daliwillisMarathon Talk Continues to Inspire and Inform!I have listened to Marathon Talk for years and have always enjoyed elite runner Martin Yelling and his inspiring weekly guests. Now with co-host Olympic medalist, Deena Kastor, Martin continues his friendly and engaging conversation on a whole new level. I learn so much every episode about the news in the world of athletics, get great training advice and enjoy interviews with uplifting athletes, coaches and fascinating figures in the marathon world. I look forward to each and every episode!!

RaychelBGreat subject but audio is roughThe poor audio needs to be addressed. Would be great to have a running podcast in the rotation but the poor sound quality makes this hard to listen

Steve WallenAddicted to the Britishness of this podcast!Love Martin and Tom (and Holly and Tony). I’ve learned so much and laughed so much and now speak with a British accent even though I’m from Indiana. Keep up the brilliant interviews, lads!

Tom N TrinaGreat ShowGreat pod for runners and all those interested in running/marathoning. Great guests and interesting/whitty/funny discussion. I have enjoyed listening on my commute and during long runs at times. Shocked there are only 86 reviews on iTunes! Great job!...update: listening to shows from the archive only serves to solidify my review!

bogglesthemind1Highly recommended!Tell your marathoning friends! This is a great resource for a huge range of marathoners from fast to not-so-fast. The guys are smart and supportive, and the interviews are always interesting. If you haven't already... run, don't walk to the back catalog and start listening. You'll be hooked in less than 2:03:23. (Or 2:15:25 if you're female.)

DC VanessaGreat podcast across the pondSmart show with great interviews. Fun to listen to. The discussions between Martin and Tom are really interesting and cover a wide variety of topics that I love thinking about.

AlbertlegrandRunning for the Intermediate & AdvancedTom & Martin offer what one might expect (!) in a show focussed on marathon racing: training tips, race reports, and interviews with running greats. They do this in a way that is fun, friendly, open, and engaging. What differentiates them is the attention they give to elite-professional performance and upper-level amateur performance. Both guys can run a 3-hour marathon (and better), and so can their recurring guest Tony Audenshaw (who does short pieces most weeks that are, by turns, very funny or very touching). The fact that Tom, Tony, and Martin and Brits lends the show extra entertainment value for me, as an American.

ShekiPeteInspiration from across the PondMartin and Tom do an amazing job of introducing me to new aspects of the running community. As a recreational marathoner, I appreciate the tips and tales from two guys who've logged the miles. There's an international feel to the show as well which underscores the universal appeal of running. We love you in Austin, fellas. Keep it up.

Jethro 3 SportGreat PodcastOne of my favorite long run companions. Forget the mindless chatter of my running companions, I would rather have a listen to Martin and Tom while I am putting in the miles. Humor, rants, raves, running tips and interviews with running legends. Thanks for the entertainment boys.

anidollNot just for marathons runners....I love this podcast because it inspires me! These guys interview different elite athletes and talk about training, give weekly news about races and racers... Its pretty great. I'm not planning on a full Marathon in the near future, but I still love this podcast. It keeps me interested and excited! I'm training for a few half and I find this great to listen to while I'm at the gym or in the car.

Mindbomb1973The Best Running Podcast out there!I started listening to Marathon Talk a few weeks ago and I've almost made it through the entire catalog! This is a very insightful, informative and entertaining podcast mixed in with some good running humor (Tony’s Trials). Martin and Tom are great hosts and line up incredible guests for interviews. Lot's of great advice and training talk for runners. I've told everyone of my running friends about the show and hope they like it as much as I do...Keep up the great work guys, I’m listener for life (or as long as you decide to keep podcasting)

TomCinKCThoroughly Enjoyable!Marathon Talk is a real treat to listen to while on my long(ish) runs. Every podcast I learn something and catch myself laughing out loud about something in the 'cast, usually Tony's Trials! I cannot recommend any higher. Subscribe, that's all you have to know!
-
Cousin ElwoodFlat-out awesomeAt last a runner's podcast for real athletes. The hope-to-break-four-hours podcasters should fold their tents and go home. These guys give advice and viewpoints that have relevance and they do it with both respect and humor... not to mention funny (British) voices. I'm hooked!
-
Dunc28480Highly entertaining and informativeThese podcasts are for runners of all standards and are highly entertaining and informative. I'd recommend you download them ASAP, once Tom and Martin realize they can probably charge for such great material they won't be free :) Keep up the great work.

Joerun48They Rant, They Rave... They Deliver the Best Running PodcastThese crazy Brits have simply the best running podcast out there. It's that simple. Each show is informative with great interviews, training talk, race results and reviews. They are funny and present the show in a warm friendly manner while delivering relevant and useful content. Much to learn from them. Keep up the good work gentlemen. Tony's Trials is even growing on me!

DanStar57Best Thing on iTunes Beside the BeatilesThis is simply the very best long distance running related podcast on iTunes. It is always informative, entertaining and motivating. Both Martin Yelling and Tom Williams love the topic and are deeply involved in the sport in many ways. Their interviews are consistently interesting as they not only learn about the subjects training methods but also get to know them as people. Anyone who has run a marathon, or aspires to, should subscribe to this podcast and listen to every episode.

meg runs alotEpisode 37Thanks to both of you for the WONDERFUL interview with Dr. Bond. I didn't want it to end. You asked her some very thoughtful questions and I don't think I've ever learned so much about the mental aspects of racing and moving through injuries. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am recommending this episode to others. I am also enjoying your updates with Liz. I enjoyed her interview a few episodes ago and this week's update was nice, although I do feel for her and her issues as she trains for Chicago. Keep these updates coming, please! Great coverage and interviews with women runners, I love it!! I'm also enjoying your marathon countdown, I'll be running NYC Marathon in November and every time you announce it, I get pumped and excited. YOU ARE BOTH DOING such a great job, keep it up and thank you so much!

Mark U1Great Running & Marathon-focused Podcast! As an experienced marathoner eager to expand my running-related podcast choices I was delighted to stumble on the "Marathon Talk" podcast a few weeks ago. After listening to their top-named professional interviews with Paula Radcliff and Ryan Hall (who were both exceedingly gracious and generous) I have since heard them all, and highly recommend the podcast to beginners or experienced runners. The hosts Martin Yelling and Tom Williams are both extremely knowledgeable and committed marathon runners and are experts regarding marathon training, racing tactics, psychology, nutrition - and consistently share their expertise within a highly entertaining format. While the show is produced from the U.K. the content will be of interest to all runners. Give the show a shot, and you'll be hooked too!
-
PartickRyanRunnerYour podcast is great! I'm about half way through them, sorry I'm a little late. I started running 18 months ago at age 30 and I'll hit my 5th marathon in 2 weeks with Team in Training LLS in San Diego! Maybe I can catch up with the rest of the podcasts on my way there from Kentucky. Keep up the good work!

runnerforgood jamimarathon talksThis is a fantastic new podcast. It is very informative and entertaining. I especially like the marathon specific training tips from the fast guys. The other podcasts can get a bit rambling of much to do about nothing but this podcast seems to have it down. Keep up the show. Cant wait for more jami from Florida USA
-
