While I appreciate the host and all he does the constant use of “if you will” doesn’t do well for his intelligence and the steel drum music is way too loud. Hire a producer!

Matt talks too fast!! I sometimes have to listen to a topic several times as I feel I couldn’t understand everything he was saying! Incredibly thankful though for all the things I’ve learned from him about RC.

In 2023 we were new to Royal Caribbean and cruising overall. We were looking up different YouTube videos, informational videos on navigator on the seas. We came across Matt and Royal Caribbean Blog and the information that he has given has helped us immensely and definitely persuaded us to keep booking with Royal Caribbean. We’re excited to announce that we have two cruises booked for 2025 in June on adventure of the sea. And in December 2025 on quantum of the seas, thank you Matt keep up the great work with this podcast. Much love.

Matt is incredibly knowledgeable about Royal Caribbean. I binge listened to all 536 episodes currently up there minus 3 that are missing over a three month period. It’s amazing seeing the growth in RC and Matt. Great listen

I only have discovered this podcast about six months ago, and I discovered it probably like everybody else does when I began to plan my first royal Caribbean cruise, which is coming up in June 2023 to Alaska… Matt Hochberg is an enthusiastic, thorough host, who rarely belabors any subject to the point where I lose interest, even if it’s an aspect of cruising, I have no interest in whatsoever, like the drink package!… I have managed to binge almost 300 of the 500 available episodes in a little over three months because he’s just a fun companion to have on my hour long commute every day…

I listened to the interview with the meterologist and it was interesting. The question section at the end was too hard to listen to. Matt was flying through his comments so fast that I couldn't understand him. It was annoying and I turned the show off.

I started listening to this podcast during quarantining in 2020. This podcast is a must-listen to if you’re planning on going on any Royal Caribbean cruise. So much info!! I love when others come on and give their opinions on cruises they’ve just got off of. This last one with Jenna was a hoot-and-a-half!! LOL Listening to her experience on the e-bike was hilarious!! Plus, her aversions to water slides was very entertaining. Keep up the great work!! T.A.

Love the podcasts and the you tube channel. You do not need the steel drum music. Too distracting. Please consider eliminating the music. John

Not sure if Matt wants to hear this but much of his content is more than Royal Caribbean. Even if you are not much of a cruiser. I enjoy his content so much. I have learned useful information about cruising as a whole and about ports. What to do when cruising. What to think about.

We discovered this podcast before our cruise on Grandeur of the Seas last year and it has entertained us throughout the year. Matt does a great job keeping us up to date on the latest cruise news. It has been great listening to cruise stories during the shut down to look back and reflect at better times. He is very witty and fun to listen to. Matt is a great host! Tons of information and his excitement for Royal Caribbean cruises is contagious. I found this podcast while waiting at the airport for my flight to a cruise and it was a fun listen.

By far best travel and cruise podcasts out there. Matt is great and has a wealth of information. I love that he focuses on how families can enjoy a vacation. Too many podcasts do not include enough information for families and those with small kids. Matt thank you!!! You have enchanted our travel experiences.

I’m a periodic Royal Caribbean cruiser, but that’s not why I’m addicted to RCCL Blog. Host Matt Hochberg is an amazing communicator. I spend hours listening to (and watching on YouTube) him talk about ships, many of which I will probably never sail on. He is just that much fun to listen to! But don’t get me wrong, his content is incredibly useful and the information is solid. Matt is THE authority on Royal Caribbean. RCCL Blog (along with CruiseTipsTV podcast and Vlog) are all you need to know about cruising media.

Unlike many podcasts you can count on Matt to post excellent content every week like clockwork!

This is a must-listen for all Royal Caribbean cruise fans. So professional, so informative, so entertaining you’d think it was done by the cruise line itself but because it’s independent you get the real story good, bad or otherwise. Going on a cruise, researching ships, or just a fan of cruising this is a great show!

The show is breezy and the host seems like a nice guy, even if he isn't most articulate fellow in the world. Make no mistake though, this is very pro-Royal Caribbean, so don't expect objectivity.

To me, this is the best cruising podcast. While I’m biased towards Royal Caribbean (which is Matt’s focus), I have enjoyed cruises on NCL, Viking River and Celebrity. Whether you are new to cruising or a seasoned vet, this show provides a lot of interesting info. No schtick, just great info provided by someone who obviously invests a lot of time to make his podcast relevant. 👍👍

I started listening about a week ago and can’t stop listening. An excellent way to pas the time at the gym. My girlfriend and I have been on three RC cruises and have four more booked in the next two years. I find the Podcast and the YouTube shows so informative that I can’t believe how we survived the first three cruises without all the information. Keep up the great work.

Royal Caribbean podcast that lets the guest ask questions. Tells it like it is just like Matt did about Disney. Enjoy how much he loves cruising. The best cruise podcast, hands down. Very informative not just on Royal Caribbean, but cruising in general, as well as destinations. But Matt’s knowledge on RCCL is second to none. Great format, always new topics, very responsive.

Exactly what I need to plan a cruise.

Matt does a great job and shares a wealth of knowledge. Even if you are not committed to Royal Caribbean he has a wealth of info about ports, destinations, and even trip planning. Beware though if you hear Matt you will likely decide one day YOLO BOOK IT!
