Laimbeer should be blamed not Isiah.
I’ve watched a couple Cedric Maxwell podcasts and I’m happy to subscribe to it now. Isiah Thomas keeps getting blamed for bird stealing the ball, but bill Laimbeer stood flat-footed, as Bill often does. Any junior high kid is taught to come back towards the ball, especially under pressure, and Laimbeer went to the lane and stood there. Isiah has been blamed for 35 years, I say Laimbeer should be blamed for the next 35. Isiah Thomas, great ball player, even though I was by far a Celtics. Now Isiah proving to be a great storyteller, too. Thanks for the podcast, Cedric. I’ve enjoyed every one of them

    Technical rating only
One star for amateur production quality. Could barely hear Goodman.

    HOF podcast
For some unknown reason, Max is not in the hall of fame for his brilliant career. This podcast is so good it should get him in there

Josue & Cedric - Great Combo
This is an entertaining, yet informative podcast. Lots of love goes to Max, but I really appreciate the balance and experience that Josue brings to the table as well. This is a must listen!

    Max bridges the gap well
Love Max. He always has a good story or three about the good ol’ days of NBA basketball. But what I really appreciate about him is his connection with this team. You can really tell he’s had real conversations with everyone on the roster. Adds so much to the podcast

    Max is hilarious
And insightful. Exactly what you’re looking for ina podcast, entertainment and information. Knows the modern game and compares it to his era in a thoughtful way, unlike many from his era.

    Never miss it
It’s one thing to be an all time great player, it’s another thing entirely to be able to articulate the game the way Max does. He’s a fantastic podcast host, this is without a doubt my favorite podcast to listen to every week.

Good Chemistry between you and Josh, Max! Your story telling, basketball IQ and passion for the game really shines through , as you keep hoisting up “ must listen to MAX podcasts!” Have many icon memories of your 70’s and 80’s Teams ,which my Dad and I bled green with. And though he passed on , my 38 year old son and I , still live and thrive rooting for the C’s. I savor your family and life comments just as much too. So, this same age, foot shorter, lifetime “Cornbread” Fan will sign off for now ,and saddle up with you for whatever unfolds this season and beyond. ( Zeph’s our 3 year old , high flying, fearless, 10 lb. rescue dog, who’s 2 best friends are 90 and 100 pound “Big Dogs” like you)... PS. My wife Sarah insisted I tell you that she loves your running commentary and will only follow a Celtics game if you are calling the shots. You make the game fun and exciting and for sure, I totally agree with her!

    Keep these great shows coming
I am old enough to have seen Cedric play with Bird, Parish, McHale and the gang when I lived in Boston in the ‘80s, either on TV or in the nosebleed seats at the Garden. I fell in love with the game of basketball because of those Celtics and all the tremendous players they battled. Hearing Cedric’s commentary and stories is delightful, educational and entertaining and I look forward to the next episode. I also love that you ended up in the same place as I did looking at Colin Kapernick and ending up with Dr. King, who also countered inequities with peaceful protest that had a real impact, though Dr. King’s cost was the ultimate sacrifice. Thanks for everything from then to now! Peace - f

    Can’t get enough Max
Always love Max and Grande on radio. What a surprise this show is. More funny stories than basketball talk, but that’s cool.
