iAmKatya(Kah-Tee-ya)Watermelon:why am I in itThe trope came in full force when slaves won their emancipation during the Civil War. Free black people grew, ate, and sold watermelons, and in doing so made the fruit a symbol of their freedom. Southern whites, threatened by blacks’ newfound freedom, responded by making the fruit a symbol of black people’s perceived uncleanliness, laziness, childishness, and unwanted public presence.

CJPhrekFreeloaders are missing out!I became a Patreon just for Saturday shows like this, aside from The Black Guy Who Tips which got me listening to this show, I had to become stop being a freeloader! Randolph and Andy keep the mind sharp and the jokes flowing and aside from TBGWT, the best collection of joyful black intellectuals with a hearty side of ratchet!

El Blaco McFlyGood PodcastEntertaining podcast. Mark is great and so are the guests. I'd have given it 5 stars but Terrance is annoying. Constantly interrupting and talking over others.

Mizzou DougLook forward to every drop3GO hits you with real, honest, and hilarious conversation about what is going on around us. What started as 3 comedians in the DC Metro has evolved into 2 mainstays in Randolph and Andy with rotational guests that usually mean something more like 3 guys and a gal or 4 guys, but don’t let the name catch you. And the rotation seems to have thinned to a more consistent lineup over the last several months. If you want to listen to something that will make you laugh, make you think, and even piss you off a little bit sometimes, this is your joint. I have been listening for years and there is nothing stale in their formula. Props to them for continuing to push content that is fresh. I also love when they veer off into talking about hip hop since I have been listening to hip hop since around 1989. This is an intelligent conversation, but brutally blunt. Sometimes you see reviews for podcasts or music where the reviewer says something along the lines of “It takes a little while to warm up to”. That was not my experience when I found 3GO. If you have not checked this pod out, one show will probably tell you if you will like this. Not everybody likes the same stuff, but I will tell you there is a much higher likelihood if you are open minded enough to check it out, you will love it. Thank you fellas and Karen for putting yourself out there for the enjoyment of all of us. It is appreciated. @doubledownbust

Richardintx.Smart, funny and thought provoking. My favorite podcast! Andy and Randolph challenge their listeners, guests and our perceptions of the streams of news that effect our culture and our history. Karen and Rod are one of the few bright spots in the pandemic (@theblackguywhotips). I liked Rod on twitter, but he and Karen 🔥…

amodataLong Time Freeloader in Good StandingSo I've been listening to TGO for I don't know, several years. Podcasts came into my life after sort of wrecking my car because I nodded off to sleep while driving. I looked for comedy podcasts to keep me awake while behind the wheel. Andy, Randolph, Tim, puppet nation and the gang gang have kept me alive in these streets. The show that had me busting a gut so hard was the one where Andy was talking about Jesus hands on the cross and it would need a panoramic picture setting. Randolph was away. I think it Andy, Dominic, Romaine and Mike B just going off on all kind of nonsense. I laughed so hard. The zoom shows, though I catch them after the fact as a freeloader on Thursday, are so fun with the audience chat and rotating guest - TGO has grown into its own. Andy, what about that merch? This freeloader wants and will buy a tee-shirt. V-neck, female cut preferred.

mathgirl2010I am an adopted 3GO memberI found out about this show from The Black Guy Who Tips. I have been listening for about a year since I had my twins and have been home recovering. This show has a great community and It feels like my friends (in my head) are around talking to me. I would love the free year so I can listen to the whole show while I am at home raising my babies. TBGWT and 3GO gang gang, love y’all.

Uncle EbeneezerMost Dope ShowI discovered TGO after hearing Andy and Randolph on TheBlackGuyWhoTips podcast last year and have been a big fan ever since. Recently became a Patreon subscriber because nobody likes Freeloaders. They are almost as bad as people who won’t get vaccinated. Anyways, it is a really fantastic show with a hilarious group of regular contributors. Whether they are discussing comedy, politics, Covid, systemic oppression, sports, movies, food, air-fryers, hoteps, Karen videos or PAWGS it’s always interesting and fun. Really one of the best podcasts out there.

AntiguaposseLove itI'm active duty military stationed in Guam, and in My job I'm the only black guy so you guys help me make it through the day. I get funny looks when I'm blasting you around the office but who cares. Keep up the great work, definitely gonna make a contribution to the tip jar this year.
-
RemisoxTBGWT brought me here, and I'm glad it didLove the podcast. Gives a black and multiracial perspective with the hosts and guests they have as sit-ins. It's not politics, it's not pop culture; it's both these plus more, wrapped up in comedy and delivered by the comedian hosts. Keep doing what you're doing!
-
Cassie YNMComedy with a ConscienceLove these guys! Their agility with balancing tough and timely topics with wit and well-placed comedic timing is next level.

FunnyPRladyEpisode 616Phenomenal show! Hilarious, socially conscious show filled with relatable life stories and enlightened points of view. Will definitely be listening from now on!
-
Phatness2kFunny chill barbershop talk.Listened to episode 616. Had me laughing hard with "black-xplaining" and son had to text to keep it down in the bedroom. IMO, I'm not a big political issue guy, so it got dry with those topics for me but picked up on the "comedy" with book topics. Good show, will listen again.
-

aprylmc3 men kinda rightI heard you from tbgwt a couple of times and decided to take a listen. Wonderful group of guys that will start on one topic (the passing of a family member and end up on a hoodie that looks like armor!) I'm all in for their insightful conversations that make me laugh and get me through my workout. (I have learned not to lift weights while listening for safety reasons) thanks for having such a great podcast!

WashEm82Perfect Comedy Podcast.

JazzfinityThe kind of conversation I can get with!Man what an awesome podcast. I have been listening to Randolph, Andy, Sometimes Tim and The Sock Puppets for a couple of years now. These guys are seriously interesting and entertaining (you really do need both). I don't necessarily agree with their opinions all the time, but if I did there would be no value add. Besides, if you agree with me all the time you are probably not that bright. This podcast brings news, enlightenment and sometimes some well placed ignorance to my life. Cause sometimes you just gots to be ignut!! Keep bringing it brothers. When I make the Florida to ATL drive by myself in a couple of weeks you guys will be riding shotgun.
-
durangodougThink you're betta than me?!Easily one of the funniest podcasts for the past few years. Andy, Randolph, and Tim are three D.C area comedians who meet up and discuss their adventures. The podcast always goes deeper as they cover current events (some big, some small) and all provide their opinions. The funniest moments are usually when the guys discover an audio clip that becomes a running/inside joke for several episodes. Listen to the show here before XM picks them up.
-
BGDJ6193 Guys That Bring The Funny! You have never laughed so hard. This podcast will quickly move to the top of your lists! Randolp, Andy, Tim (and the Sock Puppet Nation) never cease to keep it coming twice a week with riffs, jokes, and their unique outlook on current events. 5 STARS!!
-
