I love these guys and their podcast. But everything they talk about has gotten so topical and politically charged that it just feels unlistenable. I truly miss the old days of this podcast when it was funny and they talked about sports. This is a sports podcast and should unite people instead of ripping them further apart.

I want to love this series. I love Distractible's formula because they stay on topic usually, keeping small talk to less than a third of the episode, usually. But its a podcast for fans of those three's personalities. GMFST spends like 15-30 mins on small talk/j'accuses sometimes! Its like 80% not sports vs 20% sports. The best episodes are the ones that go really in depth, or had guest athletes speakers on. I've tried having my partner listen to a several episodes on sports he is interested in but I switch off 2/3rds through because the topic just isnt going anywhere. I want more sports!

I just listened to the most recent episode of GMFST and I am appalled, appalled I say! Of Mark’s blatant lack of belief in the Fair Folk and Men O’ Green. Don’t be surprised when you come down with ill fortune or health after slighting the Fair Ones. Good Day to you both, Happy New Year.

So when I found this podcast, I was doing an assignment for a class that was pretty important and it’s probably the best decision I’ve made because it’s the best sports podcast I’ve listened to. It’s got a good mix of Mark being Mark and Tyler trying to give valuable information which is hilarious. Heavily recommend this to people who want to learn things about sports and have a good laugh every now and again.

This show gets derailed so often that it’s frustrating to listen to at times. I get that mark doesn’t know sports and Tyler does a great job at either moving the topic on or humoring him, but mark needs to listen. It’s like listening to a child ask questions but not pay attention to the answer

I thoroughly enjoy this podcast, but I’m waiting on them to talk about combat sports too. If you’re going to integrate mark into the sports world, you gotta talk about the fastest growing sport (MMA)

Great show, every episode is funny and educational. I love it

i really like this podcast, the only reason i gave it three stars instead of five is because i'm not huge on sports personally, but if you enjoy sports, or like me want to learn more basics about sports, this is the podcast for you. i like their personalities and i like how they flow together, especially since there are bits not always about sports. it's comedy too!

maybe talk about highschool athletes and how hard it can be to be a varsity athlete with high academic expectations? also, idk if a volleyball or ultimate frisbee primer has been done yet. that could be cool!

This is just like distractible minus bob wade winners and plus sports i think its absolute gold and honestly i think its great they give tyler something to do that he’s actually interested in cause he just isnt as big a gamer as mark , bob and wade. All in all this is a very good podcast and use it every day for my recreational time thanks mark and friends for such good content and for the content to come!

It’s a great podcast, for sports fans, and sports passersby alike! I’d really love to hear more unusual sports that aren’t usually covers, like dogsledding! Your both great, (and your editorial team) and huge kudos to the entire team making this possible!

I usually like Mark but this podcast isn’t funny or entertaining at all, it’s just hyped up by fans. On top of that I honestly think the main concept of it is stupid and I don’t really see how it could last so long. Like compared in the sense that the base format of Distractible being a sort of “rotation with winners and losers and random discussion topics” has so much more potential to be timelessly entertaining. This whole show’s existence seems to be just to try to appeal to the large market of sports podcast listeners while trying to painfully inject comedy.

This podcast so far is really good and it really helps me understand sports outside of the US also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO MORE MOTORSPORTS I LOVE THAT STUFF yeah so a NASCAR or F1 primer would be nice

Love the podcast and it’s very entertaining except for when Tyler goes on his boring 15 minute long rants when everyone tunes him out.

I love thé podcast and have listened to at least 30 of them while doing homework, I would love to see an episode about lacrosse though!

A good basic introduction to some sports I like it as a woman who is just getting into sports due to watching things like wrestling and ufc. I know very little about sports but this is a fun and very funny listen. Both have nice voices to listen to and funny commentary I don’t always agree with what they joke about or say but Tyler seems to know enough and have things to say . Markiplier is fun and funny to learn with . I’m surprised Mark didn’t know anything about Curling because curling looks entertaining and fun but if you don’t know it does kinda seem like they are just sweeping the ice or the floor .

my mom says tyler sounds like adam scott 10/10 also they should talk about roller derby!!

This podcast made me realize I liked listening to people talk about sports vs actually watching sports, it also made me realize I liked soccer more than I originally thought. Overall an amazing experience and a great way to learn about sports in a fun way

I came into this podcast being a Markiplier fan since early 2010s and recently started listening to more podcasts. I started listening to this one as background noise, but then Tyler started making good points of how sports can be a great influence to anyone. For reference, I was in a few extracurricular activities; ballet, swim team, basketball and ran a few marathons. Being the new kid no one really wanted to be friends or talk to me during training and even events. Even my coaches didn’t take an interest of me. No one really supported me except my mom. After several episodes, Tyler made me realize that I shouldn’t keep the bad memories of how I was treated, but the accomplishments I made. One example is learning breath control in swimming to manage my asthma better and even being able to teach others how to swim. This is a great podcast for new and old sports fans alike. (And of course a few funny moments.)

Great podcast but I have an episode idea. What if you did a follow up to the baseball primer and did an episode dedicated to the different types of baseball pitches. P.S. also if you do the episode I wouldn’t mind a shoutout

Been great hearing your episodes guys! I’ve heard lots of episodes regarding football, tennis, fishing, racing sometimes chess, etc. I’m not sure if you’ve guys have done this (if you haven’t yet) you guys could cover the sport of hunting. Thx for going on strong for over a year, for the mind-melding laughters and for Mark looking like what I call a “Proper Idiot”😉😅 (don’t worry Mark, you’re still golden in your other podcast with your other idiot friends). Thx also Tyler for being the idiot in some shares that Mark isn’t alone😅 but you’re still as good as him. Are you two partners in crime or is someone the mastermind with their helpful minion?
