There are a lot of film podcasts, but this one seems to be dedicated to the spirit of really digging deep into each and every film they choose. Kyle is a knowledgeable, but also gracious host who is just trying to discover what makes each movie tick (and his slate of guests are all complimentary to that very aim). A truly refreshing podcast that is well worth the time you give it.

Kyle absolutely loves movies, and loves sharing them with fellow movie fanatics. The title of the show is ironic, but that’s his dry sense of humor at play. You will learn a LOT about even your favorite movies due to his extensive research into their development and reception, and then the discussions that follow (which vary wildly by guests) can range from analysis to reaction to broader viewpoints like philosophy and worldviews. The conversations are organic, the movies are classic; it’s a perfect combo for people who love movies.

The Hardest Working Man in Podcasting Kyle Bruehl’s podcast scratches so many itches. For fans of cinema - he chooses so many great films to talk about. For the educated, expect sharp discussions between deeply knowledgeable people. For fellow podcasters, his dedication and work ethic are unparalleled and will make you want to work harder. He’s currently in the midst of his seventh season and continues to churn out three episodes a week with nary a break in sight. Each season of the show is conceptualized and features fifty episodes. FIFTY!!! So much lovingly curated content from Mr. Bruehl. Give this man and his show the reverence they deserve.

I was about to listen to this podcast, but then realized that the title is just fine and went forward listening to it. Kyle really knows a lot about movies and his guest are always good for a laugh. Highly suggest listening to the Clue episode.

Was debating on listening but I can’t get over the dumb clickbait title of this podcast.
