    AI
Would love a podcast like this but the AI voice is distracting and lazy.

    Hate the music
The narrator has a good voice, but I HATE that horrible music in the background. It doesn’t fit the storyline. I would have liked to listen to this podcast. Delete the music and I will come back and listen.

    Nice
Pretty nice and makes me fall asleep. Just the long breaks after each sentence is annoying. Great Podcast!

    Too bad
Well read, but the swelling chord following each spoken line quickly became intolerable.

    So happy
I just found this podcast- wonderful soothing voice. I’ve read some think the voice is A.I. generated, but to me it sounds like a voice actor that did a guest appearance on an album by The Real Tuesday Weld. If it’s Him or A.I., it’s wonderful either way, but I like to daydream it’s Him.

    Thank you - great work!
This a very well done podcast and totally helps me fall asleep. It usually takes me a few times to get through each episode because I fall asleep so quickly. It’s very well done. Thank you to the creators and narrator!

    Love it for Bedtime
A great way to drift off. It’s consistent, rhythmic, even if the pauses seem a little awkward at times. But I use this really frequently to get to sleep

    I love the stories but…
Although I love the stories, and I love the voice, I can’t really listen to them because of the background music. I find it quite distracting and too loud, especially when the story ends and the music gets louder. I’m sure that some people might like it, but consider offering a version with and without the music for those of us who prefer just the voice. Perhaps it is because I have very loud tinnitus and can’t hear the words behind the sound. Just a suggestion.

    Does the job
Sometimes the text-to-speech is very obvious, but it still puts me to sleep. Five stars.

Who’s the narrator? Is it AI?
Yes, the voice is very soothing and the music is wonderful. I especially like the way the music continues for a significant amount of time after the narration comes to an end. But who’s the narrator? We don’t know who it is because he doesn’t exist. Tthe voice is an AI-generated construct. If you listen closely when he says “Mrs. Hudson,” for example, the voice renders “Mrs.” as the last word in the sentence, pauses slightly, and begins a new sentence with the word “Hudson.” There is simply no way an actual human narrator would make this mistake. Why should it matter? It probably doesn’t, as long as it puts you to sleep. But the producers should be upfront about it — truth in advertising and all that. There’s a place for AI, but it needs to be labeled as such.

    Excellent vibe for inducing sleep
The slight droning nature of the narrator’s voice and the ambient background music combined with the excellent writing of stories themselves almost always has me asleep before the narration ends. I particularly like the 19th century style of dialog. And the depictions of England at that time. I eagerly await every new episode and have relistened to most of the episodes.

    Excellent
I have always liked Sherlock series, this narrator does a good job! Thank you I suggest to tone down the music in background as it’s a little too suspenseful

    Great concept! Well executed!
Between the music and the quality of the reading, this can’t be beat.

    Love this podcast
Great stories, brilliantly written, read by some mysterious British person from the 19th century Production details are kept so mysterious. No personality. Just the work. Nice. I love the gently halting pace of the storyteller and how the music continues on after the reading…Zzzzzz It should be boring but it’s not. I have serious insomnia but it’s getting better. Thank you mysterious podcast makers.

    Gaps too long between sentences
I love this podcast! Thank you so much. Only thing I would appreciate is if you could make the gaps between sentences a little shorter.
