    Very well done
Great podcast. You are being more than fair to the LDS faith. It seems to me that when one starts with the conclusion “Mormonism”, any critical analysis of facts/doctrine of Mormonism can be deemed “antagonistic” or “aggressive”. Put on your big boy pants Mormons and stop with your logical fallacies

    Devouring episodes
This podcast is just phenomenal. I've listened to several deconstruction/challenging Mormonism podcasts and this one steals the show. One of my favorite things about RR is that Scott incorporates broader philosophy, and from a wide variety of sources (Classical Greek, Buddhism, etc) Lots of podcasts focus more on the empathy and/or ethical problems of the church (also good stuff) but I love getting into the theological and existential roots of these issues. Scott also has great writing, great research, and a voice that's easy to listen to. I can't recommend this podcast enough.

    Thoughtful and fair
I was looking for a good unbiased podcast on the topic of LDS theology for ages. This is right on the other side of the line from fair Mormon and hits just right IMO. Sometime I feel like he is reading my mind. Scott is honest, thoughtful, calm in tone, I think very fair, and not afraid to point out the flaws in his own line of thinking when they arise. Plus some amazing interviews sprinkled in. Start at the beginning and work your way through. You won’t be disappointed.

    Episodes 18 & 19
I have really appreciated this podcast and for Scott’s easy going way as he approaches issues in the church. I have loved all the interviews he has done and especially the episodes with Kajsa Berlin-Kaufusi. She was articulate and sincere and I found her story resonating with my own on many of the issues. Thank you, this is has been a hard journey. It’s nice to have the support.

    Excellent!!!
This podcast has been extremely helpful as I deconstruct 45 years of faithful membership in the LDS church. I appreciate Scott and the way he presents the information. It’s very easy to follow and helps me see things in the church I’ve always felt weird about. It’s all making sense now and giving me courage to leave, knowing I’m not alone. Thank you!!

    Thoughtful, compelling, insightful, challenging…
I am a longtime listener to Scott’s podcast ever since he started it up last year. Each episode I am delightfully surprised by his deeply thoughtful questions and insights. They have helped me approach matters of faith and religious dogma with more nuance and more of an open mind on what is true v. what is possible. The mysteries of what could be are far more compelling than the claims of what is. If you are interested in challenging institutional thinking and giving yourself freedom to explore, than this podcast is perfect for you.

    Outstanding, deep thinking podcast
Scott’s brief episodes has caused me to consider additional perspectives in my life especially with respect to Mormonism. More and more I’m able to break thru the cocoon I have allowed to be wrapped around me by trusting others and not thinking for myself. I guess in retrospect I really was a ‘lazy learner’, leaving it to others to decide what’s good for me and not stopping to consider the true facts of the history, consequences and decisions at the highest levels within the church. Scott has helped me to make it impossible to see things as i had seen them before. My deep thanks for him and his continuing work. Francis

    Not afraid to go deep
As a non-Mormon I find Scott’s reflections on faith and deconstruction fascinating. I also appreciate his warm, respectful attitude and great voice.

    Well-thought ruminations!
This is my favorite podcast! Scott uses excellent critical thinking skills combined with compassion to make very valid points without being a know-it-all. Love his attitude and thought process.

A super philosophical journey into Mormonism
I love listening to this podcast when I want to enter my deepest reflections about what I gave up – and what I’ve gained – when I left. Scott has just the right way of keeping me in tune with what’s healthy to focus on! (And he has a beautiful voice, too!)
