    Little Mickey Rooney
Interesting that you noted he looked like the phantom. Because he actually plays the phantom in the Disney channel original movie - phantom of the megaplex!

Great content with a big "but ..."
The topics are great. The research/knowledge is sometimes amazing. The hosting chemistry is strong (a bit too cynical at times, but I do like that in more measured amounts). But there is a "but ..." and it really big "but": These guys laugh/cackle at their own jokes WAAAAAAAY too much. Once they get into this groove, they literally do it every sentence and it just distracts from the show and makes for "do I really want to keep listening to this?" judgement calls. C'mon guys. Dial that back. Pick and choose your times to laugh at your own jokes instead of doing it incessantly ... Otherwise, it's a near-perfect podcast.

    Tolerable Background Noise
I’ll play this in the background while cleaning or cooking. Sometimes it’s interesting, but I often skip the long rants. Please please PLEASE stop wasting our time with the “grumpy cohost” jingle. The curmudgeon act wears thin, though the hosts seem amused by it… and themselves.
  • Jedikatm
    Excellent eclectic podcast
Excellent podcast for those who want a deep dive into fun topics from Taco Bell to the Titanic. Humorous banter and fun sidetracks between the hosts. High recommend for even those odd topics is you may not be initially interested in or know much about.

    Obsessed
I absolutely love it and wanted to counteract some of the recent reviews that were inexplicably harsh. I find this show comforting and heart warming and entertaining.

    My favorite podcast!
I love these guys individually and I love them together. Hilarious, informative and interesting. The best show!

    Sidekick is Terrible
The sidekick is an insufferable, self important cringy douche. Always virtue signaling with condescending comments that make him sound like an obnoxious bully. Unlistenable. This guy definitely screams at himself in the mirror and his parents basement on a daily basis. The main host should definitely find somebody more palatable.

Gotta get this pod into my life
I just listened to the two-part Revolver episode and have to applaud you guys for being funny, insightful and reeling off all sorts of arcana that utterly surprised me. Keep up the awesome work.
  • NightriderCat
    Adderall Slump
Please stop the adderall. Worst host ever. Please stay home. You are so cringy I can feel your teeth grinding. Take a break. Get a grip. It’s pronounced Coffee, like buy me a cup a coffee.

    5 stars , no teeth
I was listening to y’all and I was playing around with my ball and glove and I hit myself in the face straight on , but I kept listening until commercial then I cried and asked my friend if I still had teeth , that’s how good y’all are

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
Excellent podcast gentlemen! Just wanted to write because I was also on who wants to be a millionaire in 2013 with Cedric the entertainer. I also had a bunch of money and then lost it and left with $1000 and I’m pretty sure I had the same beautiful blonde producer or working with me, always love listening to your podcast. I used to fight in the UFC and I was also on Jeopardy! so if you ever have these subjects, I’d love to collaborate if you guys ever do that keep up the great work.
  • SeaRad Music
    One of my faves
Great entertainment with some wit and humor and knowledge. Please do an episode on one of the greatest films of all time— The Big Lebowski. Keep it going!
  • jevjfdhj
    Promising but toxic
I really like the one host and the premise but the music guy host is incredibly immature. I honestly can't believe more of his rants aren't edited out.
  • MetJackJG
Finally a podcast without annoying banter
Keep up the great work, but for the love of all, please fix your audio levels- the break music is way too loud, and the levels between the hosts are out of whack. Makes listening very difficult at times

    Really Fun
Once you accept that it’s two guys that are going to have some OPINIONS that make you roll your eyes, it’s so fun to listen to. Even subjects that I really have no interest in I find myself listening to the whole episode. (Although the ads are incredibly annoying, I know they can’t do anything about it but Jesus if I have to hear that mentality one again). I do get kind of irritated that Alex acts a bit too cool for Jordan sometimes and comes off smug, but then I get over it because his David Letterman-esque delivery of lines is just something you don’t see very often! (And it’s very endearing when they break into fits of giggles when something really gets them. You don’t have to be so serious Alex!) also I really love the “friend of the pod” bit.

    This is my favorite podcast
I’ve been listening since the ad on rivals. I think that was around the second episode. This is my favorite podcast and I’ve listened to every episode multiple times. I’ve heard them talk about people getting in touch with them but I haven’t figured out how. So if you see this please do an episode on a 70s Jackson Browne album or one on Naked Lunch by William Burroughs. Also Con Air takes place on July 14th which is coming up.

    Deeeeep Dive
Super interesting for those who love to see how the sausage is made. So much great info. But why are swear words bleeped out? These are adults speaking to an adult audience. I can’t imagine any children listening.
  • McHolts1
    Hilarious!
Funny and very interesting. I’ve been binge listening to all episodes. Fantastic podcast and very well done.
  • DJ20004
    50/50
The information is interesting and one host is great, but the second host seems so deeply smitten with his own ennui that he is pathologically incapable of entertaining the idea that anything that is or was widely popular could ever be good, as if knee-jerk cynicism is some indication of intellectual maturity.

Davy who’s still in the navy…..
Aw, c’mon you guys. You gotta make fun of Davy’s daughter who lost her dad to a horrible, incurable disease (ALS)? You can be funny without doing that kind of thing. I stopped listening after that.

    Too Much Opinion
You guys do realize that people likely choose episodes based on what they’re interested in so coming literally right out of the gate with the asinine hating is going to significantly dwindle your audience, right? Weird approach!
  • dedeferre
    Love studio 54’ episode
The reason A-listers such as Cher, Gloria Gaynor or Grace Jones would be turned away from studio was because some nights was strictly “Dickly” and gay sex was allowed to be anywhere and everywhere. No women were allowed because they wouldn’t be wanted or partaking. Studio 54 documentary mentioned that.

Amazing Show You Didn’t Know You Needed
I love this show! I get sucked into topics I didn’t think I had any interest in. The hosts really dive deep (like deep deep) into all aspects of what they are discussing. Such a great listen. I look forward to each week’s show and what wealth of information they will deliver.

    Too Much Information
These guys are annoying with their boring personal stories and juvenile maniacal cackling ruining what otherwise could have been an interesting and informative listen.
  • Vron9589
Love the concept but needs work
I really love the concept of the podcast and all of the facts, but the one host, Alex, is insufferable most of the time. The condescension is too much. Constantly trash talking everything. He comes across as a stereotypical music major that I’d actively avoid at a social gathering. Please just be less insulting, because it’s a really great podcast other than that.
  • Lt8908
    Disgusted by the ads
Listened happily for a few episodes and was generally enjoying the content, interesting anecdotes about nostalgic pop culture topics. Then, ads started coming on for some predatory company trying to use fear mongering and conservative propaganda to hawk “investment gold”. Unclear if the podcast creators have a hand in choosing advertisers or if iHeart is inserting ads they’ve chosen independently. I can’t I’m good conscience support either one, knowing they are accepting money from advertisers like this and allowing this rhetoric to be spread. This content purposefully sows division for profit, it is deeply consequential and deeply harmful. Shame on all involved.

    Never enough TMI
Lovers of kitschy trivia will love this podcast. Jordan and Alex have great chemistry together. Even topics that aren’t in my wheelhouse have so much behind the scenes information, I find myself listening raptly and laughing along with their quips and jokes.
  • Lefty8er
Stick to the original two hosts
The third host on the Beetlejuice episode did nothing for the podcast. Please don’t do that again.
  • TaffyDavenport
    We’re Adults, Right?
… so why do they keep bleeping out the “offensive” language? It’s more annoying to have to listen to a loud bleeping noise in my earphones than a stupid swear word. I like the discussions, but let’s bring it up to a grownup level, please.
  • Monokids
    Suggested episodes
Love the show- not sure how you select episodes or what parameters you have to abide by when selecting for legal and other reasons, but I do have some movies/tv shows that would seem to have interesting storylines and people. Also I had no idea how to email these suggestions so figured posting it would do the trick. Below are suggestions for your consideration: - Beatlejuice - Red Dawn ( original) - Big Trouble in Little China -Splash -Willy Wonka ( original) - The Dark Crystal -Flashdance -Diff’rent Strokes -The A-Team ( TV show not the terrible movie) -Knight Rider ( TV show) I now realize everything in this list is pre-2000, but who cares, they are classics damnit. Thanks for your consideration.

    Such an interesting podcast
I’ve been really enjoying the episodes since I found this podcast last week. I love behind the scenes facts. I have to say, I love that you talked about your childhood titanic obsession. It definitely made me laugh because my 8 yr old has been interested in the titanic since he’s been 4 or 5. I really don’t even remember how he found out about it, but I’m glad he’s not the only kid lol. He hasn’t gone as far as wanting to be the captain for Halloween, but he does have a few knock off lego titanics built, regularly asks to watch the movie (he doesn’t believe me that he’d be bored with most of it) and about 2 weeks ago, he brought a drawing home from school of the titanic.

    Ambivalent
I have enjoyed a lot of episodes of this show, but at times the hosts come across as incredibly smug. I don’t know why they cover subjects for which they have such disdain. I would enjoy it more if they were more enthusiastic and less pompous.

    Too much fun
Just listened to the Hotel Calif. episode and these guys were having way too much fun with the episode. Definitely a good podcast filled with great info

    New favorite show
TMI has become my new favorite show! I love the hosts and their rapport, I especially love learning behind the scenes stories about movies i loved as a kid. I crack up by myself in the car listening to this which is my ultimate barometer for a good show!! Thank you for keeping me company, TMI!

    900 stars!
Jordan and Alex give incredibly researched overviews of pop-culture gems from our past, and nearly all of them are things that feel so specific to my childhood, every single episode is a hit of nostalgia and a blast. Just when I think I know everything about Disney’s Aladdin, Jordan and Alex pack my brain with stuff I didn’t think I needed to know but it turns out I do.
  • HelterL
    Hilarious, informative and fun!!
I absolutely love this show- these guys are HILARIOUS! I often find myself smiling or laughing out loud in the middle of whatever I’m doing. I love the juxtaposition of Jordan’s more positive, wholesome perspective mixed with Alex’s more cynical, irreverent humor, but really they both have a good balance of each and I also appreciate a good self deprecating joke. It’s apparent that they have a love of their craft- pop culture trivia and commentary, which they seem to have down to an art form. It’s impressive how much these guys know. I also gotta give props to them for a choosing an eclectic and interesting mix of pop culture to feature. Loved the episode on Aja as much as I did the one on The Parent Trap. Unexpected. Keep em’ coming guys. I’m hooked!

These guys perfectly balance the journalistic / informational format with the hangout-style podcast. Always a pleasure!

    Love this podcast!
Podcast is always interesting! And having heard the episodes about Austin Powers and the Beatles Revolver it makes me wonder when will they do am episode on All You Need Is Cash starring The Rutles. Fingers crossed!

    An utter delight
I absolutely love this show! Alex and Jordan are hilarious and learning the inside stories about some of my favorite movies, music and TV is my favorite part of my morning walks. These guys put in the work! I cannot recommend this one enough. Highly recommend the Oreos episode. It goes places you will not expect

    Variety
The perfect variety for your everyday entertainment! Jordan and Alex not only provide precise details and relevant information about pop culture but do it in a humorous and enjoyable manner!

    Inaccurate information
    *two thumbs down*
  • LesterBangsWasHere
Bring on more guest hosts that actually enjoy things.
This is such a great concept for a show. I get so excited for some episodes, only to have Alex lazily moan (sometimes brag) that he doesn’t like or know the topic of discussion. He then makes no attempt to do any research to sound… cool? Added a star because I used to hate-listen while I did chores and it made me finish faster.
  • Sliderocity
Everything I want/need in a podcast as a pop culture nerd
The bait was the Legends of the Hidden Temple episode, and from then on, I’ve been hooked. The amount of research and background Jordan/Alex are able to surface and convey about each topic is truly remarkable and with very few exceptions, I’ve found all of the episodes I’ve listened to extremely enjoyable.
  • M3861370
    Two woke angry haters
Two music snobs who share their politics every chance they get. Like most critics they’ve obviously failed in some aspect of the business, as they seem to hate anyone who’s attained the success that they’ve failed at. Unless masochism’s your thing, look elsewhere.
  • NER0/
Disdain for anything that isn’t New York
Unable to keep their politics and elitism to themselves. Typical sort of contempt for anything that an average person might enjoy and with the undeserved arrogance that typifies millennials. All episodes include calling someone they don’t know a racists and then blame all problems on boomers, like a child would do.
  • tahoemud
    Incredible research
This is a podcast that delivers the goods! Funny, informative, well researched, and always entertaining.
