This podcast is great for people all ages! There is generation wisdom on this podcast, whether it’s personal experience from middle aged men or shared experiences from their children and their elders. There’s just lots of wisdom, and generational wisdom!

This podcast has continued to get better and better. The conversations are deep, the belief is strong and the wisdom shared is so good. Just finished the episodes with Sage Steele. Wow! That was powerful.

Pastor J, and David Pollack so such a great job diversify how they get across the Bible, parenting, joy, roles, and a lot more. They incorporate so many life skills and concepts that helps me grow in many ways. These fellas would love to know they strengthened my relationship with God and Jesus!👍 Thank you!!

I just found this podcast 2weeks ago and I am 20 episodes in. My fiancé and myself have just moved and just found a new home church and I am trying to incorporate church in our house. This was never done for me growing up, nor my fiancé, and none of this has been done for his son in either household. I have used some of these episodes as guidelines to do this, as well as being a good bonus mom. When I hear a good one that I think my S.O. needs to hear I will re listen to it with him and then discuss the episode together. Listening to y’all makes me wish that I lived in Georgia and could attend church with y’all and your families

Not enough words to truly explain the truths and enlightening wisdom shared by all in this amazing podcast. To be honest, on one hand I wish growing up I was surrounded by such Christ like minded people. I’ll probably would have less regrets in my life. At the same time it gives me hope that there are many men of GOD out there, that society doesn’t really want to talk about, that are constantly seeking to be true men of GOD and therefore men of valor. I truly appreciate you all for following the Holy Spirit to share your personal life moments, which are immeasurable blessings for so many men and families in our country and in the world. For a long time I’ve looked for a Christian podcast that was real and not so stereotypical. I have finally found it. The wisdom and authenticity from two men that are in the next two stages of life from me is refreshing to hear!

This is a great podcast. I love the authenticity that each of these gentlemen have. I love the conversations about being a parent and what all parents are going through. Thanks for doing another season.

This is great pod learned a lot of things to use in my marriage

I have been listening to the podcast in the car with my son. As a single mom, I’m finding great value in my son hearing the conversations between David & Pastor J. There are things that I’ve told my son over and over (choosing friends wisely, attitude/effort are more important than victory) which he just kind of brushes off. When he hears this in the podcast he perks up a little bit and it’s making a bigger impression than just me telling him. Episodes are funny, but also provide biblical advice and they are authentic. Love it!!

I enjoyed this podcast immensely! It’s refreshing to hear personal stories of mistakes and failures from people you admire; very relatable (and often hilarious)! A great reminder that we’re not perfect, and we’re not expected to be. The advice is Godly, doctrinally-sound, and delivered in a way that doesn’t feel condescending or “preachy”. Some Christian podcasts leave me feeling “heavy”, but Family Goals left me feeling “seen” and inspired. Davey and Pastor J do an excellent job simply being themselves. It feels authentic and honest. I usually speed up my podcasts to 1.5x, but I didn’t for Family Goals; I wanted to catch all the details, especially the stories! I do wish the episodes were a bit longer, and I’d love to hear marriage-centered conversations in the future. Their episodes stand out from other podcasts in the same genre; they have a unique vibe and conversational style that’s enjoyable for the audience. Looking forward to future content!
