the writing. It should be more compelling, and move faster. I lost interest after 1.5 episodes.

OngMigood podcast butlove seeing the transphobia in the reviews, good job at being a homophobe @eatthemenu

eatthemenuMen debating women’s rights/misogynyI absolutely love the episode where the two men debate Jessica Yaniv who is using the legal system to harass women because they didn’t want to touch his penis! They seem to think that this is exactly the same as the civil rights movement where black customers would do sit-ins. They essentially make the point that if a woman has a penis (lol) then women should be compelled to touch them. Hear that ladies? These men think serving someone with a different skin color in a restaurant is the exact same as a predatory male trying to use the legal system in Canada to punish women for not touching his penis. So progressive! Thanks gentleman, this woman now knows that she should NEVER refuse to touch a penis in Canada!

Aquabee520Good and badSome decent media criticism... very cynical and hosts that are working super hard to be cool. So-so. Oppo podcast audio super low-quality, sounds like Jen is recording in her bathroom. You should be embarrassed of your audio in this day and age...

CoolDog420Mean and spitefulI liked the first few episodes of the program, then I heard one where they ragged on a CBC host. Jesse and the guest were incredibly mean spirited and cruel talking about this person. When I though they would stop they continued to bag on the host's upcoming show I had to shut it off because I was embarssed listening to the way Jesse and Co behaved. It even drove me to review this negatively. Snobby and elitist.

makewenAt last a show on the Canadian mediaNot quite as serious as NPR's On the Media in the U.S., but still vital for anybody interested in Canada

mritcheGreat independent media commentaryI've been looking for a show like this for a long time. CBC's radio shows and podcasts are good but lack a critical and introspective look at the Canadian media this provides. Keep it up!
