I’m a big fan of deep, significant media criticism, and this is a podcast that isn’t afraid to really dig into the symbolism of artificial intelligence in film and what it says about the human condition. Always a priority listen whenever a new episode drops, hoping for more soon!

Talking about robots as if they are people with feelings, having volume differentials like Margot with 4/10 speaking volume and Jordan with 13/10 laughing volume the next second. Unreal.

I came into this podcast liking the movie. I left deeply in love with it.

I need this sort of deep dive on all their favorite movies.

I already love the hosts and this movie, but it’s just so wonderful to hear people so incredibly passionate about a movie that could be seen as silly or trivial, because it’s ultimately about women in conflict. I’ve found that I have a new appreciation for this film just by hearing them dissect it.

A Simple Favor getting the recognition it deserves!!!

I was already a fan of all three hosts when this podcast was announced and I love them all even more now. I can’t wait for the rest of the episodes!

There is so much that is unrelentingly horrible right now, but you know what ISN’T horrible? Listening to three brilliant queer women discuss the bonkers hilarious feminist thriller A Simple Favor, which ABSOLUTELY deserves a central place in the canon of Great Films. I love this podcast; I recommend this podcast; this podcast—much like A Simple Favor itself—is plucked from my subconscious and presented to me as an unexpected joy and escape from the drudgery of existence.
