Would love a season 2 for Interview With the Vampire with Naomi!!! Discussions and interviews were fantastic for season 1. Been a fan of the Vampire Chronicles for 25 years and I still learned so much!

Where is season 2?!? I need the kiki and play that was season 1 of this podcast!

Where is the podcast for season 2? So many things to dissect.

The first season was so much fun (and relevant) - where is Season 2?! It’s on tv right now, where’s my companion podcast?! It’s just now getting REALLY good….

I’ve just finished listening to this podcast on The Mayfair Witches finally. And I found it way more enjoyable than the show as too few episodes were made from a 1,000+ page book. I’m only halfway through the book. I especially enjoyed hearing from cast members.

The show was such a hot mess compared to the books. And the podcast was worse. A waste of time.

After being a bit Podcast burned out over recent years of over-saturation- I plugged into yours on the Anne Rice Mayfair Witch TV series! LOVE LOVE your GREAT interview style, questions, ability to bring out the most interesting details and personal self disclosures from guests, and just having a ‘fun rolling good time and taking us with you’ Podcast style!!!- I’m hooked, won’t miss an episode, and now will tune in to any of your future Podcastings! THANKS for bringing back entertaining, intelligent, and interesting Podcasts Ms Amy!!!

PLEASE get a new host. The vocal fry plus super odd pacing is so distracting. Not to mention the dumb “witch” jokes. Not cute.

I hope that we get a season two this is such an amazing show. I love it.

Really wanted to like this podcast because I love the show but the host of this podcast is obnoxious, she sounds like she's doing a commercial for some new prescription drug. To the host, just talk like a human being and you'll be much more likable.

The Mayfair Witches TV show is, quite simply, not in the same galaxy as the books. No one talking on this podcast seems to know, respect, or care about the “source material” at all. While modernizing the casting choices could of been admirable in some respects, the changes to the story line, overarching themes, motivations, etc are unforgivable and no amount of explanation from the show runners or cheeky commentary from the host will ever make up for it. This show needs to be scrapped and redone, and these writers need to pick a new field of work.

The IWTV show host was OK and funny and good with her guests … but the host for TMW is utterly annoying! Not to mention, she proclaims herself “A Witch in Training” but clearly does not know the book material, doesn’t seem to know about basic witch history facts and barely seems to pay attention to points of the show. Plus…I listen for information about the show (as underwhelming as it has been)… not the politics of the host and her guests!

I’ve learned to not get my hopes up with books turned into movies. Have you read Chocolat by Joanne Harris? Not really a rom com. So I came in with low expectations and I’m so glad! I’m enjoying the story they are retelling, and the lush imagery.

Sorry it could be good but sadly for me the host is like nails on a chalkboard. You can feel the guest’s discomfort with her during their interviews. I’ll stick to the tv series

Read the books and watch the v show for what they are and stop trying to make it into something it isn’t. There is a reason why this trash came out after the passing of Anne Rice.

I’m so confused, I thought Naomi Ekperigin was hosting. I really wanted this to be a continuation from Interview with the Vampire series.

I grew up watching re-runs of “Dark Shadows”, read Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”, and Sookie Stackhouse novels. All I enjoyed.I also watched the cinema version of “ Interview with the Vampire “, which I chuckled all throughout. Actor Tom Cruise as Lestat was laughable and Brad Pitt in his early acting career couldn’t act his way out of a paper bag. That movie convinced me to bypass on reading Anne Rice’s novels. However this AMC TV series convinced me to order all the books. The superb casting, historical context and excellent script has indeed enthralled me. The Podcast host, Naomi, positively influenced me even more. She engaged her guests with thought provoking and intelligent conversation. It was illuminating and fun to listen. Thank you. Very eager for Season Two.

Loved the show, and kept up on watching just to hear Naomi’s takes and interviews. Can’t wait to hear her on more shows in the future!

I absolutely love the show interview with the vampire but the companion podcast would not be the same without the hostus with the mostus, vampire aficionado, answering all the deep burning questions we want to hear Naomi Ekperigin. I adore her so much and can’t wait to hear her dulcet tones when more episodes drop come the second season!

This one is amazing! ❤️‍🔥I get bored easily with most but Naomi is super vibrant and entertaining. And I truly love the energy she shares with the cast and guests. Super fun. I really wish some of the time with the cast was longer though. Or let’s double back! Lol I have so many questions. 😭 More Sam & Jacob please! Awesome work! 💯🩸

The criticism: The host cuts off the guests and can’t seem to stop talking long enough to let them answer questions. This got better after Bailey Bass, who I felt a bit sorry for. The “hard hitting journalist” joke got old the second time it was said… and she uses it in every episode. Yeahhhh, she reuses all her jokes over and over. She can’t seem to stop talking about herself. Some of these podcasts could have been half the length if she had been edited better. Was anyone editing or directing her? We could have had so much more guest content. Let’s face it, that’s the main reason why we’re all here. Also, after alllll the bragging about how much she loves horror and IWTV it becomes obvious after guests reference things from the books, that she hasn’t read them! At one point she even says she had no idea about something that is right from the book. One more thing. Can the voicemail beep be a little less jarring? A little EQ and less volume would make it less shrill. The positive: Wonderful, wonderful guests. Fun interviews, when the host let them speak. Great and really entertaining information about the wonderful show. As much as I was disappointed with the host I still listened to all the episodes. It did get better toward the end. It’s a 5 star podcast with a different host.

Thank you for opening up this story I grew up reading and watching in ways that I never thought possible. The inclusion and diversity coupled with Anne’s expansive universe makes for a whole new experience for us. I’ve read every book in the series and this show is a whole new adventure without diminishing the original work.

The host is absolutely hilarious and so fun to listen to, plus the behind the scenes information that this show fills you in on is so cool to learn. The creators, writers, and the actors as guests is a fun treat.

My guilty pleasure has been watching Interview with the Vampire these past few weeks, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the podcast thanks to the fabulous and might I add, hilarious host. Can’t wait for season 2 of both!

I’ve loved Anne Rice since 1992 and Naomi Ekperigin since 2018. Love, love this iteration of the story - the time period, the casting, the set design, the pivot to centering African-Americans in New Orleans. And then Naomi in this perfect vehicle for her charm, enthusiasm and singular wit. I am gagging, henny. 😍

Naomi is brilliant and brings so much humor and charm to all her interviews. I need her to host all tv review podcasts hahaha

I listen every week, my prior review (below) was posted before first podcast episode aired and it does not disappoint! I feel like it is a week behind but of course AMC+ subscribers are ahead an episode by one week. And I have a bit of a crush on Louis/Jacob Anderson. I love this series and podcast so much!! ——————————————————— I just watched both episodes on AMC+ and I am blown away! I had to subscribe from the podcast. If the show is any indicator on how good this will be I can only imagine the podcast.

Interview with the Vampire is an amazing show that deserves an equally amazing podcast and that’s just what the host, Naomi, delivers!! I absolutely love her and look forward to listening to her post show interviews almost as much as the show itself!
