We listen to tons of kids podcasts and this is the only one we have paid for because it is just that good. And unlike some other kids stories that can have annoying hyper narration, this is incredibly soothing and calming. Listen to this now.

Tanner406Sound is horrible stories are mostly goodEither they are purposely making the sound horrible to push people to subscribing or they don’t know what they are doing. The Podcast loudness is set way too low which means when the ads are automatically added the loudness doesn’t match. Some loudness differences are so great that the ads can hurt your little one’s ears if the podcast is set loud enough to be audible. And the ads are inappropriate for children. I’ve only had an issue with one story so far; one of the characters was calling other characters stupid and using other insults. Granted the story line was about not having friends because the character was not kind, however, the story didn’t do a good job of identifying that this was unacceptable behavior at the time of the insults. This was done only vaguely long before the insults.

EliseP88A delight! Our all-time favorite.My son (7) and I discovered the Animal Tales podcast a few months ago and have listened to it at least three or four times per week since. At about 15-18 minutes per episode, this podcast is excellent for the car. My son enjoys it immensely and I find it to be relaxing and never obnoxious (not a given for kids’ content) which makes it perfect for us both on long road trips as well as short drives. We chose to subscribe and requested a story and an episode was produced within a month that absolutely, absolutely delighted us. We love this show! Because we like the show so much, we’ve purchased two of the books and found them to be excellent material for me to read aloud at bedtime. I recommend this show to our friends all the time.

NG-528Great Stories, Inappropriate AdsMy son loves this podcast, but I have to say the ads are quite inappropriate for a child’s podcast. One gambling ad had a sexual innuendo about getting lucky. PLease change your advertisers or put them at the end, so my young child doesn’t have to hear them mid story.
