coolerking71Late to the Party & Couldn’t be HappierI only started really listening to podcasts over the last few years. Didn’t even occur to me that this show might be out there, but I‘m so glad it is & that I now have so many episodes to binge on! TZ is my favorite show from when I was a kid & a local TV station in Houston broadcasted either 2 shows or 1 of the 4th season shows on Saturday afternoons. I have a couple of the books I‘ve already heard mentioned & a dvd collection from a few years back with lots of great content from cast & crew. In addition to everything else that makes the show great, I‘ve noticed that my relationship to the show & which episodes I connect with has changed over the years. Anyway, thanks so much for the great content & thoughtful discussion! Cheers!

AFlorableEntertaining and well researched!Everything you could want from a Twilight Zone podcast. Sounds great, Tom’s voice is professional sounding and calming, and the inclusion of Twilight Zone music bits really adds something. The extra long Nightmare at Twenty Thousand Feet episode goes above and beyond. There are some ads now, but they aren’t too long. There is a Patreon to support this podcast as well! I always look forward to new episodes, including the occasional ones where he reads the story on which the episode was based. Cannot recommend highly enough!

K.VanhouttenGreat podcast! If you’re a fan of the twilight zone listen to this podcast. Very well researched and calming to listen to.

escaudrey8989Love this podcastI adore this podcast. I have loved the twilight zone since I was a child. An English teacher showed us “the monsters are due on maple street” and I have been hooked ever since. I love how Tom pieces together interviews and moments from the show with his view of the episode. It is clear he is a Serling fan and it’s like hearing a well informed discussion from another fan. I am starting from the beginning in 2023 and enjoying this so much. Clearly this is a labor of love, thank you Tom!

JoeMama's frogEstablishes a wonderful cultureTom Elliot has already established his place within Twilight Zone culture. Well-researched, a spirit of inquiry, and a wonderful connection with the audience—these are just a few of the reasons why The Twilight Zone Podcast will remain a go-to companion for those who are familiar with Rod Sterling’s landmark show and for those who are discovering it for the first time.
-
GoJimmer!!!!Tom, still getting caught up. Your rebuttal here to Dan is brilliant! Very thoughtful and well executed. Will keep listening.

ChachacitaWish I found this soonerI grew up watching Twilight Zone. I’ve since introduced my kids to it and it’s a truly timeless show. This podcast is an absolute gem. I’ve listened to many podcasts on my favorite shows, some are better than others. This one is by far and away the best. So well done. Highly recommend it.
-
Alh12115PhenomenalI found this podcast after watching the Twilight Zone episode The Obsolete Man. I wanted to hear someone else’s opinion of it. I soon found myself binging every episode of this podcast. Well done!! I absolutely love this show!

Jordon PetersonQuestionIf Rod Sterling wrote an episode about FDR coming back as a zombie, could he walk? Asking for a friend.
-
SunnySideUoJamesFor Twilight Zone loversA wonderful examination of the Twilight Zone including fascinating tidbits and extras and anecdotes which will increase your enjoyment of the Twilight Zone. Wonderful host.
-
dinky-dumblesThe only TZ podcast for a true fanWell researched and thoughtfully presented. Tom carefully breaks down each episode and discusses the high points and short comings honestly and respectfully. Can’t wait for season 5!
-
crisfantomUnmatched and Top ClassTom Elliot is by far one of the greatest assets to the twilight zone universe. Not only is he tediously detailed and well researched to his craft but is eternally and genuinely grateful for all support. He allows the fans to interact on the pod as well. He featured my recorded recap on “Among the Untrodden” episode, and I couldn’t have been more shocked and appreciative. Good job and congrats on all the hard work and success Tom! - Chris

Sierra Hotel WhiskeySurface CriticOur host, Tom, claims to be a surface critic and I concur. This is a good thing: he makes much sense, leaves me not scratching my head in confusion, and is a pleasure to follow.
-
wilbur hatchGreat Podcast Tom!Look forward to all your TZ podcasts. Marc Zicree comes off like a pompous S.O.B though. He is obviously very knowledgeable but comes across really bad in this interview.
-
lovebeutjOld TZ fan, new Tom fan!I look forward to every new episode of this podcast while still catching up on the old ones. I appreciate the "behind-the-scenes" information as much as I do Tom's take on each episode. As a forever fan of The Twilight Zone and Rod Serling, I am thrilled to have a new (to me) podcast for intelligent conversation about all the episodes as well as facts about its creator. Thanks so much!
-
Paddler SGreat Travel CompanionTom, you do a incredible job with giving details of each episode. Thank you for your hard work for all of us who are fans of the Twilight Zone. Traveling to North Georgia to go paddling boarding tomorrow and I'm looking forward to having you along. Steve T

Odonata28TThank you!I have been enjoying this podcast so much. I love the trivia and the stories. I only discovered it last year, and I’ve been slowly catching up. Each episode discussion takes me back to the show. I also love hearing about the actors and Rod Serling.
-
IhatesnakesJock!Do a Tower of Terror episodeAwesome podcast for those who love science-fiction and the Twilight Zone. I just have one request: Please do an episode where you talk about the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride at Walt Disney World. It would be awesome.
-
Lynott GeniusComplete Delight! One of the best voices in broadcasting (not merely podcasting), Tom is an evergreen gift to pop culture junkies everywhere. As a TZ neophyte just now executing a deep dive on the original series, I treasure his balance, composure and insight when it comes to this ever-evocative series. There is a lot of TZ commentary out there, but I can’t imagine a better place to start. Cheers from Nashville!!! Steve Peake
-
JaLynneBanksGolden DelightI’ve blown threw all the episodes! The twilight zone podcast is my go to while at work. This is probably the first review I’ve ever left, but Tom deserves it! Currently restating the podcast from the beginning. For someone who’s a huge fan of the twilight zone, I love hearing all the trivia that I didn’t know before, along with Toms voice. If your a twilight zone fan you NEED this podcast!
-
markman73Fantastic!As a fan of all things Twilight Zone, I can't say enough about this podcast. Tom is great to listen to, and he goes so in depth on each episode. It's simply the best podcast on the best show of all time.

Heidi Heidi ✨🛌 Sleepytime tea in podcast form! 💜This podcast is as soothing as Boss Ross episode. I put it on before I go to bed and I am instantly relaxed. I also learned so many Twilight Zone facts. This podcast is done in love of the show you learn about what went into an episode from the actors, what the episode is based on, Rob Sterling & other information relative to the episode. Podcast reviews anything related to the Twilight Zone from the movie to the video game! I’ve also gone back and watched episodes of the TV show I skipped b/c the podcast made it more interesting than I thought it was.
-
TrivialcommentsReally Well Done!I’m a lifetime TZ fan but I just discovered this podcast a few weeks ago. How did I miss this?! It’s great! I can’t get enough of it. Tom creates articulate and well-thought out assessments of every episode. What a pleasure. When each podcast ends I’m actually sad. I want more! Thank you so much, Tom. Your work is really essential. Much appreciated.
-
Eddie in HaymarketTom does it best!I discovered Tom’s podcast about a year ago. I love the background and personal thoughts he gives on each episode. His readings of certain episodes such as the Howling Man were very entertaining. After hearing his read of the Howling Man, seeing the actual Twilight Zone episode was a little disappointing, but I know Rod Serling had limited time to tell the story. The guest interviews and listener’s comments are a great addition to the podcasts. Keep up the good work Tom! Cheers!
-
uptoolate64A+ Binge worthy! Not only the TZ episodes... but Tom’s insightful coverage of the backstory and little-known details has me binging TZ again and again. Plus, Tom’s soothing style and delivery is so relaxing. I dare not listen whilst driving tired! Awesome podcast Tom! Loving everything streaming second of it!
-
ejm4packExcellent TZ Companion ShowI've been thoroughly impressed with the care and attention to detail that Tom puts into the show each episode. I recently discovered this podcast as I started a full rewatch of the original series, so it's been fun and enlightening to listen to each episode as I go along. I am looking forward to following through the entire series, along with all the special episodes and Night Gallery companion show as well.
-
MWarriorExcellent Content, Production, And PresentationLike Rod Serling, this podcast is unique and entertaining. I especially appreciate Tom’s consistent attention to detail. Great host!
-
Lobsterman92Must listen for any twilight zone fan!I’ve been listening to the Twilight Zone Podcast for about a year now, and it’s excellent! Tom does an exceptional job reviewing each episode and doing research on the actors, film locations, and trivia from each episode. His podcast is also chock full o’ interviews, recordings, and other goodies. I especially love the historical aspect that Tom adds in. ROD WOULD BE PROUD!! I highly recommend this podcast for any level Twilight Zone fan!! Sincerely, Jake Eaton Dover, New Hampshire, USA

Alexander GatesIt’s All Here....in the Twilight Zone PodcastFor any fan of the Twilight Zone, there simply isn't a better podcast. The host Tom Elliot clearly loves the show and history around it, episodes were well researched. I love the late night voice intonation while talking about our favorite creepy show. The supplemental episodes such as short story readings are fun. I appreciate him covering the new CBSAA version of the show as well, with the same respect and fun as the original.
-
FrankCap99Submitted for your approval...Like one of the episodes of the Twilight Zone, where people recapture the nostalgia of by gone era - Tom Elliot captures our attention like a comfortable, warm blanket. Tom’s lush, measured tone of voice is the perfect soothing remedy for the harsh real world. With this pod, we can escape the world and slip back to the greatness of the Twilight Zone and all its ramifications. Tom is thorough and well informed on all things Zone. This is always a pleasure to listen to. No matter the quality of that weeks episode, Tom’s work is never lacking.

jasonproperThe BEST there isThis is the definitive Twilight Zone Podcast. If you want to feel like your watching the Twilight Zone again for the first time or you want a companion as you watch through the series this is your podcast. Tom Elliot becomes your own personal modern version of Rod Serling guiding you along. It’s The Twilight Zone and so so much more.
-
Lucha KaijuExcellent Twilight Zone PoscastEdit 12-25-19 This is a superb show examining the world of the Twilight Zone and the genius of Rod Serling. Lots of behind the scenes information of the making of the shows, the actors and the backstory on the creation of each episode. Also we get concise discussion of the episodes and their interpretation. References to books, interviews and other sources really makes this show stand out. The show acts as a bit of a documentary on each episode, but the host posits that the show is an exploration of his own lifelong interest in Serling’s work, and TZ in particular. The host has created an excellent ambiance that suits the material and the shows are pitch perfect. This is just what a podcast should be and we are lucky to have it. Give this show a listen and you won't be let down. The show has expanded to include interviews with TZ authors, experts, and has done a superb job with the new 2019 series. Listener feedback has fostered a community of fans of the show who share perspectives on the episodes, with respect for each other and the material. This is the standard bearer of my podcast feed and has been for years now. Cheers!!
-
Guru of AwesomenessA Blast From the PastThis is one hell of a Podcast well done bravo!! I stumbled across this and I am so glad I did. I grew up watching this.
-
Heather C SD5 stars for the 5th DimensionFantastic podcast for fans of The Twilight Zone with interesting backstory for each episode. Tom thoughtfully researches and respects the genius of Rod Serling and this wonderful classic show revealing what a genuine treasure it was and always will be.
-
BWG aka Jay the Big White GuyGreat overall presentationI have been listening for awhile and really love the well thought of podcast. He takes his time and gives you a lot of facts and background that is very entertaining. Thanks again Tom. Your podcast is great.
-
jimmyolsenExcellent Twilight Zone podcastI just came across this podcast and I wish I’d found it 8 years ago when it started! I’m a huge Twilight Zone fan and always love finding more information about the show. Upon first listening to the podcast I first thought Tom’s voice was too smooth or low energy to hold my interest, but it really grew on me and his research is phenomenal so the content is excellent, and his mellow manner is enjoyable. My only quibble is, starting from the beginning years later, I’m having to listen to the early episodes from the website because clicking on them in the Apple podcast list causes the app to crash.
-
ThedarkjediknightGreatest Twilight Zone Podcast Ever! The mix of commentary and music is great. It pulls you in, and never lets you go. A mix of classy fandom that’s added to the lore The Twilight Zone. Great job Mr.Tom, great job.
-
LunadappaLast episode blurry manI really love your show and wanted to say I just finished watching the last episode 🤗I loved it😃great ending to season one can’t wait to hear your review (I did guess who blurry man was gonna be😁) Lorna
-
DoctorSamsonJust discovered this showSo excited to watch the entire series and follow along with this great podcast. I’m still in season one, and it’s so fun to watch a few episodes and then get all the background info and analysis from the pod.
-
SouthpawSSUsed* to be goodTom does a great job in the early episodes of the podcast in bringing those old Twilight Zone episodes to life. He goes through them and gives a great breakdown, history, and review of the episode. Mixing in clips of the episode and really turning up the nostalgia of when I was a kid and used to love watching them. Then he started doing the new episodes. Now this podcast has become trash like those new episodes are trash. I’ll continue to listen to the old episodes. New episodes are terrible.
-
TronBlasterThe Gold StandardTom’s Twilight Zone podcast isn’t just the best Twilight Zone podcast out there, it sets the pinnacle that all television recap podcasts should strive for. Tom’s in-depth research and silky smooth delivery make for an almost zen-like listening experience. The interviews, short story readings, and other bonus content just make an already top-notch podcast even better. I’ve especially enjoyed listening to the new episode recaps soon after I’ve watched one of the Jordan Peele eps for the first time. Keep up the great work, Tom, and thank you!!
-
Chris SiskaMy favorite podcast!I absolutely love The Twilight Zone Podcast— unfortunately, my passion and love for Rod Serling/The Twilight Zone is unique in my family and friends group, so I don’t really have the opportunity to talk about episodes (new and old) with anyone. Tom fills that void perfectly and every episode seems like I’m having a deep and meaningful conversation with a friend about one of my favorite television series. Amazing work, Tom! Thank you for your hard work and dedication on this podcast. If you ever find yourself in Chicago, the pizza is on me!
-
Bob from Evanston, ILMy favorite podcastTom’s passion, excitement and commitment to The Twilight Zone is passed on to his listeners. He is extremely fare in letting those with other points of view share their ideas. And he does all this without commercials. Well done, Mr. Elliot!
-
Jake NukerPerfectionI have been a Twilight Zone fan since I was a teenager. I am a fanatic about the series. I found Tom Elliot's podcast a couple of years ago and I learned SO much it was crazy about a series I thought I knew like the back of my hand. Tom is meticulous in his research. He does not miss a detail but unlike other podcasts he does not allow the details to obscure the beauty of the series. He is a true blue fan with intellect, wit, prose and one of the most distinctive delivery of any podcaster in the business. I am now a true blue fan of Tom Elliot. Thank you, Tom, for sharing your passion with all of the Zone fans and for keeping Rod Serling's dream alive and well in your more than capable hands. From Tracey Danine
-
A Horror FanA shameI have given this podcast three episodes to get back on track, and it seems that this has now become the TZ 2019 show. That is not what I signed up for. It saddens me to unsubscribe, but I won’t add clicks or downloads to a show that has veered from its purpose.
-
barney copterAs classy as the timeless show itselfNot merely an exceptionally well-produced, deeply researched labor of love exploring the many dimensions of Rod Serling’s television classic, but the all-around epitome of thoughtful podcasting. Tom Elliot is profoundly respectful both of his illustrious subject and of his community of listeners, whose dedication speaks to the great appeal of his approach. The care and craft evident in every episode of The Twilight Zone Podcast (and in its highly recommended patron-only bonus material) make for a deeply and consistently rewarding experience.
