    Great info
This book and podcast provide great information. I’ve worked menial jobs all my life (I am 57). Part of the reason is my wife had a better paying job and loves her work. And to be able to raise our kids without daycare (couldn’t afford it anyway) I worked opposite shifts as my wife. Anyway, I feel like I was never able to enjoy work. I feel almost beat down to the point of feeling as though I have no genius. Sometime I will take the assessment and maybe be amazed.

Not just helpful but fun to listen to!
I love this podcast! It resonates so deeply with me as I have been in leadership roles both in the corporate world and within my church. Not only do these topics intrigue and help me, but it’s easy to listen to throughout my workday. I love their sense of humor and find myself wishing I could be a fly on their wall while they record these conversations!
  • When you're lost in here...
Wish more space were given to the others to talk
Love the material, and the podcast covers good ground in going deeper with what’s presented in the book, the assessment, and further research. My one quibble is that either they have too many people on each episode, or there’s not enough room for the other contributors to talk. Mostly it’s Pat, Cody, and Beau talking, often talking a lot. I’d like to see more intentionality in asking Tracy and Matt to talk more, especially since they’re Responders. Sometimes it feels like they’re interrupted, or just not given much space.

    Great tools for everyone
When I learned these six geniuses I was amazed at the. Information resonated with my spiritual gift learning. I teach this to my graduate students in my leadership course. They resonate with how this helps them better understand themselves and the people they work with. With this podcast there always material to add to the book content which helps me understand others and myself. Keep it going.

By far one of my favorite!
This show is in my top 5 podcasts to listen to regularly! I use and speak about the Working Geniuses every chance I get because it is such a valuable tool to gain insight into the infrastructure of our approach to work. Highly recommended! Also, side note: I think it’d be cool to hear an episode about how our working genius matters when it comes to utilizing AI!

    Using Letters verses Names
Thank you for your podcast. May I ask kindly that for those jumping in and out of listening to you, to review each podcast the names of each genius verses just the letters. I may understand what you say but I can never pass it along to my team believing that they are as aware of the geniuses as I am. Eventually I jumped off the podcast session as you all sounded like you were having a conversation among yourself verses inviting and reviewing/ teaching those your inviting into the concepts. Thank you so much!

    Brilliant
Working Genius has changed the way I have viewed my career and personal life past and present. I’m a DG and things make sense now. I left a company that needed a leader like myself and I couldn’t figure out why I failed if I’m DG. The comapny didn’t want a galvanizer and instead worried about popularity and high school games. I now know what questions to ask before joining a company because I understand myself better.

Wow. I’m clearly a W but I scored a ED/TI/WG when I took the quiz right after I quit my job d/t burnout and answered based on what I was doing and not what brings me joy. I ponder everything and am labeled as a “natural problem-solver” who analyzes carefully before making a decision by everyone . I’ve done some self-reflection lately but anyway…Great show!

    Please identify the genius types
Love the podcast but I always forget what the types are and when G E ? and W I D get thrown out there, I feel frustrated without the reminder. People happen upon your podcast who don’t know a thing about working genius

This is truly transformational for organizations
I am a business consultant and leadership coach that uses The Six Working Geniuses as an instrumental tool, and helping business owners, their executives and managers understand the make up of their personnel, and how each are uniquely equipped. One particular story I regularly share has to do with the owners of a business who were frustrated that they, the owners, were the only ones that ever came up with ideas! They complained to me that their executives and managers “never came up with ideas, as owners are the only ones that come up with new ideas on how to move the business forward. Upon hearing that, I recommended that the owners, their executives and their managers all take The Six Working Geniuses assessment. What it revealed was transformative!! The owners all had as their working genius of Wonder and Invention, while they’re executives and managers, all had Enablement, and Tenacity as their working geniuses. The owners and the executives & managers were on opposite ends of The Six Working Genius spectrum. When everybody saw and understood the results, it transformed how they viewed each other, their working relationship and morale. I highly recommend The Six Working Genius assessment for every organization of any size. While not absolutely necessary, I would also recommend you have someone familiar with the assessment, to administer it.

    Holistically Helpful
I’m learning so much from this podcast in particular and from the Working Genius model in general. The podcast’s round table dialogue is illuminating and I can’t help but take notes. When the conversation highlights my pairing, I feel “found out,” but in a good way—how did they know that my strengths and weaknesses manifest in that way? Genius. Loved the episode on the shadow side for each pairing. It has also been life-giving for me and my husband to talk about how our areas of genius and frustration play out not only in the workplace, but also in our personal relationships. Thank you for the important, groundbreaking work you are doing!

    Best Podcast Today
I am so thankful for the Working Genius podcast, team and product and how it has helped me understand how I can use my God given geniuses and where I need to depend on others. Thank you Pat and Tracy and team!

    Eye Opening
I was recommended the book by two different acquaintances in different settings and thought I'd try the podcast first. I started at the 2d episode and was astonished. I found myself identifying with many of the sentiments the team described, most notably being frustrated with myself over my lack of enthusiasm in doing administrative tasks and even avoiding asking others who clearly enjoyed such things. I took the assessment and will continue listening to the podcast. Thanks for doing this!

    Deep Dive
The tools and books that Patrick and his team have put together have been so helpful to me and my business. Humble, Hungry, Smart are 3 of our core values at my office. In addition, everyone takes the work my genius assessment when they are hired. We are still working through implementing the working genius model into our everyday work. This podcast has helped to give me ideas. One thing I would love to is a deep dive on each of the traits to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a DI or an ET etc Thanks Patrick and team!

WG helps at work and at HOME
My wife introduced me to WG and I absolutely love it. I have taken many assessments over the years, and I like that this one helps me not only identify who I am but also how I can work with others. And it has also helped at home. I am a “IE” and my wife is a “DG”. My invention is often in overdrive and my enablement is constantly looking for ways to help others! This can be awesome and challenging (overwhelming for others) if not kept in check! I have learned to hold back and not “over invent”. And my wife has learned not to decern every invention that I mention (before WG I thought she was just killing my JOY- now I understand she is just asking questions to understand). She will now wait until I mention the same thing 3+ times! Hahaha! This self-awareness has helped us in so many ways! We are using the WG language in everyday conversations at work and at home. I can’t wait to share this with the rest of the family! Thank you!!!

    Grateful
For the past few years, I have accepted a position to grow a team. As I started, I was able to quickly and joyfully identify problematic areas that was preventing the team from growing before I came on board (Wonder why?!?). Two years into my journey with them, I had grown the team, in partnership with the collaboration of a few key team members, from 4 individuals to 15 individuals through the growth of the business(Galvanize much?!?). I learned my strengths, was vulnerable, positioned myself and my team to always be learning, all before I knew the language of the working genius. My team operated with tactical, strategic, adhoc meetings and I was consistently looking for root cause issues that would degrade trust, conflict confrontation, commitment, accountability, and a result oriented focus. I am so thankful for the working genius, the time you spent in that room, white-boarding, and then presenting it over and over. I can only imagine when Laura walked into that whiteboard session that she knew the journey you all were heading down. I’m grateful for the time you all have spent together. I can only imagine the time and dedication it has taken for each of you in the different phases of this project. I know Pat had the most fun in the ideation stage, and I heard Cody galvanize on as many podcasts as he could before Tracy reigned him in, and I guess I’d never know if Matt just cut it out. In all seriousness, thank you. I’m grateful for the time and energy you have spent. I hope to continue progressing on my journey in organizational and team health. Blessings, James

    Mind Blowing!
I am a junkie when it comes to leadership, self awareness, and team building. The Working Genius is by far the easiest to understand and most profound tool to not only understand and appreciate your own talents and wiring, but also that of others. Additionally it can be applied to all aspects of life! Wow! I am so thankful for this tool and how it’s working not only professionally, but personally also. I now know my husband has the gift of discernment; so he doesn’t hate all my ideas and isn’t trying to crush all my dreams! Ha! Thank you for the Working Genius! I’m currently advocating for my entire team to take it.

This is changing my view of work
I found out about Pat’s book The Six Types of Working Genius when he was a guest on Jon Acuff’s All It Takes Is A Goal podcast. I loved the concept so I ordered the book right away and it all just clicked. I have the geniuses of Enablement and Invention. I presented this to my boss and she was eager to learn more as well to help our team. Thank you for this excellent resource.

Brought to work team - IT
Hi there, thank you so much for this podcast. Met you from the Buffini podcast. Been excited about other types of personality assessments but this one really hit home for me. I’m an I T with huge disruptive tendencies and brought this to my team lead a G D and she had our whole team take it. We had the whole team do the assessment and it was awesome! Love this podcast because it goes into specific aspects of personalities in a structured way that you can’t always easily find in the book in a single page flip. Thanks for all the value you are building for the community!

It’s only been a year??? (And a half)
About a year and a half ago while on a run, I was listening to Catching Foxes when they spent a whole episode discussing Working Genius. I typically don’t find new content on my own, so being offered this insight led me to the actual podcast for WG. Quickly, I memorized it, started sharing it (I’m an GE haha), and went bananas with it! What does that mean? As a campus minister at the time, I applied it with my interns, chaplains, and FOCUS team. Then, I used it to hire new interns the following semester. Shortly thereafter, I communicated who I was in my gifts and frustrations in applying to be a youth minister and moved from Texas to Maryland (bananas, yet?). In my new position, I’ve been able to galvinize the parish not only in youth ministry but in faith formation, in parish announcements, and in mentoring others. As if that’s it, my director of evangelization (a WI) has gone nuts with it and uses it to assign teams for the parish apostolates, in RCIA, and in discipleship. Last but not least, I now have a small startup called D. T. Rosa Management Consultants utilizing Working Genius and Faith to assist other teams and individuals in their organization health. It’s been amazing. Thank you for putting in the time and work for this. It’s helped not only my life but in almost every person I’ve been able to share it with.

    Alright this Podcast is Awesome
Working Genius has changed how I see my coworkers. I’m a youth pastor, and used to be frustrated that no one else on staff seemed to be geared towards implementation. Then I realized only the church secretary and I have “T” as a genius. It’s also helped in my marriage, since my “I” wife is constantly thinking up new ideas, and I used to frustrate her by going to implementation right away. The podcast does a great job in talking through issues like these, especially the episodes on the “paired” geniuses. Sidenote: Patrick Lencioni seems like the most fun boss in America. Love the podcast 👏👏

    A Thousand Times yes!
I stumbled upon The Working Genius podcast during a pretty challenging time in my career. I was working for an organization I love and had already been there for several years. I passed the information along to our CEO, who is already a Pat fan. I didn’t push it but stewed on it while really struggling with some recent additions to the team and poor processes they were implementing. A few months later, it was recognized that these new team members and processes weren’t working out and the CEO, at the same time, realized with the help of the Working Genius, that the key leadership team was lacking discernment. The organization was changed after this and we’ve successfully changed the mindset and implemented understanding of the Working Genius model across our organization of 700 people. It’s been wonderful and I love having this podcast to continue application of the model and hear new insight!

Oh I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas
Why I believe The Working Genius Model has had the fastest adoption of anything The Table Group has ever done. My father was a galvanizer extraordinaire who loved Christmas. He was truly Father Christmas, wondering all the time how to make family memories better. My mother was Mrs Enablement fulfilling his genius of wonder. Here’s what I love about the Working Genius podcast. You can apply your genius & frustration to every aspect of your life that matters, and The Table Group team keeps delivering on what matters most. Christmas matters. Family Gatherings matter. Want to make an impact on your sphere of influence? Introduce them to Working Genius with permission to show up to your family traditions with a better understanding of who you are, and who they are. You don’t have to be the host to galvanize your family around the idea of genuinely wanting to know & be known. Becky/GT

    Such great content!
I really appreciate this podcast and the working genius model. I listened to Don’t Should On Yourself today and see even more applications of the model. I wish everyone took the assessment and then wore their results on a button - it would have the potential to really change the way people interact with each other and themselves.

    Not fully cooked
I jumped on the bandwagon and was really excited about this tool. Listened to the first 10-15 podcast episodes and took the assessment. However, it doesn’t seem ready for prime time yet. Seems it’s still a work in progress.

    Where have you been?
Where have you been all my life, working genius podcast. These conversations are making so much sense of so many things that I have felt and experienced over the years, for good and bad. I recommend this to any individual who wants to understand themselves better, as well as any team whether it’s family, church, or corporate. Thank you table group!

    Love This Content
Thanks for putting this together. I truly appreciate the insight this has given me on how I am wired. I am going to roll this out to my team in 2022. I believe that using these concepts will help my company grow into the future. @cbsisd

    Fantastic!
At first, I thought this was just another personality test. Haha, this impression only lasted about 5 minutes. I have loved diving into the significance of “the working genius,” and I’m only on my second episode. You are doing an incredible job with this podcast, I can’t wait to hear more. Thank you. (Keep it up)

Thanks for bringing the Working Genius model to life!
Your reflections, observations and storytelling are fantastic! The authenticity is clear. So far, everyone I have introduced the model to loves it. There is always animated conversation as they try to figure out their own geniuses and competencies and working frustrations. Looking forward to the next set of episodes.

    Life changing
This has totally changed my life. As soon as I learned about the working genius model, I knew which were mine, and which were not. However, I now can design my life and my work more intentionally and stop feeling guilty about the things I honestly hate doing in my business ! I just purchased the assessment for my whole team, and for my wife. I’m excited to see how this changes our team dynamic!

    Rebranding Enablement
Been a listener of the Table Group Podcast for awhile. I took the WG assessment this past Sunday night and was not surprised by the results as they align with my spiritual gifts and natural giftedness. My Working Genius is D & E and loved this podcast because the enablement word is so misused and has such a negative stigma. Thank you for wrestling with the word and commenting about my Genius of E in such a positive way. Please continue your work and challenge to your audience to be better leaders. BEST interviewing tool ever
This assessment will become the new vetting tool for hiring people and helping applicants answer the question always asked at the end of an interview... “so do you have questions for us?” YES- What will I really be doing?... then determining if it fits your working genius.

    Simple and powerful
The working genius model has had the fastest adoption of any assessment or model my team has encountered. Its simplicity is its superpower. Its practical application in day to day settings unlocked my team to better understand themselves and each other

The best tool to get your team to work together
Our team used this tool a few months ago. Since that time, the level of collaboration has increased as it’s become ok to leverage another person’s strengths to get work done. We regularly get report outs in our weekly meeting on how someone else’s genius was used to get things done. This podcast is an excellent companion. Highly recommend.

    Everything finally makes sense!
I love the way the Working Genius lens has changed the way I interact with my family, friends, and colleges. Personality tests never quite explained certain quirks and interactions with others but this clears up so much more knowing that personality does not always define working strengths and weaknesses. I HIGHLY recommend anyone working on a team or engaged in any relationship to listen to this podcast and take the assessment.
