Now I know why Bob retired. I watched a Tiny Desk Concert a few weeks ago and right in the middle of a song, BOOM, COMMERCIAL! What?!

I love that you guys do this. I think it would be cool if you had more people that are just singing or maybe some more bands that people love and have heard of.

Love the audio version of Tiny Desk because it allows me to listen to the songs on the subway here in NYC. Please bring it back!

Love the podcast but looks like a year since you added any new shows. What’s the deal?

Not so much a review but more of a recommendation; please familiarize yourself with the pop rock group, Seeing Double. Their first four releases, Leah (over 3.7 million streams to date), Don’t Wait, Take it or Leave It and their latest, Bygones, illustrate their broad, genre-less sound! You will not be disappointed!!

Seriously, why are there no more tiny desk segments being uploaded? I’ve already stumbled across two recent clips of different guests from tiny desk on the internet and, while not frustrating, it’s a little annoying that these podcasts are pretty much dead now for no reason. Have you moved to a different platform?

Leave it to NPR for literally the best programming in every area/medium you like. The tiny desk shows are the funnest way to find artists you might not know about. Fun overload.

How about updating more often?

I’ve found so many fantastic artists/songs by listening to this series. It’s the perfect length to give a glimpse of the artists’ personalities and their style.

I’m not sure how they select the acts for this show? There’s never an explanation as to why someone is there, although it’s almost always an unspoken promotion for their latest albums. The concept is kinda cool, but it’s a bit too irreverent of a concept for there to be such a revolving doors-approach to booking artists. There’s no connection from one concert to another, and it isn’t really a special performance space; it’s literally at a guy’s desk. Good for you if you enjoy the gimmick that much, but I have to be honest and say I’ve given this a shot and the series isn’t for me. Erykah Badu, Mac Miller w/ band, and the Bob Weir show were all class acts & memorable shows that I have listened to dozens of times each. My advice is listen to this if you see an artist you already like. I think they’re trying to like “expose” listeners to “new” music and that just feels so corny and forced sometimes, it’s difficult to enjoy. Yet, some favorite artists of mine have gone on there and ripped a great set, so I can’t purely criticize the show. Tl;dnr: decent series overall, cringingly gimmicky, has had some really high moments in its history yet I don’t listen to it often.

I subscribe to the audio-only because I CANNOT stream video. There is no need to say how to get the video. Today's "audio" podcast says it is video.

I love the variety of bands that come through the NPR offices to play 10-15 minutes at the "tiny desk". One small complaint: Most podcasts have too much intro, this one doesn't have any. It would be great if Bob Boilen would name the band and maybe a sentence about who they are in the opening. I listen to podcasts sequentially, and often don't bother looking at my phone to get the title / description.

I work too much and this is my cheat sheet for happiness at times! Keep it up!

Truly great shows, once they do one with Robert Earl Keen they'll truly reach the pinnacle.

I keep deleting and unsubscribing from tiny desk concerts because when the NPR politics podcast downloads, it keeps saying it is tiny desk concerts. How do I fix this? (Not that I don’t like tiny desk concerts)

I try to subscribe to the npr politics podcast and it keeps giving me the tiny desk podcast. I don’t want it, and I will remain unsubscribed until you fix it. FIX IT. I really used to enjoy the show, but I won’t tolerate getting the bloody tiny desk show.

My NPR politics podcast keeps turning into tiny desk concerts, everyday I resubscribe and it still changes back. Please fix this NPR!

I used to subscribe to Tiny Desk concerts. I stopped listening for two weeks and it was replaced miraculously with this podcast. No bueno.

Diverse set of musicians. Lots I’ve never heard of. It’s a glimpse into the style, genre, and artistic feel of the musicians. It feels very organic, very personal.

Informal short concerts by various artists exposing new artists. Well produced and excellently done. Love turning on the YouTube feed and letting it run to new artists.
