Bonita LagunaUsually GreatLike the show, except when Pip is on and drags the entire conversation into nonsense and despair.

KhmeireHurrah for C&C!You know you’re in for good pod when the show notes make you laugh!

Jesse (name already taken)Super funGreat podcast. The emphasis on the experience of playing games, rather than the games themselves, is very welcome. Pip is particular delight.

snuugglesUsed to be great. So sad its bad nowI’ve supported c&c via patreon. I can’t any longer. Pip is unlistenably bad. She clearly does not enjoy the act of speaking about games and prefers to blab on about anything on her mind that isn't games. She seems actively hostile to her boyfriend who hosts the show. I know this could seem like “guy who hates women,” which is why I’ve given it so very long to see if I can get over it. But no. She is not good. She is bad. I’m very sad.

No One Special, I promiseMy favorite video game podcastThey are thoughtful and funny in their discussions of PC gaming. A personal favorite.

LetsGoSteakManGreat!Been listening for years.

MickanioGood for game devs and fans alike!I really looks forward to listening to this podcast. I’m a game developer, and this is the only gaming podcast I’ve found that I like so far. It’s really funny - I find myself laughing out loud often. From the game dev side: the in depth way they talk about game mechanics as well as having a game dev on the show make their takes really useful.

xbritchesxlovely! My favorite podcast, and I don't even play PC games. Funny, smart, and insightful discussion about a whole range of topics. I look forward to their updates every week.

GuyalTop Bants! Most knowledgeable PC gaming types meet regularly at the Crate and Crow, a pub on Hemwick Charnel Lane in Bath, England, for drinks, toast and great conversation

MIPT58Very intelligent and intertainingIt's is genuinely funny and helpful. All of these guys have college degrees that make them outstanding. I.e. standing out of the crowd of semi-literate giggling teenagers that fill up the gaming podcast scene.

BuggedJuneEntertaining and in depth podcast about video gamesOnly podcast in my line up with automatic downloads. Absolutely phenomenal discussions and tangents on a weekly basis. Oh, and puns.

coolwithpieGreat Fun, But some episodes are missingThis is a great podcast with hilarious people, that you should watch if you like sausages, drinking, and PC gaming. However, I have been working back through the episodes, and they only have down to 32 on itunes here. It would be awesome to fix that, but not a necessity.

youmeyouThese men shall not eat Crow(bars)Loved these guys on the PC Gamer cast, love them even more here. Great conversations abound: from the deeply mechanical to the irreverent and fanciful, C&C runs the gamut. The highlight of my podcast rotation!

JaeDWelchEssential DLC for your Gaming LifeThis is by far one of the strongest, most engaging podcasts about video games you can download. Comprised of current and former PC Gamer (UK) staff, the Crate and Crowbar team provides informal but informative discussions about the play, design, and philosophy of recent and up-coming titles. Though light-hearted and irreverent at times, these podcasters always approach the subject of video games from a perspective of respect, enjoyment, and none-too-infrequent awe. Not only do I have these gentlemen to thank for introducing me to several amazing games I might have otherwise missed, but podcasts like this one also provided motivation (and knowledge) in my pursuit of a career in the games industry. For extra entertainment (and frequent inspiration), check out the older (now defunct) PC Gamer (UK) podcast. The games discussed may be old news now, but the insight and perceptiveness present in this material should not be missed by anyone with a serious interest in video games. Plus, fun accents. Caution: Newer podcasts may include up to 4.7% Spelunky content. Players with DOTA 2 allergies should also avoid.

Ratbelly123Good podcastDefinitely a worthwile podcast on PC Gaming. I followed them on the PC Gamer UK podcast and was very happy to see they had continued doing podcasts as Crate and Crowbar.

dustxnullPc Gamer UK Lives!Great pc gamer podcast by guys who really have great insight into game design and are witty and entertaining.

Crapricorn1Welcome Back! (Thank the Stars They're Back!)I was really, really saddened to hear that that PC Gamer UK podcast was going away. I listen to the PC Gamer US podcast as well and subscribe to the magazine in the US. While I enjoy the US podcast, I found the UK version funnier while more openly, honestly critical of the games they played. They talk about the latest AAA title certainly, but they also talk about a wider range of games especially in the indie area. The chemistry of the crew is great. I always felt these guys would be happy to make this podcast even if they weren't getting paid for it. And now, they should be very happy. If you like PC games and want a no-holds-barred review of games and the gaming industry, give this podcast a spin. The price is right, and it's worth infinitely more.

RemerbrMuch BetterIf you're a PC gamer, this is the podcast for you. Since these guys have no longer have occupational obligations toward the dialogue, they have more creative freedom. Funnier than the US PC Gamer Podcast and more relevant than the Giant Bombcast. The death of the UK Podcast was a blessing, now we get these guys weekly and with better topics.

Iknow42Great funProbably the funniest video games podcast out there. Hosted by people who know what they are talking about and know how to keep a podcast interesting.

The R3al Br1tInfinite Dragons!!! And other pc thingsA wonderfully tangential, bizarre and downright funny group of pc people i.e. people in the pc industry not people who are pcs, although I imagine they all have been Player Characters at some point... Er... Anyway. An informal chat about pc gaming from the wonderful guys of pc gamer uk and their friends that provides insight, laughs and unique perspectives and is thoroughly entertaining from the opening hello to the final moments with all the bizarre moments, slightly echoey audio and mistakes in between. I can't recommend this podcast any more highly since the star rating only goes to 5. Yay for these guys!!
