Joni has been used to bless me and put things in perspective at the right time in so many specific times after prayer and in so many circumstances! Praise be to God Almighty who continues to use this sister in Christ and speak and change my perspective as well as the perspective of one’s I know and thank our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior in it and through it all as He has “purpose in the pain”! I don’t have any disabilities, but I find myself in many of the same spiritual struggles that Joni does. Her ministry is wonderful— they provide instruction on how to minister to people with disabilities as well as how to start such a ministry in your own church. They also provide wheelchairs for people around the world. Can’t recommend this ministry enough.

Joni is a lamppost!

This is my favorite podcast. Joni has inspired me my whole life. As a child my attention was caught by the girl who could draw with her mouth. There was a kindness in her messages to children that was very tangible to my heart. I loved Joni and Friends on the radio back in the 90’s. Now I’m a mother and I delight to see my 11 year old daughter enjoy Joni’s podcast with me. Joni’s smile, that can be heard in her voice on the radio, through pain for the sake of Christ challenges me. I have no physical difficulties and neither do my children. I am humbled by Joni and pray for her.

This has been a joy to listen to as I get ready in the mornings. What a blessing Joni is to me!

Joni’s witness to truly trusting Jesus is bringing many hearts to Him!

My new daily habit.

I love starting my day with these hope-filled, encouraging, compassionate, Biblical podcasts. Even if you don’t live with disability, these are full of wisdom and encouragement.

My daughter had the opportunity to see you speak at Biola University and said you were very inspirational. Our pastor’s wife, Carlynn Fabarez, spoke about you during a recent women’s bible study. I am also in a wheelchair and enjoy reading your books. I would love to see you in person. Do you have plans to speak in Orange County, California sometime soon?

Every day I listen to Joni’s podcast and I am reminded how grateful I should be! Anytime I get down with my own problems, ailments and disappointments, I hear Joni being so thankful in spite of such hardships she’s had, and it makes me remember to be more grateful and think of ways I can serve others. It was no mistake I listened to Joni's message before getting out of bed this morning. It was God's grace that woke me and gave me time & ears to hear. I had planned on a pity party dealing with life's aches & hardships. Her message changed my mind, reminding me just how blessed I am. It's going to be a great day no matter what & I'm grateful. I wanted the scripture that Joni made references to ...I’m not sure it was the right chapter and verse? It sounded like Deut 3:3 or Deut 30:3 but neither one fits.😕

I listen with my sister. It helps connect us since we live far away. I’m thankful for this podcast.

I misplaced my earbuds the other day and almost in a panic! How was I going to hear Joni on my way to work?? What an uplifting spirit she has. God has blessed me - and I'm sure many others - through these 5 minute devotionals. Thank you, Joni, and thank you Lord!

I read Joni's first book when I was young, and I was amazed at all the things she could do (especially her beautiful paintings). She was inspiring then, and now that I've found her website/podcast, I'm more amazed! She's the President and CEO of an international ministry. She's a bestselling author, and an educator. But somehow I don't think the wheelchair recipients through Wheels for the World even know or care, nor do some of the Family Retreat participants. All they know is the compassion they have felt as a result of her willingness to be a vessel through which the Father's love could be shown. Thank you Joni (& Friends) for teaching us how to sing, even when we are sad, to help people with disabilities, whether we have "abilities" or not, and how to pray. Our lives are richer as a result.
