Jon TempleMarch FunHonestly I hate podcasts. With that being said I am driving two hours for work one way and I started listening to an episode because I enjoy everything turkey also have your book. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the relatable experiences in the woods and tips and tricks that I have forgotten about.

David TuttleNew to podcastsI’m very fresh into listening to podcasts. Never gave it a thought. Didn’t even know I had a podcast app on my phone… but when I came across SPRING LEGION on a TikTok video. I immediately started listening. New and old. Very knowledgeable guys love listening to the storytelling. And all the information they share!

Cayde HinsonLong Live the RealSome of the best hunting storytellers of our time. It’s a lost art, but I really feel like I’m sitting on the next tree over when y’all relive a tale from the turkey woods. Keep up the realism and honesty!
-
rshackelLove it!Found the podcast a few months back and have listened to every episode since and some previous. I enjoy the knowledge and the honesty.

BradBowdenGo to for all things turkeyHunter and Chase and even Sills the few times he makes an appearance are always so helpful with tips and tricks that I never would’ve thought about either in the turkey woods or just in preparation for it. They also always get back to me on Instagram when I have questions and they’re always willing to help a fellow turkey hunter. Real stewards of the game.

tMastin724Great knowledge and RelatableHave been listen to the guys for a while, and look forward to hearing each episode! I find myself remembering days in the woods and being in similar situations when the guys are telling stories. I feel like I could miss a whole hunt standing around the country store in the morning drinking coffee with these guys! So down to earth and relatable! I’m also learning something new each time I listen. If you’re new to the turkey woods, or been there before, everyone can learn something from the guys. Keep up the great content, amazing hunting gear, casual gear, and literature! -Travis M. - Conway, SC

WVUSAF2012WV huntingIf y’all want to hunt some WV turkey next year let me know. I heard chase talking about wanting to hunt the east coast.

Cramey17Learning curves never end in the turkey woodsFirst off amazing podcast/group of guys. Great content from beginner turkey hunters to experienced and all between. I consider myself in the in the between group. I have killed several turkeys in my day in Arkansas and I had thought I had a good system. Until them gap years hit and I’ve had to really work for them! The many tricks and tips, sometimes but not always, and woodsmanship skills you gentlemen preach on will make anyone listening a better turkey hunter. May not make them a better turkey killer but the passion and respect you fellas have trickle into the turkey hunters across the US making the group as a whole better! Proud to be a woodsman and proud to be a turkey hunter! Keep up the great!

youraveragehunterNew/Veteran Turkey huntersIf you are a new turkey hunter, or you have been tested and tried in these turkey woods, I definitely recommend listening to each and every episode. Awesome stories, great tips to learn from, and just an awesome couple of guys that continue to fire me up as PA spring turkey approaches!

-
Austinpayne01A good reminderAbsolutely love listening to this podcast to get a little mind refresher on getting closer to a long beard and having more success in the spring. Talks a lot about being natural and getting where he can feel comfortable
-

Mikemike49Awesome podcast for all turkey huntersLove this podcast for learning about the great sport of turkey hunting! I love how yall talk about all the facets of the sport and give newer guys like me confidence and tips to succeed. The woodsmanship you guys discuss really helps me be a better hunter. Keep up the good work fellas!
-
TCarey92GratefulAs a guy that’s had to teach himself the woods and haven’t really had someone to guide me and pass on knowledge through my younger years, these guys help tie together the things I’ve scouted/seen/picked up while I’ve been outdoors. I’ve been hunting turkeys for about 6 years, and last year I finally shot my first bird. I had been close to bagging one a handful of times but could never close the deal. I worked this bird for 2 days and got him on the third. Public land in Florida. Thanks for all yall do and for helpin guys like me find success.
-
Tanner1104A great podcast and even better peopleI love the show and their different takes on situations in the turkey woods, but it doesn’t compare to the quality of people behind the mic. At NWTF this past weekend, Chase went out of his way to make sure I got a free mask for wearing one of their shirts to the booth. Great Folks!
-
Dylan BondsTurkey talk’nLove the show fellas!! These guys get it!! I don’t care how much you know, you can always pick up on something new. Long live the elusive wild turkey!!!
-
Blake_Turner32Blake Turner-WvLove the podcast, helps hearing familiar stories to learn from and enjoy. I’d love to see you guys do a segment on calling sequences, as an intermediate turkey hunter just looking to improve on the little things.
-
Wcooper0824Great show!!!Each time I listen the guys throw a tip in that I have to pause the podcast and write it down so I don’t forget it. Great show.
-
Sam PrivetteTurkey killing phaseI want to say thank you for all yall do for the wild turkey. After listening to the podcast old and new episodes I have realized that I have been in the phase that yall talk about. Only caring about shooting and killing the bird and not the bird itself. But yall have made me look at turkey hunting in a completely different way and will be going into the woods this year with a way different perspective. Not going to use decoys, just a yelper and a shot gun.
-
Levi Carpenter12Best podcastLove this podcast. As a turkey hunter I love listening to other turkey hunters sharing stories and giving advice! I’ve listened to you all since i started hunting when I was 15. Now that I’m 17 I know from listening to guys I’ve learned a lot from this podcast.
-
Gucci_MainesLate season publicHey guys love the podcast. What are y’all’s thought on traveling, finding and hunting late season public birds after everyone has put the gun up and called it a season versus early season pressure
-
GarrettRose2Great podcastGreat podcast for learning about the Wild Turkey! From Houdini black magic to tree hopping long beards. Not a better way to get your mind right for this Spring listening to them.
-
mossyoak585Great ListenI randomly came across this podcast on a Facebook reel. Needless to say I'm hooked. As a life long turkey hunter I can't get enough talkin turkeys. The podcast provides insight on some of my experiences and actually brings up some things I may have overlooked regardless if I was successful in some of my particular hunts. Now that it just turned 2025 I'm full send already to the spring turkey seasons. Keep up the good content boys!

Cow----//:;())$@The new age Tom Kelly’sFound out about these guys at ricks cafe in Starkville. Loved the live show and ordered a book and read through it within 2 days (haven’t done that in many years). Their mindset is that of the legends that a lot of people have forgotten and Hunter’s books and the spring legion podcast will show you just what I’m talking about. Got a chance to talk to em a few times at the NWTF convention and they’re just some good guys who love turkey hunting and the companionship and woodsmanship that comes with it. Awesome show guys
-
Connorperry22To the kings of spring:Always love hearing yall talk all things turkey and hearing yalls experiences! Keep inspiring the younger generation to get out there and get after those thunder chickens!

Doc 121409My personal favorite podcast. As many modern outdoors men nowadays, I listen to a lot of podcasts. There is no shortage of them. But these fellas, stand with the best of the best, unapologetic for who they are nor wavering in their convictions. They are learning as we are learning with them and it is endearing in today’s world. I’ve messaged Hunter and Chase both a few times and been happy to hold conversations with both at different times. Genuine men, with genuine passion, and it’s enjoyable and enlightening to digest.
-
Shane Carroll.Keep up the good work.As a newer turkey hunter this podcast has been a blast to listen to and I’ve learned quite a bit. I really enjoy listening each week, keep up the good work.
-
LaneC20Keep the Fire BurningHunter and Chase, As a young turkey hunter, I appreciate listening to the stories you guys have to tell. Y’all make it seem like I was there on these hunts, and I feel like I’m learning from turkeys that I never knew existed. It’s nice to see a passion for the wild turkey being shown in December, when the wild turkey is the last thing on many people’s minds. Great stuff you guys are putting out and glad to hear there many more to come.
-
The_noah_regaNot subject to changeLove listening to the stories and anxiously wait for new episodes!! I feel like I’ve been hunting with yall for years.

MattFrondorfBest Turkey Hunting Podcast 🦃The Spring Legion Boys have passion for Turkey Hunting! Hearing that intro into the podcast maybe the best sound there is! But on a serious note when it comes to Turkey Hunting, Hunter, Chase, and Austin have a wealth of knowledge. They are the definition of woodsman and the knowledge from this podcast has made me a better Turkey Hunter. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors and gettin after a few thunder chickens will enjoy this podcast! On a side note check out Hunters two books as well. Any Given Spring Morning and Ballad of a Turkey Hunter, both are freaking GREAT!
