I wait for this one to drop every week
No goofy nicknames. No corny show-related jokes. Serious and thoughtful discussion, which I appreciate.

Meh. Not a lot of chemistry.
Recommended if you just want to hear anything/everything related to the show. Honestly not that insightful and neither host is unusually charismatic or knowledgeable and there is not much chemistry between the hosts.

    really digging your vibe
you guys have a nice essence and I’m really into it. however, i wanted to ask if you have to use so many big words. i know I’m just a child (I am a child) but a lot of the words you use are too big for me and i don’t understand them. but other than that, great folly

Sending my psyche back to my IT Job
I’ve entered early retirement & was considering going back to an abbreviated version of my 20 yrs of being a corporate IT Manager. Thank you for STOPPING ME!!

    Strange people
Criticizing people for not wanting to see a sex scene is wild. And why did you spend like 90% of the episode talking about sexual relationships. Just friggin perverted and weird. And the pompousness is outrageous, “mmm how dare anyone not enjoy watching sex scenes as me??” Gross

    fav Severance pod
I listen to a lot of Severance reaction pods and this is my favorite in terms of the quality of discussions and analysis of themes. Lots of emotional insight combined with good-natured comedy.

    Ambient Hum is awful
I want to love this pod, but there’s an incredibly annoying ambient hum in the background of all audio, which after about 15 minutes gave me a terrible headache.

Good analyses, easy to listen to
This podcast is just the thing for people obsessed with Severance. The hosts are super intelligent but have a friendly, conversational vibe. They offer keen insights and offer possibilities about the meaning of certain scenes. I will definitely return here after each episode airs in Season 2.

    Love this podcast!!
Just great listening. Thought: how about Rebeck saying that she has a scar on her neck caused by her bird?

    Jame
Please pronounce Jame correctly. It is not pronounced Jamie but rather like lame or tame.

So happy I found this pod
The hosts are well spoken and I really like their coverage. It’s easy to follow their conversations and the hosts all have an air of natural chemistry! They often pick up on things I miss in the episodes, making me go back to rewatch. More of this pod, please!

    Many missed opportunities
I want to like this show but my listening experience has been very frustrating. I try to be generous with amateur podcasts but this leaves a lot to be desired, especially for a pod that is apparently published within a network. 1. The very loud ads placed randomly, in the middle of sentences, are jarring and unpleasant. Intentional ad breaks would be very appreciated. 2. The hosts don’t actually do their research. They don’t know that the town is called Kier, or that it’s MISS Casey, not “Casey”. They suggest that Patricia Arquette is supposed to be 80 years old because she saved a hospital bracelet. But it’s her mother’s bracelet. They haven’t read the Lexington Letter or the original pilot script, both of which explicitly answer many of the questions they ask in the podcast. It’s frankly embarrassing how many details they get wrong. Complete waste of time. 3. Missed opportunities abound. For example, they say “lots of Severance news has come out, like all these new cast members we found out about”, and they proceed to not mention the names of the new cast members. They could have spent time talking about the new actors and speculating about their roles based on their past work. Instead I guess we’re directed to instagram to figure if our on our own. Thankfully I do enjoy the new cohost, who is more knowledgeable than the original two combined. But if you’re here to learn about details you may have missed in the show, this is not the place. You’re much better off perusing the subreddit.

I Can’t Believe they Left Us Severed! 😔
I am a huge Severance fan and have been binging this podcast like crazy. It’s just so great and it’s so much fun to listen to! But…. They promised us they’d finish the last few episodes and now they’ve left us hanging. This has left me distraught. I hope they finish the season.

    Their outies abandoned their innies
I only picked this up in the past two weeks and didn’t realize it’s incomplete. They took a hiatus and said they’d come back but only 1 episode since and 3 left. It doesn’t appear they are gong to finish this so I wouldn’t recommend even starting. Also nitpick ad placement is terrible - literally mid sentences.

Great recaps for a stunning series!
Too bad the season isn’t complete!

    Incomplete
Loving this rewatch, very disappointed the season isn’t finished.

    What I was looking for
I really wanted a deep analytical discussion of this series. They warn in the first episode that they have seen the whole series, so there would naturally be spoilers. Severance was one of the 2 shows I fell totally in love with this year. Can’t wait to listen to them all!

The Full series retrospective and analysis I craved after finishing the show
After watching the the series I really wanted to hear some analyses taking all the episodes into account instead of just episode by episode as though viewed for the first time. I was really excited to find this pod that does exactly that! I’m really looking forward to hearing all about the foreshadowing and clues I missed on my first watch, and how scenes take on a whole new meaning with the context of future episodes!

    Huh?
This is a great show- did these guys even watch the show? Disappointing . . .

    Very Professional and Knowledgeable
This is a terrific recap podcast. I listen to a lot of these, and these guys are extremely knowledgeable of the industry. This gives them credibility that others lack, so their takes on the show carry extra weight. If you are a fan of Severance, you’ll love this show!

    Spoiler Alert
Thought this was a podcast that analyzed Severence episode by episode. Went to listen to the second episode analysis (I’m currently at episode 8), and they gave away major spoilers for the rest of the series. Super bummed.

    Love them!
