Great Podcast but…

There’s really so much valuable information here and I appreciate all of the truly free resources and information Corinna shares. My only “complaint” is the gum chewing every now and then. I know she’s trying to be quiet, but it’s very obvious in my earbuds and distracting/cringey.

I’ve known about Corinna for years, but wasn’t listening to her podcasts. I finally started listening about 2-3 months ago and immediately starting applying new marketing strategies to my business. Wow! What a difference I have seen already! I’m thankful to have a fellow farmer who is so willing to share their experience and expertise with other farmers. She says it all at the beginning of each episode - we know how to grow product, but we have to know how to sell it too. I never realized the lack of effort I was taking on the marketing end of things until I started listening to Corinna. Thank you for sharing what you know!!!

Absolutely Necessary if you Choose to Succeed

Our small family farm came from our desire to get the most extreme pasture/silvopastured nutrient dense meat. Imagine creating the most expensive animal product in a rural town with tons of farmers. Now market this product when hardly anyone knew this kind of product even existed. Next let’s try to change the minds of a customer that doesn’t believe that your product is any different than any other farmer. That is where Corinna comes into play. The communication techniques that you will learn is worth every minute. Do not think you can just listen to 1 or 2 episodes and magic will happen. We listen to many of the episodes over and over again. We try and fail with a lesson to be learned each time until we have finally developed our sales funnel and customer journey. My degree is in Organizational Leadership (Management) and all business majors had to take at least 1 marketing class. I did not learn any of this practical marketing information when I was in school (or didn’t retain any of it.) Corinna has so many good tips and resources - I can’t get enough! I’ve been listening to a lot of marketing podcasts this winter because our farm’s efforts are in need of an upgrade. This one is by far my favorite! I come away from each episode with tips and ideas I can implement immediately and I’ve already seen some good results for our farm. I also like that I don’t feel any shame over our past marketing mistakes and mishaps when listening to Corinna; I just feel like I’m getting tools to do better going forward. This is THE best podcast! I have learned so much about marketing my CSA. I have listened to all of the episodes twice and still think I can get more out of it. The strategies that Corinna covers are so practical and inspiring and she delivers them with such enthusiasm that I end each podcast with my mind overflowing with new ideas for my farm’s marketing and have started to implement some of them with great results. If you're in the direct marketing space for your farm products this is a great podcast for the how-to on effective marketing strategies with your customer base and prospective customers. It's more advanced than other resources, but that's what makes it standout. Corinna is creating a path for you to make it happen. If the content seems confusing (some reviews mention this), then take a step back and take some time to understand and learn today’s basic online marketing terminology and approach.
