    Light & fun!
I have enjoyed listening to the ABM podcast for years. This is one of my many podcasts on rotation, so it doesn’t bother me that it’s inconsistent. I enjoy what I get! I am religious and politically conservative, and still enjoy although I know we have different views. I appreciate that they remain generally respectful and enjoy hearing their stories/views. I am inspired by their creativity and how fun they make life! I have taken a lot of their suggestions/inspiration and applied to my life. Love the light, fun convos & ideas! Also love the movie rewatch segments!

    Real and empowering!
I like listening to Elsie and Emma go through life, business, creative interests, etc. and share their real experiences of success, doubts, failures, wrong judgements, growth etc. We are around the same age and I feel like I am going through life with them as I listen to their reflections. They are a constant source of inspiration and empowerment

Have I been following for a decade?
I was so excited to find ABM has a podcast! I remember being a regular blog reader 15 years ago. So much fun!

    Creativity & Comfort
This podcast is the only one I make sure to listen to every episode, at least once. As a professional creative myself, I love the business and personal creative development topics and I admire Elsie and Emma as business owners and entrepreneurs. As a mom of 4 young adults, I love seeing Elsie and Emma create their young families to work the way they want to live. As a pastor’s wife, I love the insight into the church experience and am thankful for the vulnerability. And since I don’t have a sister, I love the sisterly dynamic, acceptance and love. Thank you, Elsie and Emma, for persevering and making this podcast. It’s a treat.

    A fun podcast for creatives
This podcast is my go to for a happy, light listen about all my favorite things...home design, holidays, business, and more. I really appreciate all of the useful recommendations and advice. As two women who share my love of creativity, design, and homes, you are so fun to listen to. Thanks for all you put into your podcast!

    Elsie and Emma fan club
I’ve been following them since the beginning and have loved every phase of the evolution, but nothing quite tops my love for this podcast! Always a fun and easy listen, always good on my nervous system, I feel like we are best friends. I’ve never commented before and I’m really sorry about that- I’m trying to quite Instagram and am using my energy to hype of my favorite creators. Y’all are the best- thank you for giving me the comfy cozies during the most stressful times!

    The Best Pod
I love hearing how Elsie and Emma evolve and change as individuals and business owners over the years. I often listen to the podcast when I need a break from anything stressful. It is a cosy comfort listen but they also don’t shy away from telling their truth. As a long time ABM fan, I wouldn’t want it to stay exactly the same. Keep growing alongside us!

    heart isn’t in it
Long time ABM fan. doesn’t seem like their heart is in it anymore. I believe they didn’t want to end the pod (it was said listeners should be grateful for whatever schedule they have time to do in the first episode of this season) but it isn’t the same. It would’ve been better to end with a bang than fade out. it’s missing the shine and thoughtfulness it had. I wish them well on the next phase of their careers, which seems to be less interaction with people, Seo/ai formatting of their old blogs, and writing books/painting. Getting the vibe this is being kept alive to present as an active audience population to use to pitch publicists or agents, which while practical feels bad after so many years following.

It used to be much fun!!
I used to look forward to these podcasts every Monday but the inconsistency is really annoying. I wish they would at least write in IG that there won’t be a new episode released. I’m not a fan of the movie rewatch. Love the talks about food, holidays, bucket list, decor and lifestyle. The kids segment at the end is super cute. I still think Elsie can be a bit annoying and comes off stuck up and out of touch. Definitely wish Emma would get more “air” time she’s super chill and very much more down to earth. Hope it’s gets better 🤞🏼

    Top favorite podcast!!
I LOVE listening to this podcast! Can I request a cozy comfort rewatch episode on Little women (2019) Greta Gerwig. It’s my current obsession & would love to hear both of your thoughts!

    So real.
I feel like I know you gals in real life! Thanks for all the honest talk and positive advice. It’s my go to listen when I need to relax. 😘😘
  • Comforting!
    Comforting and inspiring
Love to listen- inspired to clean out my closet now! Elsie and Emma make me wish I had a sister but I’m glad I get to hang out with them via the podcast at least! 💕

    Disappointing
I’ve been a long time follower of ABM, and honestly, I’m done. The blog has gone downhill (I’m over the drink recipes. Stop pandering to the SEO bullsh**) and now their podcast isn’t even consistent (it’s no longer weekly, there are no show notes, the constant pandering for five start recipe reviews, etc). Elsie has gotten SO obnoxious and she’s just dripping with privilege. I miss the old ABM days, but it looks like I’m alone in my opinion. Oh well, moving on.

    My Fav Comfort Pod
I love this podcast for a few reasons. Obviously I enjoy the subjects they talk about, but I think their voices just feel authentic to me. With the rise of “influencer”, social media and consumable content is starting to feel like QVC. Everyone is selling something. Sometimes I just want to listen to a podcast where the topic is a favorite movie lol. Also, I really love and appreciate the episodes discussing their history and views on organized religion. It was helpful to hear a perspective that I align with, and know that there are similar stories out there. Appreciate you ladies!

    Perfect cozy listen
I look forward to listening to A Beautiful Mess every week. This is the perfect cozy listen to spark creativity and provide inspiration creating a happy home. I love the comfort watch movie episodes and season bucket lists. I appreciate when Elsie and Emma go deep and talk about their upbringing, how they are raising their own children and future dreams.

    Love it!
I adore this podcast, have listened to them, and look forward to the new ones. I’m a horse trainer and this podcast often keeps me company while I spend hours riding. I missed Elise and Emma over the summer but I’m glad they got to take a break and enjoy the summer and their families! As a person without children I love hearing about their families and childen and Elsie and Emma have helped me sympathize and connect with my friends who have kids. They have lots of good tips! But my favorite topics are all things home decor, cooking, and holidays! The holiday episodes are the best! Thank you for all your good work ladies!!! Looking forward to this new season!

    Has it All
Sisterhood, home decor, movies, parenting, books, dreams, I love this show! Followed Elsie since way back in the day and this show makes me feel like I could be an extra sister! My comfy cozy re-listen!

    Joyful Listen
I have followed A Beautiful Mess for years and I look forward to this podcast each week! Listening is an instant mood boost. Any episode will leave you feeling inspired, joyful, and with a filled up cup! I always relate to Emma’s way of thinking—as a fellow enneagram 9 😊, and I love hearing Elsie’s through process too as it’s often different than the way I think!

    Love Elsie & Emma
I’ve been a long time follower of Elsie & Emma and I just admire them both so much! I love the casual conversations and the range of topics covered. In the world of influencers they are the most down to earth, authentic ones I’ve encountered!

    Affirming, encouraging, & inspiring
Listening to Emma + Elsie feels like hanging out with a couple of good friends. Their chit-chat is laid back and fun, covering playful topics like movies, home and holiday decor, and books and also more serious topics like finances, aging, and healing from past hurts. I appreciate that they make intentional efforts to avoid shaming and judgmental language. It’s clear that they are sensitive and aware that everyone is on a different journey. The conversations feel open-minded and inclusive. Both sisters are very relatable and bring good balance and perspective to topics. Listening always leaves me feeling affirmed, encouraged, and inspired!

I’ve Listened to Every Episode and am a Cozier Person Now
I’ve listened to this podcast for 5 years, and the only thing I’m sorry about is how long it took me to write a review! Every episode really does feel like a cozy chat with friends— I appreciate the kindness, creativity and encouragement Emma & Elsie bring to the world. They share parts of their lives that pique my interest (Renovating houses! Finally getting around to watching classic movies! Creating family magic!), challenge my beliefs (who’s to say I can’t achieve a big goal like writing a novel?), and normalize the everyday rhythms of being a person who wants/tries/fumbles to cook/create/grow/befriend/stretch/learn. Thank you both! PS I can’t really describe how hugely this has impacted my life, but because of this podcast I started reading fiction again as an adult and I feel like it’s rewired my brain in the best way ever!!!

Fave Podcast! Just a few tiiiiny things
As the title suggests, this really is my favorite podcast—I'm a creative professionally and in passion, and now a first time homeowner. This podcast truly is my cozy comfort listen and inspires me every time and I truly look forward to every week! I have yet to find another podcast that covers this many genres and is actually ~cool~ and aligned with my visual aesthetic, while still being approachable. My ONLY real note: please let Emma speak more and finish her stories/ thoughts! As a fellow big sister I totally get the interrupting and do so to my own siblings, but it's kind of painful!

    Inspiring 💗
Long time follower of E + E and love seeing their journey. Hearing them discuss their flop era was HEALING. I’m inspired to take myself less seriously and have more fun. Love listening. 🩷🩷🩷

    Love the biz related episodes!
Please do more episodes about your business. I love love hearing about your strategy, goals and ups/downs. It’s so interesting and helpful. It really made me think about some changes I’ve been needing to make in my own small business. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Highly recommend
This podcast is the epitome of a successfully ran entrepreneurial business. The hosts are so aware and smart in how they explain, relate, and overachieve in everything they do. I recommend listening from the beginning. This is a great break from news, gossip media, and true crime. Hosts: Thank you for your dedication in creating all that you do!! You don’t know how much your podcast has helped me find myself again.

    Favorite weekly podcast!
I’ve been listening to this show every since the first episode when it came out. I get so excited every Monday to listen to this pod. It’s so cozy and makes me feel good after every listen. I also learn a lot about a variety of my favorite topics like home decor, renovations, crafts, cooking, movies and books. Highly recommend!

I enjoy this pod very much
I started listening in January this year, at the beginning thought that Emma was very serious but since Elsie moved back in the same city the energy is so much fun. I enjoy getting to “know” you

    Feel good cozy comfort listen!
I stumbled on your podcast a few years ago and I love you both! You’re so fun, genuine, entertaining, and helpful! I’ve learned so much, and can relate to so much of how you live your lives. Your podcast is meaningful and matters to so many. I’ve highly recommended you to everyone. I also love the holidays, decorating, baking, cooking, entertaining, crafting, and being there for my fiends and family. Thank you for sharing a piece of your lives with us! You’re the best!

    Love
Emma and Elsie’s podcasts was one of the first I listened to. Love it! I’ve tried “saving” new episodes for upcoming trips, etc, but I can’t do it! This is where I also learned about another favorite podcast with Ramith. 😊
  • MaryJoRho
    One of my favorite podcasts
Listening to Elsie and Emma is like being in a room with two friends catching up. They use the phrase “cozy comfort” a lot and this is how I think of this podcast. It’s my cozy, comfort listen 😊

    Fun to listen to!
Very entertaining and full of great home ideas!
  • Jordyn Bridge
    Refreshingly fun and real!
Elsie and Emma are the coolest! Their passion for hobbies and creativity is infectious. One thing I really love about these two is that they are open minded and they enjoy learning from others.. and from books, of course! There may be certain things they are into that I would never do like tarot reading and other spooky stuff lol …but I don’t even care because they are so fun, kind and welcoming, my interests don’t have to perfectly align with theirs in order for me to enjoy their talks SO MUCH! Their love for interiors, crafts and parenting is so evident and inspires me weekly. Keep doing what you’re doing, ladies! You’re bringing much joy into the world!

    New Tagline, But Less Cozy
I’m sad to say I’m having to update my review to knock it down a couple of stars. I used to eagerly wait for this to come out every Monday, now I rarely listen anymore. I don’t have kids so while it’s totally understandable that two moms would want to share about their kids on their podcast, I relate to it less as it has become increasingly about parenting stuff over home decor and cooking. The hosts are leaning really hard into this “cozy comfort listen” thing in recent months and it was a far cozier listen before they tried to force this rebrand with annoying tagline. I’m glad for them for their success but Elsie’s privilege and house hopping and how she talks about it isn’t even fun to listen to in an aspirational way anymore. I still love Emma and when she has a chance to shine and share her perspective, that is when the podcast is at its best.

Look forward to every new episode!
I have been a fan of A Beautiful Mess since the early days, and I love that Elsie and Emma have a podcast! I look forward to the new episode every week, and listening is a bright spot in any day. It’s like listening to a conversation with my besties. :-) Emma and Elsie chat about things I’m interested in, including creativity, home updates, traveling, kid stuff, books, movies, business, goal setting, finances, and more. Thank you to you both for sharing your amazing creativity and kind souls with us all!
  • Lizard00000000
    Enjoyable!
The podcast is a fun addition to all the things you two do! I look forward to it on Mondays. I’m in the camp that’s disappointed when it’s a movie rewatch, but I’ve been following you for long enough to know that you try new things all the time and I appreciate that about you! Podcasting is such a mystery to me. I would love to hear a breakdown of how you get paid and your thoughts on the industry.

Cotton candy in the best way
I love listening to this show, especially to uplift my Mondays. As someone who is often stuck in parenting, work, stress mode, this podcast provides a dose of comfort, kindness, beauty, and escape in the best possible way. It reminds me of summer reading on the beach, cotton candy, long baths… it brings a smile to my face! Highly recommend if you need a fun listen!
  • awechrgifgggg
It’s like Nancy Meyers had a podcast!
Love all the effort Elsie and Emma put into the podcast. Hopefully the title of this review makes Elsie and Emma happy haha Always super fun to listen to, but I have to say Nova’s joke or fact at the end might just make the whole episode she is so adorable! Every episode is such a treat whether it’s about a movie, trends, house stuff, etc
