Wasn't a huge Katie fan, but this pod has gone brutal since she left. Chad cannot do it solo, and any other guest he brings on he just interrupts and talks over non-stop. Pod has gone from info and conversation to now just trying to have a sales pitch for the entire time. Chad tries to sell this as an "ad-free" show, yet 50% of every pod is spend shilling his own ads. Terrible listen and time to unsubscribe.

Chad, please stop spending over half of each podcast talking about why people should be paid subscribers. More content and less advertising your patreon, etc will be more effective. I want to stay a subscriber, but the content is too watered down with all the advertising for your paid offerings.

When Chad does a show solo he gets this creepy Joe Biden-like whisper. As if he’s trying not to wake his wife up in the next room and his walls are paper thin. Really hard to listen to. Too much promotion of his paid content, which I get, but this podcast used to offer information; it wasn’t a giant advertisement for his Patreon

I really hate leaving this review because I used to love this pod, and I think the dynasty takes are usually great! But since Katie left, I’m afraid this has really gone downhill. Any information has been very generic and high level. It has also taken on a STRONGLY sales pitch tone. I very much hope this is a bump in the road and the show improves to where it was before.

I used to love this podcast, it had 2 hosts and the length was a good hour or 45 minutes… now he is by himself releasing 30 minute podcasts where 10 minutes of it is pushing Patreon and other stuff. I’m glad he is supporting Patreon subs but what happened to the free weekly podcast.

The show provides informative takes, well thought out and backed by historical data and probabilities. This isn't a show that is hot-takey and wants you to ride the 5% guys and hope you hit some 5th round rookie pick. Quite the opposite. This show will instruct you how to build a winning team, every year. Not every couple of years. Every year. Chad's model is superior to any other. The tools, excel sheets, extra podcasts and trade calculaors are well worth the membership. Historical models may be boring and dull, so if you're looking for arguements and bold takes, this isn't the show for you.

Best dynasty podcast out there

This is a great pod for dynasty players because it’s not the same old opinions you hear on 90% of any other fantasy football podcast. It will help broaden your outlook on strategy and player evaluations.

I haven’t listened to this show in about a year since Katie Flowers’ poor take on the Deshaun Watson situation. She should do better than victim blaming and calling women liars.

I do really like the podcast. Chad is unusual in the dynasty space and has interesting takes and explains his reasoning well. He makes me think even when I disagree with the take. Katie is tough to listen to much of the time. She deeply believes she is an expert and doesn’t give other opinions much thought. She believes the audience, other players in her leagues, and other analyst are stupid compared to her. It’s a shame because her takes aren’t unusually bad, they are just regular takes but the lecture and condescending tones are rough.

Katie is complete garbage. She bullies people she is in leagues with bc she is on some garbage podcast. Her opinions are poorly informed and she is an industry troll, yet she will DM you and tell you why you should accept her garbage offer. Probably an anti-masker. Unsubscribe immediately

Well done Chad. So much better than the typical rehash of the show’s history.

Poor quality podcast, not worth listening to. Unless you are looking for podcast dedicated to AJ Dillon.

By far my favorite fantasy sports podcast. Chad is extremely approachable and can’t recommend UTH enough!

Been listening since Doug was Chad’s partner in crime. Alway my go to for dynasty. I have won 3 separate dynasty leagues since listening and won 2 rings in one of those league. Always the first podcast I listen to in fantasy.

I listen to several dynasty podcasts on a regular basis and UTH is one of my favorites. I feel like you get very unique insights that you don’t hear on other pods that I have found to be very valuable across my multiple teams. Great work!

I consider the UTH podcast a “must listen” podcast. I don’t miss an episode. UTH may not be the only perspective on player evaluation I use, but I believe their evaluations are critical to my dynasty success.

Straightforward, good listen. I haven’t missed many of these in the last year. Very helpful resource with decent banter between hosts/guests. Not a ton of outside the box thinking, which can be fun, but that’s not their strength. Again, from above, they utilize a straightforward approach and it works. I’d love to hear more guests with different perspectives... perhaps experts that are great at identifying talent that do not(!) have a dynasty or fantasy spin; maybe a guest who specializes in psychology that may give you an edge in trade negotiations; maybe a former coach who can discuss the importance of being a “team player” in the NFL (a $15.3 billion dollar industry). These types of guests seem to be a largely untapped resource in the field and as I listen to many many podcasts, those are the episodes that keep me coming back for more. I digress, keep up the good work and I’ll keep tuning in!

I don’t know when it happened, but this became my favorite podcast. About 4-5 years ago, a friend suggested UTH along with a few other dynasty related podcasts. As someone who was trying to get an edge on my competition, I began listening to get a better sense of what might be impacting his decision making. I was skeptical of UTH and the philosophy for quite awhile, but I think that’s because I was missing the point on what it actually was. There are a lot of misconceptions out there. I’m not going to give the secret sauce out in a review, but once you have a better understanding of the process, the analysis within the podcast will seem less ambiguous (I see complaints about people thinking some of the content isn’t actionable, but it really is once you understand the process). It took me multiple years to get to this point and a self-evaluation of my process and approach. It’s a lot less of “I like X more than Y” and a lot more “X and Y have similar ranges of outcomes, how can I leverage this”. You aren’t going to get the standard “I have Z as RBxx” or “they have a mock draft ADP of xx” or a cookie cutter approach to dynasty. You will get challenged to think about your process and approach and how make higher value decisions (this doesn’t mean you’ll always be right). I’d recommend this podcast to anyone who is actually willing to push themselves and think critically about dynasty as a whole.

UTH offers some good advice and can keep you from doing stupid things. I do wish there was more disagreement at times. It feels a bit like an echo chamber on player evaluations.

First off I like the content. However, Katie talks over/interrupts Chad (and vice versa) enough that its grating. I just unsubscribed grudgingly. What is interesting is that on the Football Guys Dynasty show with Chad and Jordan McNamara this isn't an issue at all. Maybe Chad/Katie are just very close and comfortable with each other but it would be a much better podcast if they could make a conscious effort (BOTH) to not talk over each other as much. Would be a 5 star review otherwise, they are as smart as it comes.

Decent content, but HATE it when the talk over each other. Big turn off.

I hate to have to listen to background noise while taking in content. If hear your ice rattling in your cup while your gulping Mountain Dew, it grates on my nerves. This could be so easily avoided

I have been in a dyansty league for 16 year. The 1st 15 minutes of this podcast I almost couldn't listne to. To suggest you take a "0" at QB not to waste a roster spot. (remeber your in a dynasty league) and to act like good QB's are just laying aorund is a joke. To say Burrows is a 3rd round pick makes me seroiusly consider what kind of league are they in. Are you telling me that RB's and WR that are 10th on the list are more valueable. Just go back into any NFL draft and look at the list down there. Many of them are not even in the NFL after 5 years. You always have the exception but the hit rate on them are low. I will keep listeing for a while but out of the blocks I wonder what their set up of their league they are in. Mabye they are in a 6 team league that doesn't give credit for passing TD's or something. Just one man's opinion.

Chad...please, please stop interrupting Katie! You constantly jump in and finish her thoughts. I love the style of the podcast with more bigger picture ideas and strategy vs breaking down the catch radius of a WR prospect in the 4th rd (boring). Thanks!!

I’m new to dynasty and they taught me so much about valuing a player and flipping picks. Building your team to win now and understanding some players don’t have a win your week upside but are safe.

They seem like decent people. There’s just multiple shows with better content. Nothing to see here.

I love this podcast as no other group dives into the dynasty realm in all formats as these guys do. The subscriber content is unequalled. Tim- is Cairo Santos back? Haha

I've been listening since who knows how long and they've helped me create a powerhouse team in every league I'm in. Only problem is they make me feel a little dumb for not getting how simple it should be. Now question: we know draft position matters, and the Vikings traded a fifth for him, but with them cutting him and the Jets now releasing him, is now the time to buy low on Kaare Vedvik? @wally_notmelvin

Without being too long-winded here, I started listening to UTH just after the 2014 rookie draft. The free show is solid and the paid content is even better. This is the one podcast I DON'T tell my friends I listen to because I don't want to share the great advice! Keep it up Chad, Jordan, Katie and Tim.

This used to be a go to podcast for dynasty, with great weekly content and to the point analysis. It has now turned into a get to know you pod where they talk about nothing and direct you towards their paid engagements. The older show was great and now it’s basically impossible to listen to.

The content is pretty good though it seems like they’re a bit in a hardcore bubble and turn their nose up at people who are more casual. The audio quality is all over the place and it doesn’t seem like they edit it at all. A coughing fit doesn’t make for good content nor is people realizing they missed context and then having to be caught up.

Lastest podcast is titled "The Future of Dynasty Football". Well the future should be IDP! My only gripe with your podcasts is the lack of IDP content. Let go of the goofy DEVY stuff, the lame Super-Flex. The dumb TE-Bonus or whatever. How can you play Dynasty without IDP. That's Bush League.

The podcast has some great stats and info on deeper dynasty players. Their trade advice however is really bad. They are always encouraging to buy players way cheaper than possible and telling everyone to sell players well above what anyone would ever pay.

I've been playing dynasty for about 4 years now with another 4 of redraft before that. Prior to 2018 season, I would listen to just about every fantasy football podcast whether it was redraft or dyno-related (Fantasy Footballers, DLF, Dynasty Blueprint, Dynasty Nerds, Harris Football, RotoUnderworld, etc). It's safe to say I'm a ff junkie. But when it came to fantasy advice, I always seemed to break ties towards whatever UTH recommended. My personal and professional life really took off this last year and podcasts became less of a priority. Since I already gravitated towards the approach, I decided to go all-in on UTH. I've been more than happy with the results. Not only did I finish with the most titles/money finishes throughout my years of playing ff, but fully investing in one approach (opposed to the "shotgun-approach" of multiple, differing viewpoints) I developed a better process and a real sense of direction for my teams. I can't recommend these guys (and Katie) enough. Chad has personally helped me with a start-up draft and I had a strategy session with Jordan where we just talked about trends and roster-building for almost an hour! --Sid

These guys have been going strong as one of the top dyno pods out there. Great info while never sliding off what they believe in.

This podcast is good but if you get the premium service, the podcasts are fantastic. Service pays for itself.

GREAT content and very knowledgeable and helpful, but man the audio quality is terrible! The two hosts have different volume levels so you can hear one and the other makes your ears bleed! (Also random loud scratching noises) Honestly drives me insane please fix this it would make it much more enjoyable to listen to!

The audio quality is terrible. Constant static and scratching when the hosts are talking back and forth. I tried to hold out long enough for them to fix their problem but it’s not getting better. The content is ok.

Guys, I love the podcast! The information is great. As a dynasty owner, it’s refreshing to have a podcast dedicated to this type of league. My only beef with the podcast is the audio. Chad’s soft spoken voice combined with Katie’s loud voice makes it hard to listen to. I find myself having to turn the volume up when Chad talks and way back down once Katie starts. Please fix this as this is the only hiccup with the entire program!

Great show and true expert!

There was once a wonderful time, when no one knew about this line of thinking, and I could make Calvin Johnson (2015) for Mike Evans and a first type moves constantly. Now these turds got all known and my shenanigans are surrounded in constant kerfuffles.

This WAS my favorite podcast. Not anymore. What was once an hour of packed invaluable advice and strategy is now 30 minutes of generic tidbits and then some 'get to know you' type junk about the hosts favorite color or life story. Why? I get it, your saving the good stuff for the premium shows but with so many other podcasts to choose from, this has gone from a must listen to a whenever I have time. Total shame.

There are those fantasy FB podcasts that you listen to mainly for entertainement and there are those that you listen to for content and this is the latter. The analysis that Chad and his crew put out is unique (at least it was, but now a lot of others are realizing its value and following suit) and I guarantee will make you a better dynasty player. - Krystal -
