nobody asked her to do this
Very excited about the return of this pod because there really isn’t anyone else out there sharing the data and fighting for our friendships like Danielle. Nobody asked her to do this and there she has been swimming upstream to give us the info (for free!). I am forever grateful for her leadership

    The best!!!
This podcast has been a staple listen of mine since it came out. If you’re looking for guidance with all-things-female-friendship, this is your spot. Danielle has so much to teach! She broaches common and often tricky friendship issues with research, kindness and grace. She offers practical steps that you can actually take day-to-day to establish and deepen friendships in your life. So many tips from her podcast and from her books have been helpful for me in hanging onto meaningful relationships with the women in my life as we age, navigate society, and go through different phases of life. I ESPECIALLY love how Danielle keeps the podcast relevant and real. We are not ignoring or shying away from the important topics here, and as a long-time listener I’m so grateful for that.

    Now this is political too?
I loved this podcast but am disappointed by today’s intro after a 2 month break, with Danielle saying that now her podcast is going to be incorporating politics. We get enough political noise elsewhere. And I wish I could take 2 months off work for being upset about the current administration myself. We probably hold the same views politically so that’s not the issue. It’s just sometimes I don’t want to hear about politics and am disappointed that now this podcast is also becoming political. Nothing is sacred anymore and again it bothered me for her to take 2 months off because of being upset at the political world. I am too believe me. But we can’t all take off 2 months of work for it. Good for you I guess.

Just what I was looking for
Practical but realistic advice, to the point and not overly wordy. This is especially good for people who are looking to improve their friendships. Perfect for when I want something short to listen to during a short drive or getting a task done. I enjoy her perspective and advice. Not sure how this podcast has anything but 5 stars. I would recommend a episode with the Friendship IRL host.

    Healing
When I found this I originally was just constantly struggling with friendships and just unable to find the words for what I've experienced. The voice this podcast has given me has been crucial. I have friend trauma and it impacts trying to make friends to this day. I don't think I can thank you enough for this and I'll always spread the word about what you do!

    Danielle Deserves Her Flowers
Danielle’s podcast is absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good things about how useful, insightful, and applicable the information she teaches us is! Danielle does an amazing job providing fact based information as well as anecdotal information. As a woman who prioritized platonic relationships, this podcast has helped me learn how to be a better friend, and be more introspective myself. Danielle, you deserve your flowers! Your authenticity and genuine desire to help us comes across effortlessly. THANK YOU.

    Perfect Length & Realistic Advice/Tactics
I’ve been listening to Danielle for several months now. For one, I love the length of her podcasts. If something is over 15 mins I usually won’t even push play. But I enjoy listening to her with my coffee pretty much every time she has a new podcast. She consistently gets right down to the heart of a matter and brings her A-game (advice game!) I appreciate her style for the simple fact that it’s realistic. A lot of blogs and other videos I’ve watched use a language that the typical person isn’t going to interject into their conversations. These would sound forced and awkward. But Danielle always has a personal cadence to her advice that sounds like something you would actually be able to say to a friend without sounding like you just came from planet therapist. I’m honestly surprised she doesn’t have a national talk show at this point. But I definitely see it in her future. I’m happy to listen to her podcasts in the meantime, though!

Much needed discussion on an often ignored subject
Single in my 30s, and friendships are often the most important relationships in my life. Can be frustrating to feel like all emphasis is put on romantic or family relationships, and like friendships require no work or effort at all. Also, you never hear about the nuances and complications in adult (female) friendships, even though it impacts most people on a regular basis. Appreciate shining a light on this important subject!

    So much wisdom!
Thank you Danielle for creating this podcast and all that you do! Last year I realized that I wanted to develop better friendships and I’m so glad that I listened to Episode 14 about 5 things keeping you from deeper friendships! It definitely shed light on things I need to work on! Looking forward to more episodes and I appreciate all the knowledge you share! Thank you!

A great placed to be “called in”
I found Danielle on social a while back from a viral social post. Didn’t realize she had a podcast until this week and have been binge listening since then. I have not always been the best friend to my girls, and this podcast is great to give practical tips on how to be better and do better. Some of these things aren’t new, but the way Danielle says things is clear, direct, and concise, and practical. There are moments I’ve felt convicted but ultimately inspired to do better. Love it.

    Changed my life
I started listening to this podcast while I was struggling with a friend situation. Soon after, I decided to walk away from the friendship and this podcast truly allowed me to make that decision in a healthy and unbiased way. I 10/10 recommend this show to everyone. Whether you’re looking for friends, leaving a toxic friend or even just want to be a better friend in general, Danielle offers something for everyone.

    Certified?
Not a bad podcast if you can get over the fact that she seems to have slapped certified on her resume because it sounds cool. Insulting to those of us who have gone through extensive programs to actually become certified in something.

    Love this podcast
This is my go to podcast for my daily walks. Female friendships have been a constant support structure in my life since I grew up in Indiana to now living in Boston. To put it frankly, I couldn’t live without those ladies! Finding someone who gets that women uplifting women is so important, and seeking those female friendships is amazing. Being able to think differently about how to approach friends and to continue to further those relationships from listening to the app has been great. I’ve learned some new tips that are invaluable. Especially as I move to a new state in a few years it gives me some assurance that I can find and build some new female friendships.

    Truthful & Informative
Thank you so much 🙏🏾 I have received a new perspective and insight on friendships which has assisted me in the assessment of individuals I have attempted friendships with. For the sake of my own sanity, I have moved on from those unhealthy friendships and decided not to continue a friendship with them. Now, I have gained wisdom as I diligently pursue new friendships.

    Relatable AF
I’m so grateful I found this podcast. As a military spouse friendships are hard. You are destined to build relationships for a short time to then try to maintain them when you have to move. Having tools like these and just hearing perspectives helps to ease the anxiety of having to start over every year or two and also helps strengthen the meaningful friendships I have made.
