Scotto33-45I’m in Dallas!!Great show. Love the work you guys put in to it. I flew to Dallas yesterday to attend the game Friday night. If I see one of you guys I’ll say hi.

Sam2U8E4LSpineless ratsDay is elbow deep in the entire cast controlling you all like puppets. God forbid you do your job and hold the program accountable. Instead it’s a collective media effort headed by birm and Austin to devalue the Michigan game to please daddy day. Funny how when you aren’t on top of the rivalry it’s suddenly one of many rivalries in sport instead of the greatest rivalry in all of sport. Grow a spine the fans deserve better than this garbage.
-
Mackey, TimLack of AccountabilityI continue to be stunned by listening to this podcast after the debacle against Michigan. There’s a strong argument to be made that Austin, Birm, and Bill are the best members of the Ohio State “beat”. The lack of accountability to hold the players and coaching staff to the expectations they have set for themselves is very frustrating. To hear 66% of this group talk up Justin Frye was laughable at best or was a provided talking point by the university at worst. Doug does a very good job reminding the listeners that he works for the fans. Might be time for a good reminder for the rest of the crew.

Blame the fansI’m done.So…..it’s the fans fault. Is that what I heard?? You sunshine pumpers are a joke!

DaRQue02Insufferable Listening During FB SeasonThese guys, and I will admit it’s primarily Birm who ruins the in-season enjoyment, are an insufferable listen during the actual football season. If you didn’t know any better, these guys pretend to have most or all of the answers and apparently they are top level coaches that can dissect everything that is wrong with Ryan Day and the rest of the staff. Do yourself a favor and DEFINITELY do subscribe for any in-season content. When it is off season and you are starving for something to listen to, these guys rate somewhere between Eastern Mississippi Banjo Folk and nails on a chalkboard.

Matt 5237Why is Doug still on The Podcast?I thought he went to Kings of the North? Why is he still on here whining? He doesn’t even go to games? What is his skill exactly? Who cares about his doofy bowl farewell? He apparently just talks about feelings?!? Why is he talking about house renovations? He is a clown. Fire Doug!!! (But thank you for limiting his learning impairments to once a week. Buckeye Talk is better and much less Dougie man-child) *Update* Fire Day and Doug! Doug baits Bill into a false dichotomy and argues about it. He watches TV copy and has no insights. Let him continue to fail at KOTN.

WillmicikMust Listen for Buckeye FansAbsolutely love The Podcast. Nothing happens in Ohio State football that Austin Ward doesn't know first. Bill is insanely smart when it comes to Xs and Os. And Birm and Doug always know exactly what you are thinking and feeling as a Buckeye fan. Absolutely worth the subscription for Buckeye nation. A+++

SFOhioListen to em allThanks for the coverage & content! Makes it easier to be an informed buckeye fan

Xdavis23Great OSU pod!I listen to countless Ohio State podcasts like many others, but this one is one of the best without a doubt, specifically Kings of Columbus with Bill and Doug is my favorite one. The knowledge those guys have without being too biased is great I can actually come away smarter without thinking I’m a homer (lol) there other show called Sunday sound off is also a great one!
-
hfm2003THE Best PodcastAll these guys are great and actually know what they’re talking about. They give great insight on the buckeyes and keep it real while not being homers at the same time. Particularly Kings of Columbus is my favorite show. Doug Lesmerises is pure gold! Dude is hilarious!
-
brems gemsLose nicole and you’ll receive a 5th starHaving to listen to Nicole give her analyst about Ohio State football is equivalent to listening to Michigan fans saying they earned their champions championship last year. with her joining the podcast in the live show I have quit listening to the live show and I quit going to Roosters just because of her awful analyzing of Ohio state football. I have started listening to Buckeye talk and going to Buffalo wild wings instead of listening to the live show and eating roosters. she is worse than Isaiah Princes backed up.
-
bcwestyTHE Best PodcastLove these guys, they’re the best in the biz. They provide excellent content, analysis, and context for what’s going on with the Buckeyes & in college football. As a Columbus native & lifelong Buckeyes fan, I really appreciate that these guys aren’t homers & they tell it like it is. Also, they each come with their own strengths, expertise, and styles that meld really well together. This is my favorite podcast out there.
-
glimadollGuys - Quit discounting what Nicole saysStop with the macho dismissiveness and jokes when Nicole speaks. Be nice to her!!!!!!
-
BuckeyeDanOhStay on taskDoug & Bill, you guys are my 2 favorite journalists on the Buckeye beat but don’t use my listening time talking about all the quarterbacks in the Big 10 (as an example) on Kings of Columbus. You have another show for that; Buckeye fans want to hear all of your thoughts/angles on the Buckeyes. (Would easily give you guys 5 Stars but not when I/we have to listen about players we don’t care about.)
-
nmgroveNeed Doug to remember osu fans are paving the way for KoTNDoug needs to either stay more involved with osu so he can speak intelligently about them or drop them completely and allow bill, Austin, and birm handle it. Sometimes it is good to support the feelings of the fan base that is supporting your work.
-
Pop-of-6Doug LesmerisesIt is much easier to listen to the podcasts than to watch the agonizing faces Doug makes instead of the usual “uh , um” that too many use as a pause. Doug Lesmerises has the gift of gab says captain obvious.

WohlPackDoug needs to be on the postgameIn my opinion, this crew is the best overall on the Buckeye beat. Birm is the best at recruiting, hands down. I tune in for most things but my biggest draw is Doug. Here are some thoughts. 1. Doug needs to be paid more and featured more daily. Bill is fantastic, but not a stand alone, and I am extremely disappointed that there is no post-game reaction from Doug on either Saturday or Sunday. 2. I’m not here for Kings of the North and don’t want to hear excuses about it being too much work to do both shows. 3. Austin is the weakest link of the team. 4. Doug and Birm are your biggest assets and you need to lean into that.
-
hvanzA truly great team!Austin, Birm, Landis, and Doug are a special group! They do great work as far as providing quality info for us fans who can’t be with the buckeyes day in and out but on top of that they help you love your team more by the fun they have and bring into these podcasts. Cannot recommend them enough! Thanks guys
-
ILbuckLove this show - great perspective and insightsJeremy Birmingham is the best in the business when it comes to Ohio State recruiting. “Talking Stuff” is awesome. Love the different shows and coverage of team.
-
mibuckeye8789Kings of the NorthLove the show. Love Doug as always, but disagree totally with the _ichigan cheating take. Pete Thames doesn’t get to determine what punishment they will or will not get. Report was leaked to Thames by _ichigan for the exact article he wrote. 5 level one’s gets a slap on the wrist? Hope not. With that said, I am focused on success this season, that’s all that matters. SCUM getting torched is simply gravy.

wlazukaVPNLove the show, but can’t load podcast on Apple because it doesn’t work with my ExpressVPN. All other podcasts don’t have this issue

cool in stlGreat podcast.Great podcast. BL kills it every time.

TPA BuckTPA BuckShows are mostly good but during the busiest recruiting times of the year seems to have little updates and spends time talking about random topics. The Live show with Carpenter and Zwick is not informative most times. A lot of useless humor and talking about old times. Just had by far the busiest and most important portion of the recruiting season… crickets in terms of info

StanleyDFWThe Northwester Pod was Incredible MisinformedAs an Ohio State grad and fan, the pod about the Northwestern game at Wrigley Field was an dismal display of unintelligent, misinformed Ohio State homer banter by Birm and Austin. All of this thoughtless nonsense was on the pod: - Wrigley holds 50k, 60k, 25k?! Wrong, it holds approximately 40k, it would take two minutes to Google that - The field at Wrigley plays football in one direction?! Wrong, the recent Wrigley renovation made it so the dugouts and some seats could be removed such that play could go in two directions - Play the game at the Shoe?! Come on - Northwestern should cancel their seasons while the stadium is being renovated?! Come on - I don’t understand why Wrigley still has the ivy?! Are you kidding And probably more insane, half witted things I missed while typing this. You can say a lot of great interesting things on podcasts and build up good will with a fan base only the fumble it a way with one completely misinformed pod. Do some research, put some effort in, or skip the daily pod if you have nothing to say.

wendall.odinson.Everything is DiapersI am an oddball and a sports nerd… so it’s hard to find people that I relate to. Too dorky for the jocks and too jocky for the dorks. But there is a sweet balance on this show of immature jokes, football talk, and total nonsense that hits the nail on the head like this podcast. Doug saying “everything is diapers” had me laughing out of my chair! I am now on the “everything is diapers” bandwagon to introduce into American culture.

John OCTHE best Buckeye podcastExcellent Buckeye analysis and insights. I’ve come to appreciate the show more as I listen more. This is the podcast for Buckeye fans who want to avoid the hyperbolic, fair weather conversations on sites like Bucknuts. The hosts know the team, actually watch film, and have intelligent things to say about OSU football. Birm is the man. It’s also a fun group with a good sense of humor and the ad touch is light. Bravo guys!

LegenderryJDTHE all-in-one place Buckeye football podcastThis podcast’s team rivals that of the 2024 Buckeye roster and maybe even the avengers. Birm hits the proverbial recruiting ball out of the park along with the graphics and all things editorial, Ward has the connections to rival Manning and Harrison and always. Rings interesting tid bits from his one on one convos, Landis brings the football analysis and more Xs and Os than a room full of tic-tac-toe boards, and Doug is the northern football hype man we didn’t know we needed. Love how they have consistently provided quality coverage but also mix it up with different people all the time. I appreciate that you all don’t crucify players even when they are awful, remembering they are still people and very very young. I also appreciate that you don’t jump on the sky is falling bandwagon. Keep up the great work. Hope to meet you all sometime. JD

Greggc74THE ReviewHere is where you get all your daily Buckeye : College football info. Between the text service, and the Daily Pods, I am ALWAYS in the know. Guys at work ask hear the news, I already know the back story and details. You NEED this pod in you life my friend! GreggC74

Abbie ChristmasBest Buckeyes Podcast.Hands down the place to go for all things buckeye football.
-
What up TCMy favorite Buckeye podcastLong live Bill! Long live Doug! Long live Ari!
-
Lil Rock9Love BirmBut I have to say. Bill Landis is the reason I couldn’t listen to 4 to 6 on the athletic. Dude is so negative about everything especially about a Buckeye program that has the 2nd highest winning percentage behind Bama in the last decade or more. Also this podcast has turned into the negative podcast, nothing is right at TOSU.
-
bjk795InformativeIf you are looking to go beyond the surface level, then this is the podcast for you. Bill is level headed and firm, but fair. Doug is definitely more intense (something about him just annoys me, not sure what, maybe his cadence?) but he is informative and plugged in. Doug also asks the tough questions, which many shy away from in fear of losing access, and I respect that. Too much of media nowadays is just public relations. Overall a go to Buckeyes podcast.
-
jpsmittyFire Ryan dayCrazy how this team went from winning trophies to only caring about paychecks and draft picks. Screw this team I’m hopping off. See you next September. Hopefully with a whole new coaching staff.
-
WebbAJ2312Great PodcastI was a loyal BuckeyeTalk listener and came here for the Doug-Landis reunion, but found an All Star cast all-around. The cherry on top is the Stetson Bennett/Foghorn Leghorn/Colonel Sanders voice made its way here too. Keep up the great work, boys
-
Buckeyevet16Best in the businessOhio state fans are lucky to have such a great group of guys covering their team. Go bucks!
-
TME473CheatersI was at the Ohio State Perdue game behind OSU bench and I was directly behind a guy who recorded the whole game blocking my view in a seat I paid 253 dollars. He had a Perdue shirt on but I kept wondering the whole time why he was recording a whole game that Perdue was loosing. He yelled at my friend because she went down to a seat beside him in the fourth quarter because the girls that had been sitting there left

Carl JusticeNot Being HonestIf you’re a fan that wants to hear nothing but great things about your team, this is your podcast. If you want to hear the actual truth about what’s going on, go somewhere else. It’s really sad to see reporters scared to give an accurate assessment because they don’t want to lose their access to the team/coaches. Your job as a reporter is tell the truth and not just pander to the program. Fans will voice concerns and then be told to relax. OSU then loses to Michigan because of those concerns and then crickets 😂
-
Kevin LP fanTHE best Ohio state coverageThese guys are great at providing objective analysis and not being total homers. Doug and bill have been awesome additions and appreciated the new long form content along with the existing videos and analysis.
-
SloopyStrel80THE Podcast is THE podcast to listen toTHE Podcast does a great job of providing a variety of shows which allows you to find a show or shows that fit your needs. From game recaps, to recruiting, to Northern football, and more, the staff does a terrific job. Kings of the North and Kings of Columbus are great. Keep up the good job, guys.

TommyTomTom441244Came over for Doug and BillFirst, Doug and Bill back together are spectacular. Made my day when I found out this is what was in the works. For all of you haters out there (oh no these guys are just journalist and don’t have ties to Ohio State blah blah blah), go find a technical analysis podcast where you can cry about everything you always cry about. This Pod is now THE most entertaining and topically diverse Ohio State pod. Love it.
-
Expatriot In Western PaThe best in-depth Ohio State football contentExcellent, diverse content, be it the deep-dives by Doug Lesmerises and Bill Landis; the daily takes by Austin Ward, Landis and Jeremy Birmingham; and Birm’s recruiting coverage. I do not miss an episode.
-
Js348503Why Doug and Bill?I really used to enjoy this podcast. Austen and Birm are great fans and advocates for Ohio State Football, Doug and Bill are just journalists, with no real emotional connection to the team that I love. What kind of morons go on an Ohio State fan podcast and talk about how great ❌Ichigan is? I stopped listening to Cleveland.com a long time ago due to Doug. He is 90% mouth and 10% brains. We all know people like that, and now he has invaded my favorite podcast. Bill needs to go back to Pennsylvania and be a journalist for a team he actually cares about. Based on their betting advise, these two are wrong about everything most of the time anyway. Being annoying and wrong is not something anyone would want to tune into. Time to find a new podcast. I definitely miss Beanie and the Boom. Ex-player podcasts are the best in my opinion.
-
firsty mclastnameGreat pod, time for schlegal to goLove the podcast and all the coverage. My only complaint is Anthony schlegal. The guy is too much. He’s a meat head who just rambles incoherently and doesn’t really give any good insight. Loved him as a player but can’t listen to him
-
Greggatron70One Ohio State pod to rule them allThis channel replaced 6 different Ohio State podcasts I used to listen to. Simply outstanding coverage from multiple perspectives.
-
@Ram5eyThe standard is the standard.Simply the best pod out there in quantity and quality.

E in TSUNHorseshoe Lounge TuesdayWow… LOVED today’s podcast with Bobby, Tyvis and of course Nicole. A ton of post game insight from guys who have “been there” and looking forward to the ND game. It made my morning run/walk so enjoyable. Thank you. PS… my Buckeye leaf would’ve gone to Melton as well. 😎-H

jklap0117Loving the New ContentAbsolutely loving the new content! I use The Podcast as my single source of Ohio State news at this point because they are that good. All four of you are the best at what you do.
-
just a buckeye fanMore facts, less vibes5* because Bill and Doug are back together and that is great Used to really enjoy this podcast, but it’s gotten to the point where they spend more time complaining about how coaches act in press conferences than they do actually discussing the team. This podcast has so much potential, but it needs to be more analytical to provide any useful insight. Some examples that could have benefited so many podcasts recently - How long was the Youngstown St QB actually holding the ball? What happened when he held it on plays over 2s? How does that compare to the national average? - What % of plays are stretch to the boundary? How do does their success rate compare to other plays? - Did we change any tendencies in the run game from week 1 to week 2? Can it be quantified? Also, I really can’t listen to baseless DLine conversations anymore. If you want to complain about the same thing every single episode at least bring some evidence to support your claims. It has gotten to the point where I just turn off the podcast when the daily rant starts.

adpatterson19Tell Us Why- Utilize Football ExpertsYou guys do a fantastic job identifying and analyzing the team. Best by a mile. One suggestion: when your analysis of the team leads to identifying issues or tendencies (like runs to the boundary or the line play or QB play or playcalling by Day or Knowles), instead of trying to break down the issues amongst yourself bring on an expert to break it down. Let the expert tell us why they are calling boundary runs or why the line play has been poor or why Day or Knowles called certain plays. Could be Boren, Carpenter, Zwick or maybe a former coach. I know the former players do the Roosters show and a show on Sunday, but having a football expert on the Monday rewatch or a segment for Wednesday’s Kings of Columbus, that is film breakdown oriented, would be super additive to tell us why Ohio State has these issues you all identify.
