DaisyS3033Global feminism, love it!Very powerful women as guests, I’ve learned so much about gender equality & feminism from this show. And a lot about women’s experiences in different countries too.

D0ttyladyGreat insights from global connversationsI just listened to the interview with Theresa May and really enjoyed learning more about this leader who fought unfair gender stereotypes throughout her time as the British prime minister. Every interview offers new insights and ideas, I would strongly recommend it. Julia Gillard does a fantastic job of keeping conversations grounded and making great connections with her interviewees.

Rosewood RobynConnected!I live remotely, off the grid in a small log cabin on an island off the coast of Maine. I am deeply connected to my roots in the Lockyer Valley of Queensland. Julia's podcast keeps me company and in touch with the world of women's issues. My small kitchen becomes expansive whenever I tune into one of her podcasts. I immediately feel connected to so many people all around the world who are making change happen for the benefit of women and families.

Lisa KaneTop notchStrong guests, good questions—a lively and spirited show. Julia Gillard’s grit is invigorating, her intelligence and wit a balm. Yes, a toxic, male-dominated system endures. But Gillard’s tenacity increases my hope that leadership opportunities based on competence, merit and integrity may lie ahead for my grand daughters. This podcast says just such a hope is worthy of courage and conviction. Thank you!

painterhillHeartening Powerful InspiringI’m a 61 year old American who had never heard of Julia Gillard. After listening to her interview on the Guilty Feminist podcast, I looked up her extraordinary (and thrilling) misogyny speech, which then led me to subscribe to this podcast. She is an excellent interviewer, and I have been so inspired by her and the women she brings on her show. Thank you a thousand times.

ABC Radiio USA FanExtraordinary conversationsOne of the best around. Julia is an intelligent listener. Well informed and well prepared Julia converses with spontaneity. Julia has a knack for getting the trust of her guest who relaxed and engaged reveals important stuff. Her choice of guests has with few exceptions been excellent. They are as diverse as well accomplished. Whether of a heart wrenching start and so wise and so strong (Marcia Langton) or brilliant humane and hilarious (Kathy Lette) or simply responsible and exceptional at getting extraordinary work done as herself (Sally McManus), what a remarkable set. Don’t stop, PM Gillard. I

TaffySeaTimelyGreat host and guests, important listening. Off to a promising start and I hope as it takes off it becomes an intersectional feminist podcast.
-
Sean_WongI’m a Gillard fan but ...I’m looking forward to adding stars.Upgraded from 2>4 stars The good Candid discussion on the seemingly intractable issue of gender imbalance. The bad Does a podcast addressing gender really need to be a GENDER language podcast ? Or can we address the issue of zero tolerance of misogyny. Recent improvements recognised Wider spread of guest list ( thanks to Tanya P) Sounds much better with the extra production polish! Well done productions and sound team. Suggestions Let’s hear the powerful voices of some female political journalists. Get them to ANSWER your questions.
