    Complaints
I see a lot of people complaining about the guest they have on and how their views are heretical. I love that this show is exposing people to different modes of thinking and that they are willing to engage with a range of guests. It feels organic and curious. Even if I don’t align with what 90% of the guests say, going on an ideological journey of different perspectives is awesome. Love what y’all are doing keep it up!

    Different from other cryptid shows
Just found this show and have been binging like crazy. You have to start from the beginning or you might get lost since they reference past shows a lot during topics. Thanks for the fresh perspective on the Bible and cryptids. Keep it up!

I’m an OG listener, can no longer stand this show…
I have a lot of fond memories of the early days with this podcast. But it seems like, as this has moved from a hobby to a career for Luke and Nate, more and more the hosts are willing to sideline scholarly research for that which is merely sensational. It seems like they’ll give a platform to anybody, regardless of the guests’ beliefs, so long as there’s a hook and a jab at “the Church”. The hosts constantly complain about “the Church”, and take every opportunity to belittle believers who do not share their opinions or believe there is merit in looking into the supernatural. There is no historical of theological basis for most of what they seem to believe and preach on this show. It’s clear they have little knowledge of church history, nor do they care to study it. They merely agree with every guest, even when the guests stories and views can’t line up. The hosts’ beliefs have no synchrony. Blurry Creatures has become a cult, and this is worrisome as the movement is gaining a lot of popularity. People trust this podcast more than church history and the fathers of the faith. Check out the podcast Haunted Cosmos for this template of Christian supernatural content done right, in a God-fearing way.

    Prefer Haunted Cosmos
I wouldn’t go as far as calling the hosts heretics, but they certainly give heretics a voice and platform

    Changed my life
I started listening to this about 4-5 months ago, on my way to and from work. I am only to episode 90 something, but it has changed my outlook and my relationship with Jesus. My need and desire to become closer to my savor has never been stronger. I have struggled with my faith and this show and got me digging in my heels, reading my Bible (for the first time), and seeking a relationship with the father! Thank you Luke and Nate so much! You have no idea! I wish I would have found this sooner!

The podcast I’ve been looking for!
Intelligent, interesting hosts discuss the possibilities of (the obvious) supernatural phenomena existing concurrently with science and spirituality with actual experts? Yes please! If you are Christian but are interested in Bigfoot and UFOs, this is the place for you.

    Love this Podcast!
I stumbled across this podcast when they were featured on The Exorcist Files and I haven’t been able to stop listening to them since. I started from the beginning and I’m now hooked. I wish I would’ve known about Blurry Creatures a long time ago! They are telling an important story that everyone needs to hear and be aware of! This show has opened my eyes up in ways I didn’t expect! Nate and Luke - THANK YOU! I’m praying for you! I’ll be forever grateful for all of your hard work and sacrifices you’ve made for this show to be possible! You’ve changed my life❤️ and now I get to pass this information on to my young kids before the world can lie to them!

Incredible. The hosts are entertaining, and the content is incredible. I love that it is all viewed through a Biblical world view. Got my brother hooked as well!!!

    Love you guys!
The episode with John was amazing, brought me to tears! I love this space where Christians can ask the hard questions and tell their experiences. Some of us have had supernatural experiences our whole lives but don’t know where to park that or who to talk to about it. I love looking into the unknown with the Biblical worldview and knowing that Christ is Lord over all of it. Keep going for the kingdom! Praying over you guys!

    Obsessed with the Blurriverse!
Best podcast out there right now. I am absolutely hooked and loving every episode I listen to. You guys are killing it! Keep it Blurry, Amen! 😎

    New listener here!
I’ve been listening for a few months now, came over from the Unashamed podcast. As I’ve been playing back on older podcast, I keep finding more and more I love. But by far my favorite podcast has been the one with John Eldredge, so much so I needed to take notes and listen multiple times over. Thank you!

    Love this pod!!
This podcast is super eye opening and awesome! I appreciate how it’s centered around biblical truth
  • Bizydips
    Just wow!
I never understood many parts of scripture and how it all tied into the story of Christ. Now that I have a better understanding of the battle between kingdoms and the seed war, I can more fully appreciate the importance of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. He did so much more for us than we can even imagine. Thank you for making Blurry Creatures a safe space to discuss lots of supernatural questions while pointing us back to the gospel.

    Super sick podcast
Finally a platform for conversation with hosts that speak on a lot of topics that modern churches don’t explain well. Thank you for helping me in growing my relationship with Christ!

I love the show. But I recently became a Silver member and I don’t know where to go to access the entire show and not just the trailer? Frustrating!!!

Global warming…it’s a really big deal
Some really interesting guests, but after a few months of listening I realized these guys are climate change deniers!
  • Cyoung00011
    Please stop interrupting
I have to agree with some of the recent reviews. I love the show but the interrupting guests, and each other (Luke I mean you) makes it really hard to listen to.
  • Blurry listener Brandi
    Love you guys but….
I have been listening to you guys since your very 1st episode!! I love the content and your guests are awesome!! With that said, I must be honest in saying…. Your guests are extraordinary, brilliant, and have such a wealth of knowledge and information we all tune in to hear. They are also extremely polite and with the exception of Timothy Alberino, they almost always loose their train of thought due to the constant interrupting done by you. PLEASE let them talk without interrupting them mid sentence. It pains me to think about all the information that has been left unsaid BC they were interrupted and pulled into another direction. PLEASE try and remember the interview is about them and what they have to share; not about you guys. I love y’all but you’re kinda making it hard to. I say this with the deepest respect and appreciation for all you are creating and sharing with us.

An oasis for believers drowning in theologically safe devotions and flannel-graph dogma.
“The problem with the modern day church is that they a very truncated view of the supernatural.” 🎯🎯🎯

    Great Information
Really enjoy listening to y’all and respect the varied guests that you have on the subjects you cover. So much that Christians have been hungry for and received no answers from the established Church. I started from the first episode and have enjoyed comparing with current events playing out over the following years. Wish I had found you sooner! Thank you.

Heard about y’all and had to check it out. I’m just getting started with your podcasts, but I’m interested to hear more! Y’all should do a collaboration with Haunted Cosmos some time.

    Love it!
Love this podcast! It’s things I think we all wonder about as Christians but feel like it was taboo until your reminded of what it’s written it the Old Testament!! Especially Genesis 6

Enlightening and Fun to Listen to
This show is awesome. It has turned my perspective on many things on its head and quite honestly strengthened my faith in God. The more I listen, the more it confirms the Bible. Don’t believe me, listen for yourself.
  • Malfnctn
    Fun, informative, but frustrating
I’ve been listening since near the beginning, and for the most part, have been entertained and educated. It has scratched that itch in my mind and heart on fringe science topics that have always intrigued me. That said, the format of the show has really suffered recently. Guests are just about to make a really profound and informed points, and suddenly the hosts make an off topic 80s reference as a joke, or a long comment and rambling question that off-directs, or a mid sentence cut to an ad, and then the previous big point is disjointed or lost. Momentum is lost quickly on this show that hadn’t been happening in earlier episodes. Just my critique. Keep pursuing truth, but consider letting guests talk or fade into ads like you used to.

    Life changing podcast
First, I must say that I love this podcast. It has changed my viewpoint of religion and spirituality. This show has opened up my eyes in how I view the Bible and the Old Testament specifically. I thank you guys for this. But….could I offer some constructive criticism? Please cut down the length of your questions and be let the guests speak longer without cutting them off. On some of the shows, you seem you ask a seven minute question and the guest almost has to cut you off to answer. Then before they can explain their answer, at least one of you with interject another question or statement and pull them to a totally different rabbit hole. This became clear to me on the “Invisible University” show. This doesn’t aggravate me enough to not listen but enough to bring it up here. Thanks guys.

Wow so interesting and eye opening. Great show brothers. Thank you for your hard work and as she said you don’t know how much you’ve helped me understand and answer my own experiences. From sleep paralysis to seeing stars moving the hat man to seeing orbes at night in the sky fighting; hundreds of thousands of them. Thank you 🙏 I recommend this podcast to anyone who has questions and want to understand their life experiences.

    Dig the content…
but if you’re not a paying member, you’re cheated of some great episodes. They won’t even acknowledge when a person hypes them up unless you shell out money once a month. They talk more about Heiser than they do God and they find it ok to exploit people on social media through memes. Once these memes are deemed offensive and insensitive, they don’t address it nor do they apologize. They’re starting to act like they know everything, they interrupt one another and their guests. The main guy is slowly getting pushed out by the other guy who clearly is starting to get more and more annoyed; listen to the red heifer update where one of them talks about being a redhead and the other guy makes a comment where you can tell he’s so annoyed and clearly gaining more control over the show and I’ve seen this happen over the last year or more. After following this podcast almost since the get go, it’s time I move on from Blurry Creatures and all the other wannabe Christian knockoffs.

    Great podcast
I enjoy almost everything about this podcast, except the volume level of ads. Why are they so much louder than the actual podcast? I get promoting products., just annoying adjusting the volume. Otherwise great podcast with interesting topics and conversations.

    Myopic
The recent guest who decided that St. Francis is Assissi was part of a vast satanic school of occultism was the last straw for me. Although Paul advises us to hold fast to the traditions (teachings) passed on orally, and John points out that Jesus taught more than books can hold, the evangelical show hosts and guests believe that if it ain’t a post-Reformation American Bible Belt form of Christianity, then it’s part of team Satan. So if you are shallow in church history, and don’t care what early Christians actually learned from the apostles you may live this show. If you’re part of the billion believers who know that teachings were transmitted in sermons from martyrs, in graffiti on the catacomb walls, in the Didache, in hymns and prayers— then you may want to pass on this show because you will hear over and over again how 19th century American theology is true and the teachings your church has defended with it’s blood for two millennia are really a satanic conspiracy. If these folks can look at the life of Francis of Assissi and see evil, I can’t trust them to discern what Bigfoot and UFOs are.

    Downhill
Show has gone downhill quite rapidly. Shorter episodes, rehashing the same material, constantly cutting off guests and obnoxious advertisement interruptions throughout.
  • Concerned ...
    Used to be pretty good
Continually talks over guests, maybe trying to be funny? The guests are the ones who are interesting.

    Changing my paradigms
I always learn something fascinating when I listen to one of these episodes. Makes me see the scriptures in new ways.

    Amazing!!
I have grown up in the church, and have never felt like I was able to ask questions. And I was left with so many questions with history and many of the things that were written. I finally feel like I’m getting some answers and plugging many of the holes. On top of that, I’m stretching my perception on reality. Great stuff

Good content, bad audio. Guests are at on volume and the hosts are at a different volume. It’s hard to listen to with EarPods.

Like Biblical podcasts this one brings on low expectations of lack luster theologians, wash and repeat guests. The show peaked in its first 22 months, now it’s on the spiral of late night televangelists selling Holy water. Semi secular podcasts (the confessionals) do a lot better.

    Still…Catching up on the Juice!
Update-Nov 2024: Wow! Laura Sanger just brought the juice from ancient Egypt and back. Oh my goodness. I’m still loving this podcast. Thank you! /oct 2024-A kid came to do some warranty work on my house and was listening to the Book of Enoch episode and I had to inquire about what he was listening to. I found the episode, got hooked, and am loving every episode so far. Still have a lot of Juice to catch up on and hear about but I’m getting there. Just started episode 13. Love these conversations. Thank you for exploring these topics.

    🤯
Keep on letting the spirit guide the direction of your podcast. It keeps getting better and better. And the Seleh moments are 🤌🏼 PS Dr Michael Lake is the most underrated guest in the show. Obedience is the key to protection from everything evil. Obey the commands………1 John 2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.

    Alberino
When Tim Alberino says super whack stuff, like truly insane stuff, it somehow makes sense the way he says it. I don’t really get it, but I’m here for it. Blurry Creatures is always a great listen.
