Rivver SongLove this show, but….I love this show, but they spend more time promoting their other shows and doing crossover episodes than they do their own episodes. I would love to hear more about the town, maybe interact with other religious organizations? TLDR: More episodes, less promos of other shows!

MillyszmLove it!Absolutely worth a listen. Voice actors are wonderful, sound design is immersive, topics discussed are important, and writing is wonderful. So glad to have discovered this show!

KarlisaJadeFunnyFunny take on confession and makes you wonder exactly what gets said in the box. Love the dynamics of the congregation and town.

jhugfjutdutgkhcytdOn rocky groundI’ve been interested to see how this plays out. It very cleverly skips the actual absolution, and Fr. Ben is good at sticking to his guns about actual remorse vs just wanting to feel better (perfect and imperfect contrition, basically). His comments during “About Tomorrow” are vague though; the Church does get a lot of flack, and sometimes rightly so. It is a divine institution with human participation, and we can mess up badly. However, her teachings on same sex attractions are doctrine. Her *treatment* of those individuals may change, and has and should, but acceptance of any kind of sin isn’t a step forward. Acceptance of sinners? That, we should all do. The point is, we all have battles and crosses to turn FROM sin and TO God, and God meets us there. Again, we’re humans, it’s hard. However, we can’t turn TO sin, AWAY from God, and decry God for not agreeing. It’s an ongoing journey, God does love you the whole way, but we don’t get our devils food cake and eat Angel food cake too. Hope that makes sense :) God bless guys, may your work bring you closer still to God :)

GiggabiiteFantastic show, but it feels like it takes forever b/c they do a ton of bonus epI really like this show, but I wish they would do less bonus episodes and more of the actual series (it’s like 3 to 1) real one, so it takes them forever to actually put out episodes. It’s not that I don’t like the bonus eps (they’re great as are the shows they promote), I just would prefer more of the actual story.

Kevin BuschGood, clean fun!The characters are compelling, the voice acting is marvelous, and the writing is sublime. Easy to listen to and fun to follow! Excited to see where they take the storyline next! 🙏🏼🙌🏼

Elle.24ChlDavid the sociopathic pig 😂😂🩷Overall a sweet and funny show and very entertaining. But some episodes like the pig episode had me laughing so hard I was crying.
-
ALCoolG74Sweet and entertainingI am as anti-religion as one could get, but I find this podcast to be warm and engaging. Love the characters and how they can take something simple, make it complex, and then make it simple again. But I really, really, and really need the arson plot to end.

ValeCharlotteSeason 1 is the bestI liked the format of the confessional and I wish season 3 had more of them. I get that creatively, it may not be as fulfilling to stick to a format and style. Regardless, I think the story is good throughout all seasons.

Newtonloves17The best fiction podcast dealing with faith I’ve listened toSo I’m going to admit that I am not a Catholic, but I love seeing how faith is explored throughout this podcast series. I started listening to this in my last year of college one Sunday and got instantly hooked. I love the character growth Father Ben has gone on through the two seasons and his relationship with Father Kelm. I also feel like all the characters are fleshed out. (I personally know someone very much like Clara). Also adore all the recent crossovers. They have introduced me to some other great podcasts so far. Keep up the great work!

joanna522Love This! It’s hard to find a well written story along with a talented cast. Casey Callahan has his character down! Fantastic! This show is fun to listen to and I love the reappearance of some of the characters. I feel like I’m getting to know them! Ha!

Jack attack123456Laughing all the way to massI have just listened to the first four episodes and I am hooked. This is so funny but it makes you think too. Good Audio great acting and ever so funny!
-
Non_SibiGreat “interview” style showIt kinda makes me think of “Everything is Alive”. It feels like getting to hear a very personal interview of fictional characters, that allow for the interviews to be very comedic. 10/10

A. R. OLIVIERIFeel good forgivenessIf you’d said one of my favorite fiction podcasts would be about a Priest & confession, this Catholic-household-kid would’ve been skeptical… but it’s an absolute revelation !!! (See what I did there ??) Forgive Me is superbly crafted in every way, but it’s the shows ability to make you feel GOOD about humanity & life that’ll keep you coming back every new episode… subscribe today !!!

DoggLover3Heavenly Delightful!I have only listened to the first episode but I thought it was hysterical. The storyline is funny yet poignant. Very refreshing to listen to a a podcast that is not from the Darkside or apocalyptic, particularly during a global pandemic. Living water for my funny bone. Thank you so much.

KikibeekiWho are the silly people giving 1 star ratings?Who are the silly people giving the 1-2 star ratings? Because either they made a mistake or they have no idea what quality content is. Forgive Me! Is a hilarious and cleverly written show that is delightful to listen to even if you’re not religious at all. It’s also well acted and well produced. The only downside is that there’s not more of it because I guarantee you will binge this in a day.

GoodPointeWhat Would You Like to Confess Today?Forgive Me! is centered around a simple premise, but within a few episodes it becomes clear that this show is absolutely unpredictable and can easily jump from humorous to heartbreaking and back again without missing a beat. Despite its setting, “Forgive Me!” explores some unexpected yet hilarious situations and themes. I was completely unprepared for some of these twists and punchlines… For comedy, Episode Four, “Youth Participation” and the story of the Christmas Mass incident was my favorite. I hope we hear more from Clara in the future. For the feels, listen to Episode Three, “About Tomorrow.” I can’t say much without doing the episode a disservice, but what I will say is that while I was listening to it I stopped everything else I was doing… and sat down… and just listened… It may not absolve me of my sins, but listening to this show makes me happy and brightens my day every time I let it. I adore the absurd world of Saint Patricks and I hope you will too.

FoshouWell done! The writing is great. It’s funny and heartfelt without a hint of cheesiness.
