A man so lost and addicted to his own self-import. There was a time I adored him, his humor and insight; long past. Funny that his bio references and alternative to propaganda, yet he’s become another MAGAt mouthpiece. Disappointing all around, I miss the Russell who had an independent thought.

One thing Russel will never be accused of is boring. He’s zany, irreverent, mysterious with a heaping spoonful of uneasy. I’m happy for his new found faith. As a believer I truly hope it’s real.

… that said, to see this massive shift over to the far far extreme right over the past year (or longer but primarily this past year has been remarkable and awful to witness) has broken my heart. Russ seems like an extraordinary person. Deeply wise and uniquely charismatic like no other - that’s why I valued him so much, for so long. So again, this feels PERSONAL the way he’s shifted over to looney town. It’s so upsetting. He’s better than this. And claiming non bias? That’s absolutely not true. Russ , if you put half the effort you do into analyzing Kamala into Trump - then I could see a man in the middle exposing both sides. But that’s not what this has become at all. I have loved witnessing Russ’s radical change and shift into politics and wellness - under the skin is maybe the greates pod of all time (seriously) and the work he’s done through his writing has saved lives. So it’s deeply upsetting to witness that journey cumulate into …. This? Why Russ, why??? It’s broken my heart to witness this over time right in front of my eyes.

I love this show. I love Russell. I am so excited that he found Jesus. I just really wish she would do some research about the Catholic religion. I love him and I want him to go to heaven that religion is not gonna get them there the pope nuns, Cardinals, calling your preacher, father there is only one father confession booths telling your sins, to a man, rosary, beads myology, please Russell. It’s a counterfeit religion.

At first I thought how can I keep up with his energy . But his fast paced detail on the truth and horror going on in the our world is refreshing and entertaining . Russel-You are a brilliant man but you should let your guest be interviewed instead of interviewing yourself. Lara had to sit and listen to you rant on and on about basically nothing. Ask your guest compelling questions and let them speak. Have an opening dialogue and then shut up…the rambling is overwhelming and the interview gets lost in your rapid fire thoughts. Just being honest…

I thought you were intelligent and a good thinker. I’m glad that you seem to be on a serious faith journey but I am baffled by your embrace of Trump, whose character is so seriously flawed. I can’t imagine that your good friend, Brene Brown, is supporting you in this new direction. Whether you’re antiglobalization or you oppose some or all of Harris’ policies, how can you overlook that so many who worked w Trump during his term in office are begging Americans not to vote for him this time. Shouldn’t that be a huge red flag? Shouldn’t Liz Cheney’s decision (after hearing mostly Republicans testify against Trump during the Jan 6 hearings), painful though it was (disagrees w many of Harris’ policies and never voted Democratic before), carry any weight? I’m afraid that those who influenced you to become a Christian (which I consider a good thing) have pushed you to the decidedly UNchristian support of a sex offender, convicted felon, and perpetual liar. A real head scratcher! Wake up, Russell. You’re better than this!

If you enjoy being whipped up and hearing only part of the story you might enjoy it. Not for me!

To put it kindly as I can she is not my cup of tea. At all. I listened to the whole episode. My take away is that her ego her self aggrandizing made it impossible for me to hear what possible good or great points might have been made. There is this mania…her speech is so pressured. I’m sorry I can’t abide.

Opinions are never facts. Just another person with a podcast looking for a following so they can make money, spewing controversy in the name of “reality”. Like a scripted reality show minus the housewives. It’s gross.

As a sober human, I loved his books. I wanted to love the podcast and did for a short time, until he stopped being objective, and an independent, free thinker. Now he’s sounding like he’s picked a side. It’s just conspiracies with right wing undertones. To each their own, but I was told there would be no MAGA. Switched to Joe Rogan and Paul Rieckhoff.

Dude I dig you. I never thought you were funny as a stand up comedian, but I appreciate your eloquence and clarity of thought as a political commentator. That said, I’m happy for you that religion is bringing you personal gratification but religion should be a very personal and privatel pursuit. Other people have their own religion and spiritual beliefs. Do what you do but please accept that your beliefs are your own and should be treated as personal insights that may conflict with those of your appreciative audience.

Had not heard of “The Chosen” but watched 4 episodes last night that really touched my heart. I turned control of my life over to Jesus July 22, 1982 and was radically changed. I listen to a lot of podcasts everyday. I could listen to Russel Brand everyday. I normally listen to comedy but he keeps grounded in the world of chaos.

I love this podcast! Russell manages to be funny while delivering necessary dark news that the MSM would never allow on their platforms. I admire his openness he shares while journeying through mental illness; as someone recently diagnosed with the same affliction it is really inspiring to see how he's grown despite this condition. I also love that we've been able to watch him while he grows in his spirituality. Truly an amazing podcast.

If you are still listening to, watching, or reading the nonsense spewed by legacy media then you will not like this show. For those who figured it out, Russel is refreshingly honest and entertaining in his attempt to deliver “the news.” If you’re on the fence, just ask yourself a simple question: If the one thing I know about is regularly reported on by legacy media incorrectly, how then can I assume the other 99.9% of things I do not know for sure are correct? Mark Twain said it best: “It’s not what we don’t know that is the problem, it’s what we know for sure that just ain’t so.”
