I have listened to Sh. Hamza Yusuf for years and always benefit from his insights. This podcast is no different. Great production quality. Short and relevant reflections. You walk away with practical and deep tidbits to incorporate in your life from Our Creator and His Messenger ‎ﷺ. This is a great listen particularly for Muslims in the western world.

Sh. Hamza sharing his knowledge through his unique lived experience as a white re/convert American, and ended up as one of the most popular knowledgeable American Muslims. Nonetheless, if you’ve opened your mind to learning from across of senior-ranking Islamic scholars who are not Islamophobic Muslims and non-Muslims, you may likely know his easy to comprehend approach may not always be showing the richness of depth & breadth of the Islamic tradition corpus. Many 5 stars from fanboy/fangirl or his students as many benefited from his efforts, both the good and the mediocre stuff he shared. Yet, it totally depends on where you are at currently; if you’re looking PhD materials for ‘pushing the envelope’ of American Muslims progress, you just might waste time. But, i found it beneficial for seeking 2-4 year college level of Muslim materials, especially when it’s for “browsing” history part of Muslims.

I ask Allah to bless Sheikh Hamza and the team ar Zaytuna College and whoever else is involved with the production of this podcast. Very beautiful and deep show that is very calming and very deep to listen too. I make dua that Allah preserve Sheikh Hamza and the team producing such great meaningful content. Ameen

A very timely and timeless reflection which I’m sharing because it penetrates through the noise, explains the noise, says how to deal with the noise, and takes you out of the noise to a better place and understanding. This helps. Please keep up the good work, and may God bless you, Shaykh Hamza, for not getting bogged down with the particulars on the ground when the universals are hanging just overhead providing better nourishment.

I listened to Hamaz Yusuf cd on purification’s of the heart and came across this podcast on Instagram, listened, and got almost through the entire first episode before recognizing Hamaz voice and realized who it was and immediately hit subscribe! I’ve enjoyed the cd for many years and know I’m going to enjoy this podcast too. Alhumdolilah!

Sh. Hamza always renews my belief in earning knowledge and the humility it requires. Knowledge is the highest form of Tarbiyah. Because one doesn’t learn unless one is disciplined and practicing discipline is humbling. Finally, God loves submission. Jazaak Allah Khair, Sh. Hamza. He is a scholar rooted in devotion, and one whose words are highly beneficial to those who care to mine the depths of the Islamic tradition for its hidden (to the outside world) gems of insight. Wonderful to have a podcast by this man alone, as the mission of Zaytuna’s Renovatio podcast is so expansive as to include him only ever so often!

I was eager to listen to this new podcast from Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. Especially in a time when there is much uncertainty, and guidance is hard to find. Turning to Divine and Prophetic guidance is much needed to help navigate our current circumstances. While the source of wisdom and guidance comes from the Islamic tradition, it is clear that we can all benefit from these sacred sources, regardless of our own personal faith tradition.
