This feel-good podcast is just perfect for a dose of positivity and empowerment.

A lot of what Marisa and Humble discussed resonated with me. Both shared some powerful truths with authenticity and vulnerability. And I totally related to the experience of “the scribe anointing” where the Holy Spirit has written or spoken through me and my conscious mind is really not aware of what I said. I agree wholeheartedly that self-acceptance (or lack thereof) has a significant impact on our ability to show up as best versions of ourselves and to share our authentic voice.

Love Dr. Marisa’s down to earth conversation style that goes right to the heart of the matter. Powerful show on a wide variety of interesting topics!

I wish this podcast had been around when I was starting college. I believe Dr. Marissa Lee Naismith is bringing our important topics that need to be addressed for all singers, but particularly those who have studied at universities or work at them. The most recent podcast with Matthew and Jaqueline Edwards was so enlightening to me. I had to study classically at university, even though passion wasn’t classical music. I remember feeling so confused and alone in my program. Even after I graduated, I realized how my music education program, while helpful in some ways, was also unhelpful in others. A lot of things, I’ve had to learn by seeking out the information through personal research. Thank you to this podcast for making a place for these conversations to happen!

I’ve been listening to this podcast for about 6 months and it’s become on of my favorites. Nice pacing with a friendly, professional, and respectful tone. I like that Marisa always asks the guests for their own personal backgrounds. It helps to see what inspires their passion.

This is an amazing podcast everyone in the singing community and beyond should be listening to. SO many amazing episodes, SO much amazing content, WAY better than even most of my schooling for singing!
