I had a pastor during my teen years who said “Faith cometh by hearing…and hearing…and hearing…and hearing” He wasn’t wrong! This is my favorite place for hearing something true and authentic. Something that spurs you on to good works.

D. Thomas Lancaster is an excellent communicator and teacher. He is able to deliver complex and nuanced teaching in a way that is both enjoyable and easy-to-understand. I’ve been listening to this podcast going back to 2012 (from Beth Immanuel’s website), and I’ve yet to find a comparable Messianic Jewish as good as this one. 5/5 stars.

I love listening to you and find your messages very informative and encouraging. I liked and felt I got your message in The Balrog. All the same, I feel you undermined your message when you called holistic medicine practices quackery. It sounds like , “don’t bring your worldly passions to church, but here is my opinion on this subject”. This is not meant as a review, but feedback and not meant to advocate any specific viewpoints.

After 18 years in the Kingdom, one thing is clear to me: you can’t study the life and teachings of Yeshua apart from the culture, context and connection to the Torah and Jewish history. This has filled so many hollow gaps in my understanding of what the Bible says ... and much more importantly, why the Bible says what it says.

I adore the depths that Lancaster goes in these podcasts. I just want more. FFOZ should do a weekly podcast

I’m a big fan of first fruits of Zion and was very pleased to find these podcasts by Beth Immanuel. The leadership of this synagogue is also the leadership of FFOZ and their teaching is first class. My faith and learning have been greatly enhanced by DT Lancaster, et al. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5 is that the production quality of the podcasts is sometimes less than perfect. I understand that this is likely because they are sermons that are transcribed and NOT necessarily made FOR broadcast. I would have given 5 stars with an asterisk (aka a star!) Baruch HaShem!

I am new to the Messianic movement. While searching for a good educational podcast on Messianic Judaism, I found yours. I spend a large part of my day driving passengers from here to there and I wanted to share this Good News during my trips. Some passengers ask for the name of the podcast or simply thank me for sharing. I was a consummated Eastern Orthodox believer, but I always felt something was missing. There had to more about the original believers. I longed for a deeper understanding of my faith and the people onto whom we (Gentiles) are grafted. This podcast points to the Water that gives life! You fill in many of the gaps in my understanding of the Holy Scriptures and help me to see history through a Hebrew lens. This puts things in their proper context and straiten errant interpretations. I highly recommend this podcast for its teaching and overall quality of production. Thank you.

I always want to relisten to the Shabbat messages from Beth Immanuel. I finally have a phone with enough memory to do it!!! Life changing teaching!

I can honestly say that I draw closer to God and Jesus because of these teachings. Everything is about context and from there a passage and or idea / concept is expounded upon and not only is it it expounded upon its truly life giving.

This is my favorite podcast for Messianic teaching. I only wish it was updated weekly. Perhaps the two week wait develops patience. That can't be a bad thing. ;) Honestly, I love this community. I really enjoy the teachings of D. T. Lancaster. He is fresh, engaging and challenging. You will hear the truth of Hashem like never before and will challenged to be a true disciple of our Rebbe Yeshua.
