Who We Are Now with Izzy & Richard Hammond

In 2006 Richard Hammond broke his brain. The high-speed jet-powered car he was piloting crashed at 319mph… and the thing that stopped the car from rolling? That was his head. Richard’s been on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth ever since, and now, he’s on a mission to demystify and destigmatise conversations around masculinity, mental health, and the issues that affect us all, in a bid to discover who we are now. Joined by his co-pilot and grown-up daughter Izzy, they’ll dive into the worlds of mid-life crisis’, what makes a modern man, how to raise daughters, and even question what it means to be a little shorter than average... Join Richard and Izzy as they try to figure out Who We Are Now. For advertising opportunities on this podcast email: dax@global.com

So interesting and fun to listen to
Love the banter and so many amazing guests with great insights, not just for middle-aged men.

    Captain Slow!!
Great episode. I hope you have Jeremy on and even May as well and do a long form podcast. The chemistry between you guys was always the key to the magic on television. Thank You!

    More May!
This review is based on the only episode I’ve listened to. And it was absolutely fabulous. Izzy did a great job of letting them go, providing a younger perspective when needed. All TG and TGT fans cannot get enough of listening to Richard and James talk. There really should be a dedicated podcast, and hopefully bring Clarkson in as well. Their chemistry, history, stories, etc., are legendary.

    Go Izzy!
Izzy might be young but she speaks the TRUTH! I’m a long time Hamster fan, but listening to this for IZZY.

    Fantastic concept
A podcast like this is a must for anyone but especially for men. Delving into the issues people should be talking about or atleast considering. Only criticism after 3 episodes is that Izzy could be a bit slower to interrupt and challenge. Can be triggering at times with the abrupt interruptions which seem to happen most when Richard and the guest were discussing topics to do with challenges men can find themselves dealing with in current times, especially when she doesn’t agree with the Richard and the expert guests experience as men.

    HAMMOND YOU ID-….Genius.
Good on you Mr. Hammond. Looking forward to these perspectives and conversation. It’s like conversation street, but serious.

    Couldn’t be more excited
I’ve been watching the Hamster since I was 10. It’s hard to believe that was 17 years ago and you are still just as much of an inspiration to me today as you were to my 10 year old self. I can’t wait to join you and Izzy on your next chapter.
