    Try it, you’ll like it!
This is a great podcast. Perfect balance of conversation and information. I love the yarn and project descriptions. They really help me with my own work. Plus, it’s funny 😆

    Miss your podcast
I love your podcast is it ever coming back?

A little more talk about knitting and crafting..
Skip the “woke” topics. This was supposed to be a crafting podcast. And try to complete a sentence without saying “like” and “totally” multiple times.

    Fun Conversation
I always enjoy this podcast and I love listening to Lee and Stacey chat about knitting (and sewing!) However, I wish someone would mention to Stacey that she is consistently mispronouncing “stockinette.” It’s so basic that it makes me question her knitting knowledge!

    Interview with Piece4Peace
Great interview with Michael! Thanks for all your podcasts at Knit Picks. I always learn something❣️

Love love love! Best knitting podcast out there!
I love the Knit Picks Podcast and the Knit Picks team. They are all so knowledgeable and make a knitting podcast really interesting. I always find myself laughing and learning something. Keep up the good work!

    Interesting podcast
This has it all. Tips and tricks. Great knitting suggestions. Helpful to know what yarn for which project. Enjoy this every time.

    Love is love is love…
I loved their products and used to look forward to this podcast. I cannot abide with Knit Picks support of ravelry‘s stance of spreading hate through political stereotypes. I will spend my money and time elsewhere, happily! Spread love, not hate!

    What happened?
This use to be a really good podcast, but a lot has changed. Where are the episodes? They use to be frequent and interesting now they are months apart with no rhyme or reason.

    Miss Kelly
Not at all the same as the beginning. Things can't always stay the same but this is a case where the new cast isn't any kind of improvement on the original.

Episode 236 has been my favorite episode so far! I live in Portland too and loved hearing you talk about it!

    Fun listen, but annoying dog
This podcast has lots of knitting information, interviews, and personal anecdotes. It's an enjoyable listen while knitting, just be sure to have pen and paper nearby to make a note of all the useful resources that Kelley mentions. Some of the "Meet the Employee" pieces drag on because not everyone is dynamic enough to hold listener interest, but it's easy enough to forward over those. The worst part of the podcast is the ear piercing dog yap at the end of the early podcasts.

I love this podcast. It a great one to watch while you knit.

    Highly Enjoyable!
Recently found this podcaster. What a nice surprise! Highly entertaining and informative!

    Fantastic!
This is actually the first knitting podcast I've ever listened to and is still my favorite. I've only been knitting for a couple of months but I find the information, especially the book reviews, very informative. I decided to start from the beginning and have not been disappointed. I also agree with one of the other reviewers about Kelly and her soothing voice. I have a hard time listening at work because then I'm itching to start knitting something. I'm still in the "square" phase of my knitting (dishcloths, scarves, throws) but when she starts talking about socks...I can't wait to get to the that phase of my knitting! Thank you so much for a great podcast (and a great webstore). Looking forward to future episodes.

    Surprise!
I initially avoided this podcast as I thought it would be a dry "how to". What a pleasant surprise! Every gentle, soothing episode reminds me why I've fallen in love with knitting and fiber in general. Kelley is a terrific host and the staff stories are tremendous. Top of my listening queue!

    Such a great knitting podcast
I really love this podcast. Kelly and her team from Knit Picks always give great information, I love hearing about all the new things that are coming out although it does make it hard for me to wait for the catalog to arrive in the mail. I have learned a lot listening to Kelly, not just about knitting, but also about weaving, and spinning. Thanks for all the great episodes, book reviews, interviews, and just general chatting about all things knitting, and fiber related. I have enjoyed many a laugh listening to the podcasts. Thanks for all you bring to my fiber world!!

    Fantastic!
The Knit Picks podcast has taught me so much - I love it - I listen and relisten to them while I work and enjoy it. It is great for new knitters and spinners and it is great for the experienced knitters and spinners.

    frustrated listener
I normally enjoy the Knit Picks podcast but I have to say I was extremely frustrated listening to Stephanie interview people at TNNA. When the person she was interviewing was answering questions, Stephanie interrupted with her own comments and when she wasn't interrupting she interspersed "yea" and "uh hmm", which wouldn't be bad but she did this when the other person was STILL TALKING! So rude and you could not hear the comments/answers of the other person. She certainly needs to learn some interviewing skills.

    I <3 Knit Picks!
Kelley does an excellent job with her podcast. Some reviewers have complained about her tone, but I think she's just trying to enunciate well and speak clearly. She loves knitting and loves spreading the word about how fun it can be. As a newer knitter, I find it inspiring and look forward to learning techniques (entrelac, intarsia, etc). Give this one a listen! She shines when she reviews books.

    Great information and enthusiasm!
Kelly brings great information for new and expereinced knitters alike. In the Overcoming Mistakes podcast I learned ALOT about how to fix my knitting without having to undo the whole thing! Well worth listening to while you knit!

Packed full of info for designers and knitters alike!
I've been listening to the KnitPicks podcast since I started knitting. Kelly and gang tals about their knitting, the business of knitting, and the process of designing knitware and yarn. I've learned so much from this podcast, from the history of knitting to how new yarns and colors are selected. Also, if you are a designer (or aspires to be one), I think you'll learn a lot from this podcast. I absolutely recommends this to everyone!

    Thanks for a great podcast
I could listen all day. Love this podcast. So educational!

    5star knitting podcast
I just found this! It is super! I love Kelly's voice. She is very relaxing. This podcast is almost always on topic (unlike another knitting podcast), interesting, and informative. I was a bit worried that it would be an infomercial- it was not that way at all. Keep up the great work and thank you!

Why does she talk like she is talking to children?
I really like this podcast, however, I cannot listen to the very first part where she talks like she is talking to a child. She says a word. word. word. word. word. The sentence does not just flow. I have noticed when she is talking with someone else, she talks just fine. So annoying!!

    Congratulations on the Spinning!
I am so thrilled that Knit Picks decided to market SPINNING !!! To be a great knitter -- you have to know your fibers and it is above the rest that you are educating more men & women about the art of it all. Good Luck Knit Picks! I am ordering a batt soon. The blend of the old (spinning) and the modern (online selling) can be great for the experienced and especially the beginner. Smooth and unique, yes!

Please don't end these pod casts!
I was thinking that something's wrong with my phone. I know this is low tech stuff, but please don't stop your podcasts! I have little access to other knitters. I love hearing people talk instead of just reading about knitting.

    Love this podcast!
But why isn't it weekly any more? Since February it has come out every 2 weeks! Update Jan 2011 - no podcast for 2 months! We miss you guys!

    knit Picks is my PICK!!
Best craft cast I have heard. This is the most informative knitting podcast I have heard. I listen to others, and this is the best. They detail topics that are relevant to knitting today. I do wish sometimes they had video casts for some of the techniques, maybe that’s coming soon. Thank you Knit Picks staff you do an awesome job both in the podcast and the website with the tips. I have told all of my knitting circle about the website and podcast. I appreciate how Kelly addresses every level of knitter, wven with her, as some have commented, her breaking tone, she still beats most others. Some of the tips are refreshers for the advances, and new information for beginners. All in all very good job!

    Great Podcast!!
I've been listening to Knit Picks Podcast for years. It gets better and better. I always learn something about knitting or fiber-related things. In addition to Kelly, there are top notch interviews with both popular authors and knitting world people but also conversations with her highly knowledgeable staff (which I very much enjoy). I can't recommend it enough.

    Relaxed and Soothing
I've been enjoying this podcast for over a year and just decided to write a review. Kelley is very passionate about fiber crafts and her enthusiasm is contagious. Great book reviews, yarn reviews, and fun interaction with the Knit Picks staff. :)

    Very passionate podcast
The passion for knitting and yarn literally oozes from this podcast. I absolutely love it! It is perfectly balanced with tips, techniqes, interviews, reviews, historical tidbits, products and personal knitting adventures. I listen to several knitting podcasts but this one is my favorite, hands down. Keep up the great job, Knit Picks!

Wonderful to listen to while knitting
It is a joy to listen to while I knit. Kelley has a wonderful calming voice. Love the book reviews. You will learn lots of stuff.

    Love this podcast!
Kelley is amazing! She is so smart, and makes it fun! I have learned so much from these podcasts!!
  • 1bizywoman
    Very informative without being pushy
You would think that since this is a podcast being produced by a company that sells knitting supplies that they would really puch their products. Kelley doesn't do that! They are mentioned, but other brand names are mentioned, too. I love this! It seems like more of a knitting podcast than a selling pitch - and that's what kelley does. It's an informative podcast about everything to do with knitting, whether it's fiber, books, notions, or other supplies or techniques, patterns, designs, or tips on how to save money! Loved that specific 'cast especially! And the story about Ms Eiderdown's sticking. PLEASE, please, PLEASE~ keep the podcast coming! Love them!

    Informative and fun
This is one of the first podcasts I ever found and I'll always listen to it and keep the most helpful and fun episodes. Kelley (and sometimes staff) offer extremely good information on a superb variety of topics related to yarn and knitting. There are book reviews and interviews and it's really a good resource. The only issue I have is the outright crochet distaste (one episode declared adamantly that 'crochet is not for garments') that comes from the host and the company. Crocheters just have to look past that and go for it if they want to use their yarns. That said, I think the information and variety still grant this one a 5 star rating. Check it out!
  • Jimmcnealy
    Great podcast!
Kelley does a wonderful podcast with varied topics. The guests are all ways informative and I usually learn something each episode.
  • GJarS
    Great
If you want to learn about knitting and enhance your skills, this is a wonderful podcast

    Well done!
Kelly is well informed and easy to listen to. I learn new things each time.
  • Melly Testa
    Well thought out and delivered
Kelley really enjoys what she does and it shows with each and every podcast. She looks forward to and gets excited about interviewing authors, is concise in her descriptives, and she really cares about knitting, yarn, spinning, dying and her fellow knitters. Beside that she loves to read other-than knitting books and drops great reading hints too.

content A+ delivery B- but improving?
i have long suffered kelley's delivery (she. talks. like. this. ) to get to all the great content she offers (esp. book reviews). i am happy to report more fluid, coherent speech patterns in a recent 'cast. it's never too late to improve!
  • Oatie
    Great podcast Kelley!
I LOVE the KnitPicks podcast and ALL things KnitPicks! Kelley is informative and fun to listen to. I always look forward to the next episode. Keep 'em coming!!!

    Just a little tedious
I've listened to Knit Picks for a while now, and lately I find that I'm a little bored with the podcast. There is a little too much chatter about technique. If you don't have the book or piece of knitting being discussed right in front of you, you're left out of the discussion. I still listen on occasion, but this podcast just isn't my favorite right now.

    Useful products
Kelley, I really enjoyed the show where you reviewed some of the products that knitters need and use and how Knit Picks made them more affordable. I am now using the hand held ball winder and today, I pulled out the blocking pads for some purse handles. It's so great to only have to use 3 pieces in a row to block the 2 small pieces instead of needing a whole huge board to complete the task. I'm really happy to hear Xena, saying good-bye at the end.

I very much enjoy listening to what is new with Knit Picks products and with the book reviews. Thank you to Kelley for all your hard work.

    Kelley Rocks
I absolutely love this podcast! I am a huge knitting fan, but Kelley manages to teach me something every time I listen in. I had reached a level of knitting blahs, but this podcast got me back on the circs! I didn't even know about knitpicks before this podcast - I just found it by accident...or fate... Just throw yourself in and listen to Kelley's soothing and informative voice, listen to her wonderful interviews, and take her advice on using steeks...I know I will!
