The right mix of thoughtful insight and good-natured irony, Winning Hand has emerged as the most reliably interesting and enjoyable way to appreciate this game and its (sometimes bizarre) source material. As a kid who grew up on X-Men but is an outsider to most of the current tabletop gaming culture (I don’t sleeve and have no plans to start), this podcast really helps me feel connected to the friendly community that’s formed around this incredible game.

Great podcast, one of the best marvel champions ones out there

I've been playing Marvel Champions since the very beginning and even got to demo it the GenCon it was announced. It took me a while to get into podcasts but once I did and thought to look for MC content, I stumbled onto the Winning Hand podcast. Initially I was unsure of the hook of "one card at a time" but the crew quickly won me over. While I do enjoy the card review section, my favorite part by far is the discussion of what the team has been playing and how they talk about their decks and games. The production value, content and the hosts are all top notch. I think Boomguy does an amazing job of keeping the pace of the show, managing the discussion, keeping everything moving and always having a good story or viewpoint to share. I really enjoy Lazytitans very opinionated statements on Aggression and I like his analysis on cards and their power level. Long live the king in red! (even though I do prefer blue...). Leethus always has good insight and I feel like I tend to lean towards his viewpoints the most. Keep the guys honest Leethus =) Keep up the great work guys, very well deserved 5 stars!

This series is focused on a cooperative Living Card Game by Fantasy Flight Games called Marvel Champions. While fairly niche, I really enjoy what the Winning Hand is doing and taking time to review each card one by one. With thousands of cards in an ever expanding collection it is no small task!!

Of all the Marvel Champion podcasts, I think this is the best: as entertaining as it it informative, the hosts do a great job packing content into their podcast and not relying on any filler. My only concern is the strange fascination with Vision but the hosts consistently provide content that overcomes even that.

Easily my favorite marvel champions podcast. The hosts are always entertaining and informative and make me laugh out loud multiple times each episode. My only complaint is the beginning and ending music/jingle doesn’t last long enough. I love it and I need more of it please. btw - this took me longer than 30 seconds……but glad I took the time to do it. Also I really enjoy the hot takes and when the hosts disagree on the power of a card and give each other a hard time. Great entertainment. Keep it up guys B-Dub

Clearly THE BEST Marvel Champions podcast. Love the discussions/debates between the hosts. I also like how even though the hosts love the game they are not afraid to talk about areas where the game may have made a mistake or when a hero or villian is just not that interesting or good. A breath of fresh air.

I enjoy listening while commuting to work. You can tell the host and guests on the show love the game, and it makes me excited to play when I get home. Thank you, and please keep making more episodes!

I don’t even have this game, but I enjoy this podcast. I do want to get this game soon, and when things in life settle down a bit I certainly will. Listening to the commentary assures me there is a thriving community for this game, along with PLENTY of way to play the game. I’m looking forward to one day listening to an episode while also having the card they’re talking about.

Reviewing one card is the hook, but these guys have added listener questions, what they’ve been playing discussions, and more. I’m always looking forward to the next episode! Keep up the good work guys!

I wish there was a sixth star to slap on here - this is an exceptional podcast on Marvel Champions! The crew wonderfully balances the breadth & depth of analysis, with an emphasis on FUN. They offer fantastic insight and the format really allows for a solid assessment of One Card At A Time. So thrilled I found this, and looking forward to much more content.

Great new podcast about Marvel Champions! If you like to hear some nice discussion about anything and everything MC related and then hear a deep dive on a highlighted card - this is worth your time. Something else you get here that I haven’t consistently heard anywhere else is discussion of the art of the cards, which is a fun addition!

Marvel Champions has quickly become my favorite game and this podcast is a great supplement to it when I can’t play!

This is the only Marvel Champions podcast I listen to. The hosts are just having fun chatting about the game while using a single card each show to prompt discussion.

Been listening to some other marvel champions podcasts for a bit now (marvel champions monthly, critical encounters, etc.) and recently found this one. After listening to the first one I quickly burned through the rest and subscribed. I like the sense of humor and that they don’t take the game super seriously but still are clearly passionate about it. Audio quality and theme song are great compared to some other MC podcasts. The pod is also split up nicely between general MC discussion at the beginning and then focusing in on the specific card of the day in the second half. If you’re like me and have become addicted to this awesome game you should definitely check this out!

The show is great, and I love the deep dive in a single card each episode. This is the kind of content this amazing game deserves. I love thinking about individual cards and combos for different decks. The main host (Boomguy) has great energy, and I love the sense of humor that the others bring! The jokes are funny and not too much, like some other podcasts I listen to. You’ve got a new follower in me…I can’t wait to see what’s next!!

I like the format of the show, talking in depth about one card per episode. The show has a lot of promise and potential! It might be cool to highlight at least one deck per episode, in a list that showcases the strengths of the featured card. If you guys make it to episode 100, you gotta celebrate with a Haymaker episode!

I’ve Listened to every episode and I can’t stop! I love marvel champions and always wanted a way to learn more about the card pool, and this is the perfect thing. The audio is good, the hosts are entertaining, and their talking points are always interesting. 5 Stars!
