I want to love this. It inspired us to buy loads of Trivia Pursuit cards, shuffle them, and leave them around the house. We love trivia! But the more we have listened to, there is way less trivia. Episode 281 was story after story. It is exhausting to listen to and just not what it used to be. This season also feels inconsistent with its release date.

Karen, Colin, and Chris have been “friends” of mine for years, yet they don’t know I exist. They love what they do which is evident by the joy in their voices as they discuss the week’s topic. Let’s hope Dana makes an appearance from time to time! If they read this, thank you for being a bright spot in an otherwise dim period of life. You guys are awesome.

The best podcast ever to be made. I enjoy every episode, it cheers me up and makes me laugh when I need it most. Karen ISN’T annoying, all of the hosts are amazing and add so much. Please come back, we need you.

my life was better before this podcast

I loved this show so much before the hiatus, and would check almost weekly, then monthly for a return. I guess I just missed it during the pandemic but I can’t be mad about a torrent of tantalizing trivia to tickle my thinker’s timpanies. Some of the best trivia out there.

Absolutely love this podcast, but the sound levels make it difficult to listen to sometimes, especially in the car. One of them is usually significantly louder or quieter, Chris always sounds like he’s in a tin can, and there’s generally never a consistent volume across the board. Please please please fix this! Everything else about this show is perfect.

I just finished listening to the last episode. I found this podcast months ago and have been listening as I drive between patients’ homes for work. I have been a little obsessed and now anytime I provide some information about a random subject my family just says ‘you learned that from your podcast, right?’ I enjoy the trivia and I feel like I know you all by now. Thanks for putting this out there and I look forward to new episodes in the spring.

Always been consistently darn entertaining! Fun, goofy, hugely informative. Just know, little mistakes need occasional purging! Questions, responses, smooth trivia. Usually very wonderful. eXcellent, you Zoomers!

The alliterations were fun for a while. Now it makes me cringe every time the show starts and I have to convince myself not to turn it off. We’re all impressed that you can pull words from the same section of a dictionary to make a ridiculous sentences. It takes more than having nouns and verbs in their proper places to make a sentence that people want to hear. And turn down Karen’s microphone! (Or off, if you can—bring back Dana!)

This show is the show that I always start out recommending to people who haven’t really gotten into podcasting bc there is NO WAY that they won’t like it. It’s like the cool rock that you found on the beach that you know will illicit an “ooooHhhooohhh” when showing people 👏🏼 👏🏼

I definitely miss Dana, but to the previous reviewer that said they can’t stand Karen, I say to you what my every adult ever said to me as a child. If you don’t have something kind to say, say nothing at all. Stop being another mean person on the internet. Karen, you’re an incredible host. You kill it every episode. I have listened to the whole series and love learning from y’all.

I have been listening to this show from the beginning. Back then, I was working a job that was mental torture. I got permission to wear headphones and discovered Good Job, Brain!, and other fantastic podcasts (99% Invisible was recommended on the show, THANK YOU!) My life changed dramatically. Work became enjoyable. Over the past decade+, this blessing of a podcast has been with me through the otherwise torture of my job at the time, maintaining the daily responsibilities of domestication, long commutes, nearly the entire duration of raising my now 13 year old (who likes to listen with me), grieving the death of my husband (has since been 5yrs), and many more. I’ve listened to the entire catalogue too many times to count. The hosts feel like friends. There voices are very comforting. I actually don’t mind doing the dishes (no dishwasher), which I would otherwise despise, because I can listen to GJB. I struggle with anxiety, which has intensified since the passing of my husband. For me, GJB is an incredibly effective and invaluable coping skill, for which I am grateful. P.S. so bummed that Dana’s gone 😭

This podcast is the absolute best- the hosts are funny, the trivia is fun, and I always walk away feeling like I learned something. I often listen with my husband, my mom or even my younger nephews who love hearing about different foods, how wild different animals are. I highly recommend this podcast for road-trips, family fun vacations, or just driving your kids to school. 10/10

This is the best of the best. If you are into learning there are extremely well researched topics discussed during every episode along with, of course, trivia. The trivia is mainstream and things I want to know. I can even answer a few! Some trivia programs use trivia of such obscurity because they need to stump the experts on the show. Give it a few episodes and you will get hooked! Good Job Good Job Brain

Words can not express the joy I felt when I realized (unfortunately, a year later) that Good Job, Brain is back making episodes. GJB was my absolute favorite show to listen to for a very long time, and when it stopped suddenly, I was very sad. But eventually when I assumed it was gone for good, I unsubscribed. Fast forward a handful of years later, and I accidentally saw something that announced they were back - and I have a years worth of back episodes to catch up on, SO EXCITING. After listening to a few episodes so far, it’s as if you all never left. Such a seamless transaction back into making episodes. And my god, the quizzes and the banter are as fun as ever. Please don’t ever leave again! Best podcast ever.

This podcast would be so fun if they would sit in the right places! The volume is all over the place. The person reading the questions sounds a million miles away and other people sound like they’re shouting. Wanted to like this but it got too annoying to constantly adjust the volume in the car!

While on my walk at lunchtime I’m listening to the lost episode as the GJB team asks about NBA sponsorship specifically who is sponsored by Harley Davidson. Low and behold Im walking past the Harley Davidson museum in Milwaukee. Your timing is impeccable.

I was very sad when Good Job Brain went “missing “ for an extended period and was thrilled when they returned. Love all 4 awesome hosts and really appreciate the male/female balance. My only real complaint is that their new seasons are too short. This is the only podcast that I have routinely listened to more than once (the way I console myself whenever they go absent.) Love the show format. The all quiz shows are my favorites but I learn something new and fun on every episode. A must for anyone who loves trivia and enjoys learning really weird facts! Their topics are generally very well researched but I admit (as a retired health care professional) I have found myself cringing a bit sometimes when they venture into medical topics. If they ever wanted to add a 5th member to their awesome team, I would recommend a Baby Boomer with extensive experience actually living through 1900 mid-century pop culture and with medical expertise. Think that addition to the team might make them totally invincible at pub trivia. BTW, I am available for the job…

I've been listening to Karen, Dayna, Chris, and Colin for years and have learned so much with their podcasts. It's even inspired me to start a trivia friend group of my own! The facts I learn from the pod always help me look smart in conversations too, haha! I was a little sad that they stopped making the podcast for awhile there, but I'm so glad they started back up again! This is seriously my favorite podcast of all time and I hope the never stop uploading! Thank you guys!!!

Ever since I discovered them in 2016, this group of friends have been my favorite to listen to and learn from. Their energetic, lighthearted banter never leaves me bored and their trivia and stories always teaches me something new. I’m so happy they’ve returned to making podcasts, here’s to the next 200!

I am THRILLED that there are new episodes! The new shows feel exactly the same as the “first season,” and I can’t wait to hear the rest. I’ve been listening while shopping and getting my vaccine, and I’m so glad everyone’s wearing a mask so no one sees me grinning to myself about every joke. 😂 When GJB took a hiatus, it left a hole in my brain that I did not adequately fill until I discovered Ologies with ol’ Dad Ward at the start of the pandemic. Please, oh please, get GJB and Alie Ward in the same Zoom call for SOMETHING.
