    Favorite Trivia Podcast
My husband and I love listening to episodes while on roadtrips and have incorporated it into our weekly Sunday drive! I had been searching for a trivia podcast and Trivia Time def delivered. While some of the reviews are upset about political views and “people bashing”, I love that I get trivia and commentary from people that make me feel seen and right at home. Keep rockin’ it, ladies!

    Great Show!

    Great Format
The format of the show is probably the best format of a trivia podcast. The categories and questions are really well thought out. Definitely give this one a try if you are looking to do some trivia when out for a drive.

    Fun, but not inclusive
I have enjoyed the content over the past six months of being an active listener, but I’m weary of the insulting commentary for all things conservative or related to white males. My 15 year old son loves trivia and we listen each week as we commute to his school. I tend to answer the sports questions and he gets the music and musical theatre answers. I’ll keep listening until there is a show with similar content that doesn’t feel the need to constantly add the negative commentary. I really wanted one of those hand drawn tater tots, but you can keep it. I have been a friend of the show but the show has not been a friend to me. Update: So you read my review and chose to insult me further on the show. Super disappointed in you. Treat people kindly.

This is my go to podcast while on the road! I especially love the music round and connection round at the end.

    Political and People Bashing Podcast
I like the idea of this podcast, and I followed it when I first started listening to it. Then the people bashing began. In the one episode I made it halfway through, they called Mel Gibson trash. They called J. K. Rowling garbage. And of course they called AOC a queen. Could be good, but I guess they can’t help themselves. So I unfollowed and stop listening.

    Sigh
Usually solid trivia, but the political/social opinions get old. And if you’re not of a certain political ilk, you are likely “not a friend of the show.” Bummer.

    Ear worms for days
I love this podcast and have learned so many random things from it. Only issue I ever have is getting songs that they play or talk about stuck in my head for days (singing “Material Girl” at the moment from the 3/25 episode). Hoping for lots more knowledge and great ear worms to come!

    A Must-Listen for Long Drives!
This podcast is an absolute road trip essential. I’ll while away long hours in the car listening exclusively to this show. The perfect mix of fun, challenge, and fascinating trivia entertains for the entire journey. Highly recommended!

The best trivia podcast hands down
A road trip go-to, this is by far the most thoughtful, well-run trivia show on these here podcast frequencies.

    Road trip go to
I drive a lot and love turning this on for long road trips. Most recently, we went to Yosemite which was a 13 hour road trip and listened at least 10 episodes kept everyone involved and awake. Super fun with friends.

    Road trip!
My wife and I were doing a road trip and wanted to do some fun trivia, twenty hours later we had listened to about 35 episodes!

    Can’t listen anymore
My wife and I used to listen to every episode, but the hosts insist on still having Harry Potter questions every other week. In a huge world of facts, there’s no reason to continually bring up the work of a virulent bigot. The world is awful enough right now, I hope y’all decide to stop regularly reminding some of your listeners that they are hated.

    Great for Commuting
This show is such a fun way to start the morning or round of your daily commute. Like NPRs 'Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me' and regular bar style trivia on demand! Diverse topics too that are engaging and challenging, but not impossible.

    Our favorite post trivia trivia
We love this show! My fiancée and I listen every Wednesday night on the way home from trivia. Rickey and Kelly are delightful hosts and each episode is a good mix of fun and challenging.

A Joyful Breath of Fresh Air
I just want to say thank you for this incredible podcast. I’m a huge trivia nerd and started listening about 5 months ago. This January I lost my mother and my partner and I drove from Florida to Kentucky, in the middle of a blizzard, to be with my family. We listened to Trivia Time the entire way there and back. Your podcast has been a beautiful reminder that there are still good people in the world and that joy is present even in the dark times. It’s been a respite from grief for me. My mom would have loved Trivia Time.

    Simply the best!
I stumbled upon this podcast while looking for fun things to listen to with the family. When we listened to our first two we all joked that you both reminded us of the radio hosts from SNL (Cheri O’Teri & Ana Gasteyer), in the best way! We really enjoy the dynamic between you two, and we also love that we can listen as a family, and learn something new. Thank you for making such a fun and enjoyable trivia show!

    Perfect media
My friend and I are on a road trip across America and we’ve been listening to this show… non-stop. The quiz itself is formatted in an incredibly engaging way and hosts Kelly Sharon and Ricky Lime are a delight to listen to. It never gets old!

Engaging and Fun Trivia, but Could Use a Bit More Thoughtfulness
We really enjoy this podcast! It’s fun to play along, and the variety of topics keeps things interesting. The hosts clearly put a lot of effort into crafting challenging and clever questions, and their enthusiasm is contagious. That said, there’s one thing that dampens our experience: occasionally, they include questions about individuals who have a reputation for negativity or divisiveness.. aka “not a friend of the show.” While we understand the goal might be to cover a wide range of trivia, we feel that featuring such figures as answers only amplifies their influence. The hosts are so intelligent and creative—we’re confident they could come up with plenty of other questions that don’t involve such individuals. Overall, we still enjoy the podcast and would recommend it, but we hope they’ll consider this feedback to make their trivia even more enjoyable for everyone.

    Can’t take it
I enjoyed the trivia but got tired of the liberal commentary. Hosts could show more respect.

    Fabulousness
I’ve been listening to your show far too for you to forgive me for not throwing you a sky-full of stars by now…but I hope you will! Everbest, Cookie✌️

    Less Chatter
I enjoy the content of the trivia questions, but could do without the heavy emphasis of personal opinions and silly jokes/stories from the hosts.
  • Angelomarano
    I love the hosts.
And honestly, I’ll take more political talk too.

    Great
Hey Taters! If you’re looking for a great, funny podcast with hilarious hosts, this trivia is for you! I truly enjoy listening on long car rides!

    Entertaining and educational
Stumbled upon Trivia Time about 6 months ago and it has become a go-to podcast for me and my husband. The hosts do give off SNL NPR sketch vibes, but that’s part of the charm. Love the variety of categories, level of difficulty, and corny jokes 😆

    Found my new fav!
I stumbled upon this podcast while going on an 8-hour drive and I couldn’t get enough, I loved the audio rounds and I think the questions are well thought out and not too difficult but not too easy, I love it! The banter is also pretty funny and I really enjoy hearing the hosts personalities. I will be tuning in every week!

Fantastic trivia + annoying sociopolitical hectoring
We discovered this podcast during a roadtrip and have become absolute junkies since then, going deeeeeep into the historical archive. This is a really well-constructed, cleverly researched trivia game that has a several different kinds of rounds. I personally love the music round. My wife is pretty good at the connection round and anagrams. My 10 year old likes to play along, too. The downside is the near-constant sociopolitical progressive hectoring that the hosts intersperse throughout. I’m a Dem, and I still just can’t stand it. I really believe these kinds of attitudes — or more accurately, the the apparent need to grandstand and moralize about them in non-political moments — are why we lost the median voter and the election to Trump. Do you go to trivia to be lectured on how to raise your male children so that they aren’t opposed to movies named after a strong female lead? Me neither.

    Road trip to living room
My husband and I found this pod on a road trip! We are not trivia experts but it’s fun to learn stuff and it is spot on pub style. We even started a monthly trivia night at our home after finding you all!
  • BekBek76
    Best trivia podcast out there…
We have tried multiple upon multiple trivia podcasts and this one is our favorite. I love that there is a music round every time, and the connection rounds are fun/challenging! Hubby and I listen while we game in the evening. Once your kids are grown, you can game and listen to trivia all evening, too 😉. Thank you for the great content!
  • jonny197
    Trying hard
The hosts are good and have decent chemistry but the number of times they ask wrong questions is frustrating. Example in the last episode is around Sandra bullocks Oscar win which was for the blind side, not the answer they give. This is probably the 10th time I’ve caught an error like this which is just lazy and means they don’t fact check. I know it’s a game and all that but as someone with autism it creates a frustrating experience because I get stuck on them being wrong and not caring about it. That aside it’s a fun time waster.

I am not a big fan of podcasts, but I do love trivia! It’s my new go-to for my commutes.

    My favorite trivia show
So easy to listen to. I love the banter. Love the quiz rounds. So good. I want more!!!! I wish I could re-join Patreon to get the fun creative snail mail and suggest another topic. I loved hearing the Teenage Angst round inspired by my teen. I felt famous. I want more trivia time!!!

    Great for road trips!
This pod is wonderful for road trips. While I side with the views of the hosts, it’s not the time nor the place to make snide comments about other figures. Some things are okay to be left unsaid, and it would be beneficial to allow people to just be listeners of information and knowledge.

    Trivia wanabes
I am a patron of this podcast. It has kept me company on 4 cross country treks. I play it when I am driving with my wife Rhonda, and my son David. We have recently been going to trivia nights in York Maine with my sister and husband and trivia time and thrice trivia are are practice rounds. I have gone back to the first episodes available on line, and find their friendly banter helps the knowledge stick. I can listen to multiple past episodes, when other podcasts would put me to sleep. Not to mention they have the best nonpc anagrams available

Great mix of trivia and humor
We love the Trivia time Podcast. We have used it multiple road trips and it challenges us in just the right way. The connections round is my favorite, sometimes the connection is so deep, it’s a great reveal. The hosts are fun and engaging. I listened today at the dentist and it totally took my mind off of a root canal! Thank you for the great podcast.

    I love Trivia Time
I love playing trivia time so much on road trips that today, when I was crying, my sister put it on and now I’m not crying anymore. It’s a great way to wake up if the car ride gets boring & I love being called a tater.
  • Alicia V100
    Amazing show! So fun!
My partner and I play every Tuesday while we make dinner. Thanks for being such a fun part of our lives! We’ve tried lots of trivia shows and this one is THE BEST. I only wish you released episodes multiple times per week. Can’t get enough!

    Great Trivia Show
My husband and I like listening to this show on road trips. Banter is great and so is the Trivia. I was shocked to see that the reviews for this show weren’t higher. People who said this show is political are definitely wrong. They sometimes mention their thoughts on things and a lot of times it’s about the gay community which I am pretty sure is not political. So let’s keep our mean comments to ourselves okay. You could always just not listen to it? That’s always an option and not leave hateful comments. My only issue is that they don’t like Weird Al which is sad but I’ll try and get over it. Keep up the good work!

    Jerry Never Dated Bette Midler!
He dated her understudy in “Rochelle Rochelle: The Musical.” George accidentally injuries Bette in a co-ed softball game and her understudy takes her position on opening night. “He had nothing to do with it!”

    From Matt and Victoria
We love listening to this pod when we’re on road trips. Now we say “triple tater” when something surprising happens. Fun and we learn new things!

    Love you guys!
Hey, buds. Been listening for about a year now. Finally listened to all the episodes. Woo! Just listened to the episode with the Tennessee round. Knew I had to reach out when I heard you mention Cumberland Furnace. I happen to work at a private mental health facility in Cumberland Furnace. Tell your friends there that a fellow tater is in the area! Thanks for keeping my drives to and from work fun and informative! Love to you all! - Alison
