    Mike’s content has been a game changer for me. I moved from ops to development a few years ago and was fortunate to attend a key note from Mike, immediately book one of his book, then signed up for the online learning. Devoured all of it and along with the help of a couple mentors, went and crushed the next couple of years. Add to that he’s from St Louis! Go Cards-

    Simple Tried and True
    I stumbled upon Mike’s podcast recently while searching for “Sales Manager” content to listen to. There are a lot of sales-PERSON focused podcasts, but few that focus specially on managers. I am a new field manager (2 years in) and have found Mike’s simple but direct approach to managing people and your own time to be invaluable. His principals are nothing revolutionary but he presents them in a positive and easy to follow way that builds confidence in you to deploy them. He doesn’t overcomplicate things and that has helped me focus on less, but more important initiatives with my team. Mike’s style is not for everyone (it took me a while to get on board with him) but it is effective and the truth, and you can’t hide from the truth.

    There is too much intro information, plugs for friends and other businesses that are not relevant, etc to keep my interest. I'm an avid podcast listener but I prefer the Tim Ferriss types. I don't listen to a podcast to hear about the new car nor your travel schedule.

    I was recently referred to Milke's podcast by a peer of mine in sales. I've listened to several podcasts so far and enjoying the practical guidance for sales leadership. I appreciate the focus on the Daily fundamentals and discipline required to succeed in sales. In this day and age, when there is a lot of noise in the sales world, holding yourself accountable to follow the simple fundamentals is a great reminder.

    I am a long time fan of Mike’s work after reading his books and recently started listening to this podcast. Like his books, the topics covered are incredibly relevant to the most common challenges in sales and Mike dives into them in a way that is enjoyable to listen to and he and his guests leave you with practical, actionable take away’s. I find myself nodding along in agreement every time I listen and having “ah hah” moments frequently. I can’t recommend this podcast enough for both sales leaders and individual contributors.

    Mike’s content is contagiously addicting. I’ve now shared his work with a number of colleagues within the equipment industry. I’d recommend this to the newest of salesman to the most tenured salesman no matter whether your role is a hunter, farmer or trapper. Mike lays out the fundamentals and coaches you how to establish (or repair) a foundation awhile providing examples. He is respectfully blunt in ways that make you question your current behavior and habits! As Mike’s books and podcast are intended to do, he will leave you with questions that only you can answer in practice.
