    Balanced
Mostly informative, I have difficulty listening to Krystal happy dancing anytime she thinks the U.S. will fail. I respect liberal views but we are all in this together.

    The Best!
I’ve been listening to Breaking Points for years. Krystal and Saager are very intelligent and bring their authentic takes on the news every day.

    Truly independent media
Krystal and Sagaar provide the most honest and in depth coverage that can be found. While they have different political leanings , they hold consistent values and aren’t beholden to any corporation or administration. Not only do they help me stay informed, but they help me understand other different perspectives.

    Big change, bad faith
The whole premise of your show is gone since the election. It turns out this whole “two points of view” thing was a scam. The headlines are purely Democrat click bait. The Right is not represented on this show unless Emily is on. The Republicans used to have a voice but are now more like RINOs, letting unmedicated Krystal rant like a hysterical banshee. She has no respect for anyone’s opinion but her own. This show is Democrat propaganda masquerading as balanced healthy debate. It didn’t used to be like this. Congratulations you’re no better than the mainstream media. One way ticket to being irrelevant.

    Something for everyone
Flaws and all, I consider all the hosts of BP and CP to be leaders in today’s media environment bc they challenge the status quo/power structures in the way they provide commentary and context to news. Obviously, Krystal and Saager are polarizing and I lose my head sometimes but the balance of hate in the reviews says something lol. Even if it’s not this show, everyone should find independent news they trust.

    My #1 channel
Breaking Pts, Kyle, Vanguard, respectively, are now my go to news channels daily now. Love Krystal’s clear interpretations.

    Refreshing
So refreshing to hear (mostly) sane voices from both the left and the right. I adore Krystal, Saagar, Ryan, and Emily and look forward to listening to them every day. While I often disagree with Saagar and Emily, I think it’s important not to be in an echo chamber.

    Avid listener for 6 years
F the haters leaving negative reviews. I’ve been listening to Saagar and Krystal since The Hill days. I of course disagree with both of their analysis at times, but I still genuinely believe they bring a balanced news diet to their subscribers. They bring on a wealth of experts to talk in detail about a wide array of current affairs. They have given Ryan Grim and Emily Jashinsky a wonderful platform to participate and bring their perspectives in. Ryan is an OG and maybe the most trusted journalist I’ve come across. No news source is perfect. If it was then you just like hearing echo chamber propaganda. Breaking Points is a must listen and I recommend it to everyone who is genuinely interested in receiving a balanced discussion.

    Losing interest
I enjoyed this podcast when I first began listening to it, but since the election Saagar goes off on these hateful rants, yelling and talking over Krystal, and just raging against “wokeism.” He used to be reasonable and firm on his opinions, but he has flipped a switch. It’s annoying to even try to listen anymore. There are much better commentators elsewhere.

    Things have changed
This used to be a balanced perspective, but I can’t listen to episodes with Krystal anymore. She interrupts everyone and is so emotional that it’s hard to take her information as such. I enjoy episodes with Ryan who conveys information in an informed but rational way.

    Love This Podcast
I love that this podcast challenges power structures and the hosts are not afraid to offer their opinions even if it goes against both political parties.

    Change for the Worse
I used to listen to yall for a balanced news report. Since Trump was elected your daily titles are completely partisan and click bate in nature. If I want my limbic system hijaked I can just go back to CNN.

    Krystal took her meds
Update: Back to 5 stars after Kyrstal refilled her Xanax. Best show ever. Listening to Krystal's ramblings and complaining about reality while Saagar has to defend himself with simple facts is getting old. Krystal needs to go.

    Best News Program Out There!!
I love Breaking Points so much! It is honestly the ONLY news organization I trust. Krystal, Saagar, Ryan and Emily give in-depth coverage and insight every single day, keeping me informed on daily news and events. I encourage everyone I know to follow their podcast. In my opinion, you do not get more rational and balanced coverage anywhere.

    MSNBC2.0
I use to recommend breaking points for their balanced reporting, but now most of the time Emily goes along to get along , Ryan drags through some sad story from some “source” , and saggar when he is on the show puts up a fight unless he doesn’t care then just caves to Krystal. Even their thumbnails look like secular talk click bait. Sad

    Ryan is great!
Ryan has this intellectual kind of dry humor that’s well informed and weirdly dialed in to pop culture. Not to mention his in depth reporting. I’m sure it goes over most people’s heads because they just want someone to entertain them…but everyone on this show is great and I really enjoy the mix and match episodes. Love to hear everyone’s take. Saw someone hating on Ryan and had to show him some love. Everyone is great. This show actually makes me laugh. They say the things we’re all thinking but with some very well informed insights. Wish all news was like this…but until then…there’s Breaking Points!
  • I hate999reasons
    Saagar is an apologist
Krystal is the only reason why this show is bearable.
  • PodcastAddict99
    Krystal is the weak link!
Any episode without Krystal is great. She interrupts constantly and will shove her world views down your throat. Saagar and Ryan is easily the best combo but sadly it’s rare we get that.
  • Corcorbigor
    They’re both nuts
She gets emotional. He gives conservatives a pass and engages in conspiracy theories. What could go wrong? Sounds like an ABC comedy from the 90’s.

    Unsubscribed - Want Krystal Gone
I’ve been an avid listener for YEARS, but can’t take it anymore. Saagar used to be able to share so much about the inner workings of DC, like the politics at play, who is supporting who (and why), and the ripple effects different policies could make our cultural and financial landscapes. However, since the election, Krystal has done nothing but derail the thought train. Now it just feels like legacy media, with shouting and emotional arguments that lack or even defy logic. The show is no longer for the listener - it’s a venting ground for the left leaning hosts. Guess I’ll have to start searching (again) for another information-based news outlet.

    Get rid of Ryan
Breaking Points is my go-to source for news and politics. I love the balance between Krystal and Saagar and how they understand modern times and aren’t stuck presenting news in the old NBC or fox ways of the past. What I can’t get past however is how unbelievably BORING Ryan is. Within 5 seconds of him speaking I find myself losing focus and struggling to pay attention. He seems like a nice enough and smart guy however his meandering thoughts and horrible cadence are so off putting. Every day I now look at who will be on the show and I will skip the episodes that he is a part of. Please consider bringing in someone else who is more engaging and geared towards content based on audio.
  • Modo Man
    Time to Separate
Used to listen more regular. Ever since Krystal’s obsession with “billionaire boogey man Elon” the show became a total turn off. Saagar still sounds reasonable. Unfortunately Krystal just sounds more like a hack every day. Sad!
  • Samo17
    No longer enjoyable
This show has devolved into Krystal screeching about Elon 80% of the time. The latest episode on the deportations was unbearable. She would ask a question, interrupt, and then repeat. Too bad, it used to be somewhat informative.
  • Krt9876
    What happened?
As a moderate conservative, I’ve enjoyed Breaking Points. It gave a nuanced perspective outside of mainstream media. However, I feel the show is becoming less news/fact based and instead, engages in punditry on a consistent basis (I know exactly what Krystal is going to say about any given topic- Sagaar is a little more unpredictable). Listening to Emily and Ryan is more informative and tolerable. Krystal is way too emotional- and no, that’s not meant to disparage women- it’s just a fact- I say that as a woman. I would like to know how many times Saagar has said, ‘I agree,’ to Krystal. And vice versa- for the sake of balance.
  • Soly-tary
    Tough listen
I really appreciate the informative aspect of the show but struggle with debate portions or interviews, mostly because Krystal can't help but talk over everyone. Why invite someone on your show for an interview and not let them answer your question. It's ok to ask a short/direct question and then be quiet. She answers her own question before the guest even gets a chance. Ryan and Emily do it right, Wednesday is always the best episode of the week.
  • Codyfl2
Krystal what did Kyle do to you?
This show used to be the best, now Krystal’s gone crazy since being with the “man”. Poor Sagaar…

Schumer’s Vote Change was for Israel
ChatGPT: “Occam’s Razor”—the principle that the simplest explanation, requiring the fewest assumptions, is usually the correct one. Applying this to Schumer’s sudden reversal: 1. Schumer says he’ll vote no. 2. Two days later, he reverses his position with a weak excuse. 3. Two days after that, Israel resumes bombing Gaza. 4. Netanyahu likely wouldn’t have risked launching an attack during a U.S. government shutdown, as it could delay military aid. The simplest explanation? Schumer changed his vote because Israel, via AIPAC and its influence network, needed uninterrupted U.S. support before launching its next offensive. His excuse about government services was just a smokescreen. That’s not speculation—it’s just following the money, the timing, and the geopolitical reality.” It’s also why Schumer can raise so much money. He works for Israel, not Americans.

Like that we get to hear from two points of view
With that said, Saagar is too often dismissive to the actual lawlessness that is happening with the current administration. I wish he would keep the same standards for trump that he had with Biden. Krystal and Ryan had no issue holding the Democratic Party to account. Why can’t the right do that. All they care about is “owning the libs”, it just stands out to me how they have no principles.
  • Gblizzied
Don’t know how Saagar deals with Krystal
The entire episode on 17th March- was ridiculous. Krystal spent 2hrs exhibiting her moral superiority complex and just yelled at Saagar who tried to present facts. No idea how he co-hosts with her, she’s is AWFUL.
  • Taikorhythm
Krystal is as biased and angry as they come!
Saagar, please please part ways from Krystal! She comes across so angry and biased. And, she comes across as certain that what she knows is all there is to know. Saagar, please get her to shut up sometimes or take her exit.
  • rcoombs
Disappointed with the tone of the show lately
I used to LOVE this podcast. I’ve recommended it to many of my friends. I used to love hearing Krystal’s take on political issues however, since November, she sounds so disgusted with everything going on with this administration. I wish she would tone down her disgust a little. She is putting off a lot of listeners.
  • bellsbellsbellsss
Where can I hear Saagar’s take? Not here
Lately seems like Krystal interrupts, overtalks, insists, dies on every hill. Does Saagar get a fair time slot. Even let him monopolize once in awhile? I want to hear 2 sides but apparently Krystal doesn’t.
  • Robiticus
    Stop arguing please
Guys, this 3/17/25 episode is rough. The shouting down arguing and “answer the question” demands are why I don’t watch or listen to legacy media. This is not fair and balanced reporting, this is arguing and not giving each other the floor to speak and offer points. Leave your feelings for you monologues please. I love you guys. And I respect both of your viewpoints.
  • Schrodt60
    Good show overall
Good show overall but irritating to listen to the occasional bickering between sagaar and krystal. Especially when krystal talks over sagaar jamming her view down his throat instead of just respecting difference of opinion. If this actually reaches them, deliver the news, share a BRIEF personal view and move on. I feel like a five year old watching his parents argue.
  • shanman21
    Less opinion please
I’ve listened to this show pretty consistently since it began and the devolution into talking head opinion has been sad to see, especially on Krystal’s part. I say this as someone who typically votes Dem. Please less “debate” which is essentially Krystal shouting down and interrupting Saagar to get her opinion across. I listen to this to be informed, not to have Krystal’s viewpoints shoved down my throat. Please scale the opinion portions back considerably, for both hosts, and emulate the way Ryan and Emily discuss the news, with an emphasis on telling the story and providing context instead of telling us whether you support an issue or not. Like other reviews say, this used to be a breath of fresh air in a landscape dominated by traditional news that spreads hate, division, and othering, but unfortunately the show is starting to morph into what it sought to destroy.
  • Been listening since the start
    Been listening since the start
The Krystal and Saager episodes are becoming hard to listen to. It’s mostly constant bickering. I would agree with one of the reviewers saying “Krystal’s opinions are the shows opinions anything else is insane and immoral” The show used to be about the stories they’d each share their opinions and move on. Lately it seems like 15 minutes of trying to tell the other person how terrible they are.
  • BillybobZab
    Poor Saager.
Saager communicates in a logical, calm, intelligent manner that I can appreciate. But I can barely listen to the show anymore because of Krystal’s whiney, over-emotional, illogical ranting and the way she constantly cuts off Saager. I hope he can break away and create his own show soon, or at least find a better co-host.
  • wazupkid
    Saagar go solo!
I’ve been a listener since their coverage of the election, and unfortunately Crystal has become insufferable as of late. Like a whiny valley girl whose opinions are headed in manic territory, only to get louder when losing arguments. Emily would be a much more entertaining co-host!!
  • eddiep25
    Cant anymore
Krystal has seriously lost her mind on this show ever since Trump won. She speaks as if everything she says is the truth. I seriously feel bad for saagar and kyle. She is far left to the core and its hurting this show.
  • Sara.Saintg
Sagaar is Part of the Problem
The more I listen to Sagaar defend this administration the more I understand how democracies fall. It’s so rich of him to say that human rights aren’t the concern of the US government because that’s a UN issue when he’s shown his utter contempt for the UN as an institution
  • Whatever isn’t taken yet
Intellectually dishonest white woman shouts down brown man
Krystal has stopped and debating and started screeching, it’s honestly just a comedy show as she’s just plain ridiculous
  • vwirthman
Krystal has become hard to listen to
Krystal’s unhinged ranting has become unlistenable. Saagar needs his own show. I’m out..
  • Nccoombs
    Krystal stop interrupting Saagar!!
Please , Krystal, let Saagar talk without interrupting him! His views do represent half of your audience. This show has gone off the rails with Krystal’s TDS, it feels like Saagar is not even trying to give a counterpoint any more. Krystal is ruining this once balanced and thoughtful show. Can’t listen anymore.
  • AinLA19
Alternate title: Sagaar manufactures consent for authoritarianism
Recently found this show and it has quickly become one of my favorites. But listening to Sagaar defend the violation of civil rights and due process, promote extrajudicial government actions and sanewash the escalation of authoritarianism is revolting. At what point will conservatives wake up to the fact that by the time something they “might” find “objectionable” happens it will be far too late to do anything about it. Sagaar Enjeti? Sagaar Slipperyslope.

    Getting Worse
I’ve listened to BP for years now but it’s getting really tough to listen to. I started following the show after Krystal and Saagar appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast and enjoyed the balanced reporting that the show offered. Thing have been going downhill for the last couple of years. Krystal has become unbearable. She no longer is willing to listen to any opinion that departs from her own and constantly interrupts and shouts over the person voicing that opinion (usually Saagar). She presents her own opinions as fact and, unfortunately, is rarely checked on it. I’ve stopped recommending the show to people who are looking for alternatives to legacy media. Counterpoints with Emily and Ryan is a far more enjoyable and informative listen at this stage.
  • Tcr2005
    No more
I tried to listen to this pod to get alternative viewpoints. But after listening to today’s episode I’m done. Saagar’ tone and detest for illegal immigrants was harsh, cold and quite frankly bordered among hateful. Krystal stood her ground but hate always is louder. As a product of immigration himself, Saagar should be ashamed.
  • Joe from Pasadena
    Saagar should go independent!
Krystal is nothing but a pure hack and also a rabid antisemite. The rest of the contributors could make a living riding saagars coat tails. Get this show off iheartradio if you want anyone to believe you’re actually independent again.
  • Silentgrenade24
    Krystal
If Saagar isn’t on don’t bother listening. Krystal has the mind and problem solving of a 5 year old
  • Junglewizard11
Krystal’s Hatred of Trump Has Ruined BP
I’ve been an avid listener of BP since they started after leaving their previous show. Always loved the balance and open mindedness of Krystal and Saagar together. Since Trump won the election though, Krystal’s hatred of Trump comes through so strong, it’s made the show very hard to listen to. It’s just the same as listening to any biased news show where you can tell their bias so clearly. Real bummer
  • Joint Analysis
    Saagar is cruel and stupid.
Can you please reconsider Saagar’s position. It’s extremely unpleasant to hear him argue, he has a nasally unpleasant voice, horrid disposition and is profoundly dim regarding political theory, ethics, and morals. I can’t listen to the show anymore, hope you all wake up. Plenty of decent, bright rightists in the US.
