Lily K @@Real Bible studyJen Wilkin has influenced my Bible study over the years probably more than anyone else. I used to be so frustrated by my lack of retention. Now I know I was not studying in a way that builds my Bible literacy. I have changed my ways and am reaping the benefits because of Jen! ❤️

lcliburnThank you! This podcast has been so helpful as I prepare to lead summer Bible studies this year and last! Perfect timing! I don’t know where I could submit a question but I would love to hear ideas on balancing prayer requests with Bible study time. Thank you for being faithful in your teaching!

oceanandridgeA Must Listen!Jen Wilkin’s book helped me in tremendous ways when it comes to how I study the Bible! This podcast is a fantastic supplement/addition to the book, having such rich conversation centered around studying the Bible and pertaining to Women of the Word!

ErhluvgodUnderstanding Bible LiteracyMy feeling would be that, one who’s walking with the Lord, the Lord will “open your eyes”, so that you WILL be able to understand the Bible. 📖

BuildingBridges1346This is an Answer to a Prayer that I Couldn’t Quite Articulate!I absolutely love this book and I’m so excited to walk through it with Jen Wilkin in this podcast. Jen is one of my favorite authors and the first time I saw her speak at a women’s conference about the importance of Bible literacy, I was like THESE ARE MY PEOPLE! This is exactly what I had been praying for, but didn’t realize how much I needed this until I started reading. It was a feeling of “this is what my heart always longed for, but I couldn’t articulate it” and Jen did just that. She articulates the longings of your heart in a way that is sometimes difficult to do when you don’t know what you don’t know. This is a MUST READ along with the Bible of course! :)

Nettyhdz31What a blessing!!Thank you so much for being a faithful servant of the Lord. I came across your teachings and book in 2018 and since then I have been teaching other women in my Spanish Church how to study God’s Word and it has been such a blessing. Our women are growing and desiring to know God more. Thank you Jen

Tried10nicknamesLove this podcast! This is an informative and enjoyable podcast. It gives me much to think about and motivates me for deeper study of God’s Word. Jen Wilkins is well spoken and knowledgeable and the interviewer, (Lauren?) is wonderful. She stays on track, is not silly, and has a style that speaks to my linear mindset.

tmarie4600The Value of Bible LiteracyThis series has been an amazing refresher of Jen Wilkin’s book of the same name. Such good reminders delivered in a conversational style. This renews my desire to know the Bible more, thereby knowing my God more.

crowserhPerfect TimingThis podcast has been so good. Jen Wilkin is a (biblically sound) gifted communicator- and teacher. I am currently leading a group through James using How to study the Bible from youversion. It is no coincidence that this podcast came out the week we started. It has paired nicely with that study and reading Women of the Word. As someone who has led women bible study groups for 14 years it is shocking to find Christian women who have grown up in church and asking the wrong questions of the text by no fault of their own- they were never taught. This resource is a gift.

happyquarterAudio is impossible to listen toRead the book! 5 stars for content. This would be a great podcast if I could hear it. Unfortunately, postproduction is abysmal.

LBHooverLoveI have been waiting for a while for Jen Wilkin to be a regular on a podcast. She’s such a genuine and humble presence in the field of women’s discipleship, and we need more like her. Crossway’s idea to turn the book Women of the Word into a podcast is a big win for the increase of Bible literacy among women. I’m excited to make listening to this a part of the weekly podcast intake.

Mcmoore1015Very helpful, but…This is what I need! I have been feeling like I don’t really know how to read and interpret the Bible on my own, how I should be consuming and contemplating the Word and learning about God so when I found this podcast I was thrilled! I’m only giving 4 stars because the audio on the podcast could be better. While I love the conversational style, I can barely hear them. During episode 2, I found myself constantly having to increase the volume to hear what Jen was saying and periodically having sound blasted through at other times (as if the speakers are moving around and closer to or away from the microphone). I’m alone in an office with no other sound. I am listening to Jen’s book so hopefully I can pick up what I missed.

TrahayGreat optionI love everything Jen has done. I share her studies and books frequently and I’m very excited to have another medium to share. The book gives you a new fire in your Susie’s. You will not be disappointed in anything she has done. Very excited.
