I feel like some information gets repeated a lot. However, as it is a 7 book series and a 8 movie series, there isn’t a lot to go about. One thing I LOVE about this podcast is it’s one of the best Harry Potter stuff out there and there is a lot of content you can listen to. I’ve followed this podcast for years and enjoyed the content, up until recently. The creator has done 2 podcast of which I listened to (the latter I couldn’t bear to finish) where he exhaust the topic of Snape’s recent actor choice. HP is a fictional world where many people including POC feel seen, heard and now possibly represented. If the actual author doesn’t have an issue nor the team producing it, why do you? Grow up, shut up and maybe listen to an episode or 2 of Harry Potter and the sacred text to see what nuance magic irl looks like. Imagine being an insufferable complainer, whining about a fictional world in this day in age *Unsubscribed*

I am rly interested in a lot of ur theories and even the ones I don’t agree w/ I still like to Listen it’s a great podcast and I have something weird in fourth book fake moods magical eye can see through Harry’s invisibility cloak but we find out in the last book that it’s death cloak, and nobody can see it and it’s not like a normal invisibility cloak.

Can you use just the core of a want to preform magic or do you need the wand? Why aren’t there more cats at Hogwarts? If ghosts can’t learn anything how do they remember people’s names? Why does lord Voldemort slide open Dumbledores tomb with out destroying it why didn’t he just smash the whole thing? Are there only male centaurs? Do centaurs have their language or do they just speak English? In the order of the phoenix why didn’t they just open all the doors in the circle room to find the exit? What’s the point of the single digits on the quidditch score thingy? Why does harry Potter always compare people to animals? (Sluggorn a spider, Umbridge a toad, Scrimjor a lion) if Nicolas flamel was stabbed or a Avada kadavraed would he survive? Was Harry the only master of death? I think with all the major characters it’s going to be difficult because we all associate the actors of the films with them so whoever is cast is going to have to bring something unique to the table. Rowling has to be closely monitoring the whole thing so maybe she sees something we don’t in these selections. Although she has made some controversial statements in the past so really I don’t think this should be a surprise that they’re breaking some rules. Time will tell.

There are a lot of differences between the movies & the books, but in both, Bellatrix/Hermione still walks into Gringotts bank. She was aloud 2 because 1, Voldemort had control over the Ministry of Magic, which included Gringotts & Azkaban. 2, she had a vault there. 3, goblins didn’t get along with wizards well.They’d rather have nothing to do with eachother (this is better explained in the books). So goblins certainly aren’t going to meddle with 1 of Voldemort’s most faithful servants & get in the war. As for just checking the wand, that’s all they needed 2 do. They had been forewarned that Bellatrix had lost her wand, so if someone came in with it, it would be obvious that they were an impostor. However, from under the cloak, Harry cast the Imperious charm on the goblin. U should read the books; it’s worth it😉 From a dear Ravenclaw, 💙🦅

Why did Gringotts Bank let Belatrix Lestrange, a well know death eater, just walk into the biggest and most well known bank in the whole Wizarding World in the Deathly Hallows Pt2 movie? Did that also happen in the book? Would that happen if Grindewald or even Voldemort walked in? Did they make a treaty or something? Of course Bela wasn’t actually herself, it was Hermione, but I don’t think they new that, or they wouldn’t let her in the vault. Also, wouldn’t they have more protection in the “safest bank ever”? All they did was ask to see her wand. I mean, wouldn’t they at least have a Magic Detector or something? Anyways, I’d love to hear and episode on this topic and I love your podcast. Response to Evboy62; Mcgonnigal didn’t use the potion that brought back Voldemort on Dumbledoor because: A, It is very dark magic and she wouldn’t or couldn’t perform it Or B, Voldemort hadn’t died yet, his soul was fragmented but he wasn’t dead therefore, it worked on him. If he was all the way dead, I don’t think it would have worked. Also, what would happen if you drank skelegrow if you weren’t missing any bones? And all the people on chocolate frogs, do they spy on people through the collector cards? What if Draco was in Gryffindoor and Harry was in Slytherin? What if Neville was “the chosen one”?

One question, if only people who have seen death can see thestrals, how could Harry not see them until Sirius died, since he saw his parents die? Also, I straight up love the “The force is just Harry under the invisibility cloak” theory, and I tell it to every Harry Potter fan I come across. Almost definitely wrong, but the funniest theory out there. (If you have a better one, try me). ALSO, wait wait wait in the “Top ten things fans get wrong” episode, HE CHANGED THE QUOTE???
