The choice of “Fortitude” as the show’s namesake speaks volumes to me. In a world filled with uncertainty and adversity, the power of fortitude in overcoming life’s challenges cannot be overstated. I am looking forward to Emily and Jake share fresh updates, stories and reflections with us and their guests. For me, Jake and Emily’s authenticity and vulnerability seem to create a space of openness and acceptance, especially as I get older. I feel comfortable exploring my own 67 year old hopes, fears and dreams once again without knowing the all the answers. Seems life keeps turning me upside down. I want to learn some new ways to approach life, rethinking business with a younger mindset and staying healthy. There is so much to learn. And one of the show’s most compelling aspects is its emphasis on empowering faith - the belief in trusting God’s plans and taking bold actions. I am trimming down listening to certain podcast this year because they do not remind me to build my my faith in my actions.
