Jason and Paul have become the preeminent Pearl Jam podcast with episodes weekly that give you something new to digest. They are balanced and fair and their chemistry is good noise. SOLAT podcast is #1 for Pearl Jam fans and it’s not even close!!

jsw24Enjoyable!!!Paul and Jason do a great job talking about Pearl Jam. It is refreshing to know that there are other hard core PJ fans out there. I like it when they do reviews and it is great to hear their different opinions. They make me want to revisit PJ music that I don’t listen to daily.

Karen in San DiegoQuality addition to my PJ communityJason and Paul are prepared, insightful, and well spoken without being scripted or plastic. tommycostasEven if Eddie says it isn’tDark matter is a concept album It tells the story of a married couple who’s grown apart and must tell their children that mom and dad are separating and getting a divorce. With this in mind listen to the album again while reading the lyrics. Anyone who has been through this will see beat for beat that these are exactly the emotions you go through every step of the way. Gut punch!
-
CurtisEBear2Awesome episode/podcast!I was psyched to hear my good friend (ok, I only met him once, after a show) Richard Stuverud on your show! He has an important place in Pearl Jam history, and is a great artist in his own right. Five stars!

DreLynKerObsessed....Mostly because Jason is my husband and Paul officiated our wedding. Each week I get to watch them research, prepare and then edit this show that they love so much. This is a labor of love and something that they produce out of their admiration for the music. Like, Subscribe and all the things that they say 🤠

SeaboarderSOLAT Podcast ReviewI have followed PJ since 1992, SOLAT podcast since 2021. I go to some PJ shows alone and fans are like family. I listen to SOLAT podcast alone and it feels like family. At live shows the band brings me to places I’ve never been and I find comfort there. SOLAT podcast does the same thing with Jason and Paul’s great insight on lyrics, band members and musical compositions. I look forward to live shows and putting on a record side to hear things I’ve never heard. I look forward to Tuesday release of new SOLAT podcast episodes. I’m a PJ nerd and SOLAT podcast makes me more of a PJ nerd.

gosc2001Love the PodTen came out when I was 13 and I’ve been hooked on this band ever since. I discovered this pod a little over a year ago and it took me back realizing the impact PJ has had and still has on so many people. Keep up the great work Jason and Paul. Just a little nibble for that algorithm.

Smile_8010/10Like so many fellow listeners, I’ve been in love with PJ since my pre-teen years. I became a fan with the release of Ten and my first show was in ‘96 at age 15. Now, at almost 43, I remain in awe of and inspired by their music and all the extraordinary people behind it. It’s been a gift to grow-up with PJ and I’ve preached their brilliance to anyone who would listen. Jason and Paul manage to further my appreciation for Pearl Jam and have re-ignited my desire to dig deep into the tracks and history of the band - as well as my own personal nostalgia. They discuss a wide range of topics with authenticity, respect and thoughtfulness - well done and thank you for all the hard work you put into it.
-
DB7821A majestic podcast about a truly majestic bandDiving into all things PJ, Jason and Paul really do a great job of breaking down everything from new mixes, too solos and as someone with a BIG tattoo their July 2022 episode “best lyrics as a tattoo” ! Lyndsey TutorLove this Podcast!I have only been listening to this podcast for a couple months but it has become something I look forward to each week! Pearl Jam is my favorite band and carries a lot of meaning for me. My dad has been a huge fan for my entire life and for many years before I was born, so I grew up listening to and loving the band. It’s not often that I meet people my age who truly appreciate the beauty that is Pearl Jam, so finding a community of fans has been absolutely incredible. I recently moved to college and being away from my dad can be really hard some days. This podcast has brought us even closer together and gives us new things to talk about each week, despite the distance. It is truly inspiring how knowledgeable and dedicated Jason and Paul are to the band and I look forward to each new episode! Anyone who considers themself a PJ fan will absolutely love this podcast!
-
ddeesswaThank you!!!I saw this podcast series referenced in “Deep” and haven’t stopped listening since! As a decades long Pearl Jam fan, this is AMAZING! It is thoughtful, fun, and rocks! I love hearing the love of this band discussed so we’ll, and learning more about the band, it’s songs, and how Pearl Jam’s music influences us fans! Thank you so much for this podcast! I absolutely love it!!

LeftThePorchA ‘Must Listen’ for any PJ fan !!!I was introduced to this podcast by my daughter, whom I introduced to PJ many years ago. The content is truly my weekly blanket of gems and rhinestones about the band I love. Jason and Paul offer unique ideas, thoughts, and insights that have expanded my knowledge and understanding of the band and the music. There are dozens of adjectives and superlatives that I could use to describe this amazing podcast, but, strangely a verb comes to mind—the verb to trust—because they never let me down. Thank you for helping bring the community and generations of Pearl Jam fans together.

Shaun PatsyMust Listen for Hard Core Pearl Jam FansJason and Paul perfectly express the fandom of the most hard-core Pearl Jam fans from across the globe. The debates and thoughtful insight on the popular hits and deepest cuts revive the passions of the faithful horde in ways that no other pod or show could. They are entertaining, funny and passionate. I hope this pod exists as long as Pearl Jam - for at least 30 more years!

DeeDeeSeaA Must Listen for The FaithfulThis show is a combination of one of those niche college courses on a band or a musician you wish you could get into but can’t, mixed with conversations you have hanging out at your place with the friends who come in from out of town the night before a show-getting each other psyched up, like the next night was going to be your first show all over again. (And simultaneously scaring the neighbors away, who you invited over to have a drink…because they have no idea why a group of people have so many thoughts on a band…) This Podcast is a beautiful representation of what this community is all about and why we really do have the best fan base out there. Paul and Jason do a remarkable job and it’s really a treat to listen each week. These gentlemen always have a spot at our table the night before a show if they’re ever in Philly. Let’s scare the neighbors away! 🤘😊

Darren0707Great Show HereGot into this podcast in the summer 22, but now going back to early shows. For years, I felt alone with my thoughts on PJ and tried to dissect songs, albums, etc with myself. Now, I get my fix with Jason and Paul sharing thoughts on my band. I also got to meet the guys at Claytons Framing last weekend and they are true PJ Fans for sure. Thanks guys! D. Murphy

TheBoss271Love this podcast and love these guys!I’ve been a Pearl Jam fan since I was 15 and Ten came out. I’ve only been a super fan since I saw them live for the first time this year. I know, I know. But since then I’ve been just consumed with the band and sought out additional content to feed my new addiction. I came across this podcast and instantly was hooked. Jason and Paul are so smart, insightful, intelligent and come up with the best and most interesting topics. What I love the most is their friendly and approachable demeanor. They have engrossing conversations and at times completely different view points and opinions, but have so much respect for each other and the music. A must listen for fans of Pearl Jam

Henchman8If you love PJ this is the podcast you need to be listening to!Paul and Jason, It was a real pleasure meeting you guys at the Forum. Thanks for giving my wife and I some air time on your podcast even though she poked fun of my Pearl Jam Funko Pop dolls. I really enjoy the creativity you bring to the show and listen every Tuesday on my commute to and from work. It’s always a pleasure sharing your love for this band. After the shows at the Forum I decided to hit the road that following Monday and drove 6 hours to the Phoenix show. My wife was not happy with my last minute decision to take off but so glad I went, especially since the show I was most anticipating in Vegas got cancelled. I do have a suggestion for a future podcast. I think my wife just doesn’t understand the obsession. I first heard these guys when I was a senior in high school. “Speaking as a child of the 90s” It’s a blessing to still hear them play 30+ years later. I think it would be cool having your wives join on an episode and discussing this topic and how to manage your relationship with your love of the band. Keep up the great work!
-
oowiejdjxjdLA Night 2I met you in merch line. I was talking about what I thought they would play. And then they played so many of the tunes. Amazing. Hope you loved it. GLORIFIED G!!!! Crazy
-
Harper922Very detailed PJ podcastThe guys really do a good job planning out episodes and going into great depth. I really enjoy that we dont agree on somethings…Seven O’Clock is the greatest word salad ever btw and No Code is an amazing album. Thats why I enjoy it. Gives me a perspective I dont always see since I love some “dad punk” although I refer to it as “Punk Jam”. Keep up the good work. Algorithm fed!
-
mattrenoartYou’ll love this show. Trust me.Paul and Jason know their Pearl Jam. Heck, their initials are P and J. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they had their names legally changed just to make that happen. Every week, they come up with a creative show topic, and their lyric interpretations make me think about these songs I love in new ways. This is a PJ fan must-listen.
-
HudsonNewsVPSOLTAwesome content. These guys are great. Very well informed about everything Pearl Jam.
