This is a great podcast for for all hunters. It’s great to hear perspective from a group of humble seasoned hunters. We all run into the same issues or uncertainty in the woods and it’s great to hear how these guys react to those situations. Keep it up boys.

These guys are the real deal when it comes to deer and deer hunting in the north western parts of maine . Right up there with big woods bucks I’m my opinion. Would love to take a track with anyone of these guys.

As a new Maine hunter at the age of 29, approaching hunting and getting into the woods can be overwhelming because you realize that there is a lot to learn. These guys are a wealth of good information and I have learned some good tips.

The guys and of course women, over at mountain deer is absolutely one of a kind! They know how to hunt and it’s even beyond just hunting. It’s there knowledge and the caring for others that they provide! Deer season starts today in Maine, go get em boys!

Mountain deer is a stand alone podcast. The in-depth detail of each story has lots of lessons to be learned from on a track. Rodney’s experience in number of year does not need to be told, you can hear it on every story. His ability to break down each lesson learned while in the heat of hunting story is phenomenal! Rodneys attention to the finer detail and emotion while following a track in a story paints a clear picture on the learning curve. The boys experience along the way also expresses the different styles that work and their own experiences. Thank you all for the time you put in to make this happen!

Glad you guys decided to start a podcast because the YouTube and social media content is amazing. Can’t wait to listen to the Elmer crew on a weekly basis. You guys have some of the best content for us northeast hunters and tracking specifically.

Love the family values as well as they way they discuss their hunts. I have been all over New England and Canada and often laugh at all of the others selling their way of hunting. These guys are they real deal and not afford to show you how they truly do it! Keep up the good work guys!!

My wife and daughter are a hunting family from NH. While scouting YouTube for New England hunting videos, we found the Elmers. We were hooked immediately because they shared the same values we do. We haven’t killed the caliber of deer they have, but we have the quality family time like they do. Then we found the podcast! It’s awesome. Love listening to it while I am at work. Allows me to be on the hunt with them during the dog days of summer. Keep it up Elmer family! God Bless
