Meh?

Sound editing and music are perfect. Actors are screechy and over the top (most of them.) The concept feels like Nightmare on Elm Street 3 without Freddy. Some good scares but overall not very memorable.

Spooky but kinda cringe

I really like the storyline and how spooky it is, although the way the characters try so hard to appeal to gen-z, like when esme in the first episode was using terms like “no cap”, “hit different” “high-key” and “total affirmation aesthetics” it was kinda cringy, but i love everything else

Decent and interesting but….

I love thrillers and sci-fi, overall concepts like this. I am conflicted about this podcast. There is is some overacting and singing (it’s kinda cringy tbh) but it has sone good bones. I think sone ideas should have been fleshed out more. If there is a season 2 I’ll listen to it but hopeful I singing haha

The production, the story, the voice acting, all second to few or even none. Couldn’t be happier for this crew and their excellent work on this show. Amazing

I absolutely love this show! I was hooked from the beginning but just like there series of bridge water, I’m missing there daily episode!!!!!! 20 out of 10 though! I LOVED THIS PODCAST IT WQS AMAZING AND GAVE ME CHILLS!!!!! I do think the Finn character was creepy and made me a little uncomfortable but it’s part of the story soooo I went with it, overall amazing!!!

Give the cheesy overacting a break

This started out like it could be okay. Very quickly turned into overacting and grandiose emotions almost like a robot wrote what they thought a pre-teen would experience. The over the top positive, you-can-do-it, ra-ra garbage was the worst coupled with the lazy happy ending for everyone becoming wildly successful. I wish I could unhear this podcast. Also if you don’t like musicals don’t listen as this will make you want to poke pencils into your eardrums.

gripping plot & lovable characters

you know that thing in a story where you get a theory about what’s going, but then other things happen that make you think that’s probably not it, but then you were right the whole time? god i love that, that’s a sign of good structure. that was one of my experiences with this story

Conflicted, but overall good!

I really like the story, the sound design/special effects, and the voice actors are great. However, it's the minor details that leave me conflicted. Only episode I had to fastforward through was the musical one. Then there's the character Fin. I can never tell whose side he's ACTUALLY on, and then there's the fact that he comes off as almost a shady older male type that just wants to get with Julia & Harper...? It's really uncomfortable sometimes with their interactions. Also, I've come to like her, but making Esmay's character the "ditzy extra-woke, Gen Z" type during our first introduction to her made my eyes physically hurt from rolling so hard. But overall the story and other characters have kept me interested enough to finish this through!

This podcast is haunting and engaging! Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat. Great for Halloween too. Never thought an audio podcast could feel so real!

Fiction podcast??

Honestly wasn’t sure about a fictional podcast as I normally listen to some political podcasts as well as mostly true crime with murder, missing people and swindled! But absolutely love this podcast! It’s awesome! Been telling other podcast friends to listen to it!

I can’t, I just can’t.

Man I hate rhyming and I think I’ll leave at that, because this podcast is pretty bad. Lots of ads, decent story, a most excellent voice casting. But one thing that bothers my most deepest desires is rhyming… it’s rhyming get it if that is any indication of what the future of this podcast I want no part in it. That killed it for me.

Room for improvement…

So far the story is alright. I enjoy the concept a lot, but the pacing is so odd. There’s only 4 episodes so far and I feel like it’s moved on from the two part introduction extremely fast. There’s definitely some plot holes and not a ton of back story for any character, not even the main one. For a podcast that’s barely a half hour per episode, the amount of ad time is absurd. The first 2.5 minutes of every single episode is all advertisements. Then, there’s also another 2-3 minute break with MORE ads smack in the middle of each episode. It’s disappointing when you expect 30 minutes of content, and between all the ads, music transitions, and slow dialogue, you’re lucky if there’s 20 minutes of content. It’s decent, but definitely has room for improvement.

honestly i’m kinda young to be listening to this but it was so good. i’ve never heard such a real podcast i felt like i’m in a dream when i put on my headphones and close my eyes. I totally recommend.

Who wrote this?

In the first episode, we’re introduced to the other people at the center and one of them is clearly voiced by an adult woman who’s playing a gen z character written by a boomer. Ridiculous. Couldn’t get past that. Literally she says “no cap, her research is amazing. And this place is total affirmation aesthetic. Such a vibe” or some other nonsense. Now I see why they’re promoting this podcast so aggressively - probably the only way anyone would listen…

Just In Time For Spooky Season

Wow, I love this podcast so far. I'm finding myself attached to the characters already, and the music and sound has blown me away. This is the perfect show to get you in the mood for Halloween, and the 3D aspect really adds another layer to it. So cool!
