Nightdrive

Nightdrive is a late night radio call in show that airs at 1am around the swamps surrounding Fakahatchee, Florida. If you think Florida on it's own is ridiculous- wait until you hear who calls in from this small town in the dead of night and what they're mad about.In reality, Nightdrive is a lightly scripted, slightly serialized show with comedians and special guests calling in as residents of a small town. It's 'A Prairie Home Companion' by way of David Lynch with a sprinkling of alligators. Or as a fan described it: "if a town hall, the people of Florida and an FM Radio had a threesome- Nightdrive is the bed it would take place in."

Incredible Fun

Nightdrive is finally back and I couldn’t be happier. Some people long for the weird antics of a small desert town, but personally the sheer insanity of an overlooked city deep in the heart of Florida has me in its crushing alligator jaws. If you want to laugh and learn how when and why the illegality of ghosts will be decided, look no further.

Epic Laughgasm!

I don’t really ever write reviews for anything… but I couldn’t resist for this podcast. I haven’t laughed aloud like I consistently do at this show since I was a giggly teenager. Nightdrive is a perfect showcase of cleverly intelligent buffoonery that is so rare to find in this era. I have dearly missed this kind of comedy since everybody these days seem to get terribly offended by anything that approaches comedy. Folks need to get over themselves, loosen up, and try laughing now and then!

the jokes come at you fast

this show is so much fun, mainly for the commitment to lore and humor. if youre like me and looking for a place to jump in the recent Gator Greg Louganis funeral episode where so many hilarious characters come forward to share their thoughts is a great introduction. You can tell everyone is having a blast, while also committed to the end product and the result just awesome

Funny but also distasteful in a bad way

The show is funny, I enjoy it and I wish I could give it five stars but the gross jokes about pedophilia, children watching porn, and misogyny (calling a woman “damaged goods”) leave a bad taste in my mouth. I can’t recommend this show to people because of this. It would be one thing if the host pushed back when the “callers” said these things but he seems to go along with it and give tacit approval. These type of jokes are infrequent enough for me to overall like the show, but I still don’t really understand why they were included at all.

Great humor, production, world building and lore. Fakahatchee is the only town in Florida worth visiting.

Let your ears drip with delicious banter

Fantastic pod, with hilarious content. You find yourself wanting to move to this Florida town and shack up with Alleyway Steve. Great listen. Cannot recommend enough.

Spiritual Successor to TTA

I was sad to see the Team Tiger Awesome show go, but happy to see Truly doing something on his own. I don’t feel comfortable calling this a podcast, but it’s more of a satirical sketch series. This honestly reminds me of the kind of fictional radio show that would be in Grand Theft Auto, and that probably the best compliment I can give. Subscribe and stars!
