Love this show, on the whole
Entertainingly funny way to ingest scientific topics. However, the laddishness went way overboard when the episode about the worst pain in the world included no examples of women & anesthesia for childbirth was fleetingly mentioned once. Generally, however, the hosts are much more sensitive to privilege and racism, which is a plus.

    Learning and laughing
Two of my favorite things are learning and laughing. I do both every week with these two. The perfect combination of high minded and low brow. I have a Masters degree but I’m not a master of anything. I feel your pain, Dr. Michael Brooks!!!

    Science for Non-Science Lovers
If you liked the content of your biology class, but hated your biology teacher who was phoning it in, this show is for you. Rick and Michael are v easy-going as they help us make sense of the world around us. Great listen that makes me smile.

    Great Show
Easily one of the best general science shows around. The hosts have great rapport and manage to give insight without talking down to the audience. Great to have them back.
