HUGE fan of Joe Pomp’s who which tells interesting stories in the world of sports business in succinct, unique and easy to understand ways. This is the only podcast that I never miss an episode of. Highly recommend.

Fantastic pod that tells the behind the scenes stories that I love about “how” and “why” and “the rest of the story”. The only thing is - he spits out stats, which I enjoy, so fast that I can’t fully grasp it all in one listen. The short episodes are perfect lengths for me to listen to 2-3 times to get all the info he is laying out for us. Love this podcast!

Joe covers the exact stuff in life that I am most fascinated by and he does it so clearly. He is a great follow on X as well.

Pod has gone downhill massively recently. Went from a single topic that was very in depth, to now trying to cover 3-5 topics an episode with just surface level stuff. On top of that, we don't need a 3 minute intro summary of what you're talking about. You already have a pod title. Just get into it. We also don't need you to tell us "You're going to enjoy this" at the start of every single pod. If we don't enjoy it, we'll stop listening. But the worst offender: the amount of ads has at least tripled recently. Terribly cut in, and 1/3 of the episode is ads now. Ridonkulous.

For a 13 minute pod to sometimes have 4+ minutes of ads is kind of bananaland.

Great pod to learn something in a quick and easy to understand format about sports. Love the variety of the content. Anyone who works in business and love sports or anyone who is inquisitive, this podcast is for you!

This is a great podcast to listen to if you wanna know the business, numbers, and analytics behind the scenes in the sports and entertainment industry. Joe does a great job of breaking everything down while also making it easy for the general audience to understand. Every episode is always very fascinating and i always end up learning something new! This show fills a niche by going over topics not discussed elsewhere. Really interesting topics and well researched! Great show and highly recommend! My feedback for the host is he uses the word “perspective” too often. It’s said so frequently that it can be distracting from the content.

Good insight

I started following Joe years ago on Twitter and love his insight on the business of sports. He is very accurate in what he details as I have worked in sports my whole life. I thought his tweets were great, but the podcast is even better! Thank you Joe for putting this together.

Discovered ‘The Joe Pomp Show’ a few weeks back and haven’t missed an episode since. The content looks at the business and the $ behind all the major events shaping the sports landscape today. It provides detail and insight that you simply don’t get on the sports pages. I also give the show credit for not being too US-centric; sure, there’s plenty of content on the major US sports (I’d be disappointed if there wasn’t) but recent episodes have also taken in-depth looks at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, Wimbledon, and the Tour de France to name just three. Meticulously researched and engagingly presented, on a ~3x/week schedule, each episode clocks in around 20 mins, which is a perfect length for my listening habits. Unlike so many sports podcasts, which assume that we all enjoy listening to a group of jock types sharing in-jokes among bro’s and bantering about nothing in particular for 75% of the run time, The Joe Pomp Show is all substance from start to finish. Highly recommend.

It doesn’t matter whether you have an interest in the sport, you’ll be interested in the information covered. The material is kind of like a good crab cake: lots of meat without the filler. To the point in an entertaining way at a length that you don’t have to pause it, because you won’t want to.

Generally a good quick podcast made even quicker by the host. Talking way too fast. I wonder if the sound engineers ever listen to the product after the recordings. Voice level up and down too much you miss half of some sentences

This podcast is definitely top 3 in my book. It is different from the typical podcasts you find out there. Joe Pomp has found a niche and is exploiting it pretty well.

Very interesting and informative podcast. A detail you overlooked for the “fan experience” is the Masters’ “no cell phones, no cameras” policy. This ensures nearly every fan is “in the moment” of the main event— golf. Makes for a special and fun day of immersion!

Joe is a legend. He knows EVERYTHING about sports and finance and this guy is a BEAST!! One of the best in the biz and makes everything entertaining while also being educational.

Legit. That is the word that comes to mind about Joe’s show. This man comes from good stock….he and his brothers inspire me daily with their content and ideas they share. I have been able to get my younger bro on board with Joe’s content, too, and I hope to bring more people to awareness of the technology and financial literacy of the future.
